Cheshire felt a small hit again and forced himself to stagger away from the large beast. Looked like he was being made to pay for his earlier scores against the massive creature.

He’d gotten too close again. The rhino’s horns grazed Akil’s flank just as he was preparing to jump to a safe distance. It wasn’t quite as serious this time but the attack still left a nasty cut on his dusty coat. It must’ve hit a couple of thin blood vessels on his skin as well because he could feel the soft tickling of blood running down his side.
Akil backed away a couple of steps, accessing the rhino’s movements. He wasn’t getting anywhere by being hasty. He had to calm down and figure out what to do against the weakened beast. That’s when he noticed his vision getting a little hazy and the brown and white slave staggered not to fall. Oh mistress, this was not good.

She counted her lucky stars as she evaded a good trampling, but this next attack the rhino was bringing had her nervous. She did her best to dodge and hoped that her paws wouldn't get hit, which would make gardening all that much harder.

The rhino seizes an opportunity and takes a swing at each kitty, realizing that the more he gets them this way the easier it is to knock them off one by one!
Roll 1 - 5, what you roll is an automatic hit to your kitty if your number is higher then 3! Deduct that amount from your HP!
if you roll 3 or lower then that is how much you have hit the rhino!

Terrified, Shemesgisa tried to will her paws to move as the rhino barreled towards each of them. He was getting more dangerous and she felt as though her time might be up. Hopefully Anpu would at least be impressed by what she had done... Right?
As he charged towards her, she readied herself to spring and unsheathed her claws.

There was something wrong with one of his paws. Akil didn’t think it was broken but he was having an increasingly hard time putting weight on it and it. As he dodged the rhino’s attack, the pain shot through his spine and nearly paralyzed him and at that moment he knew that if he stopped now he would not be able to continue the fight. He really wished he could spot Haqikah amongst the crowd, he needed every bit of resolve just to keep standing. He had to keep moving. Just as the female cat lunged against the beast and made the rhino bleed again, Akil followed suit and aimed for a spot that was already bleeding profusely – not thanks to him unfortunately. For the first time, the cat felt his claws actually penetrating the soft tissue and he could finally see the rhino’s muscles tensing and contracting in pain. He wasn’t reckless this time and immediately jumped of beast taking a few steps back to study the effects of his first hit, a small tired grin suddenly appearing on the slave’s features.
Look, mistress. I got him. Did you see that?

Chesh only had enough a split second before his eyes widened to take in the full sight of the Rhino about to barrel into him.
Uh oh...
It was his only thought before his feet suddenly flew out from under him as he was tossed unceremoniously into the air. There was no recovering from that not with his probable internal injuries. He crashed to the ground in a heap and groaned rolling aside. At least his fellow slaves seemed to be faring better and a mild cheer rolled through his mind.
Beat that rhino to the dust
Spill your blood, spill your guts...

with one final gasp the rhino charges again, weak and shaky.
all kitties LOSE an automatic 1 HP
roll 1 - 10, 1 -5 is a miss, and you hit the rhino that much
6 - 10 is an automatic hit to your kitty and you get hit that much
if you lose all HP at the same time as the rhino you are still out (you have to remain standing)

The beast was weak, Akil could tell that much. The brown and white cat panted on the spot for a few seconds before his back paws pushed the ground with as much strength as he could muster and Akil ran towards his target, ready to deliver what he hoped was a finishing blow.
A finishing blow did come indeed but not from Akil. As he jumped towards the rhino, the creature turned abruptly and attacked. All Akil saw was the beast’s massive head moving towards him before the darkness consumed him. For a few seconds he could still feel the pain of the hit – this time he failed to suppress a pained whelp - and the air flowing around his body. Like a child’s toy, the slave’s limp body rose in the air and fell with a thud, sliding a feet on the rough surface of the dusty ground never to move again for the duration of the match. The fight was over for Akil.

He was weak, she could feel it! Just a little more... For a moment, the other cat, the one she didn't know, caught her attention. Though he hadn't created the wound, he had caused damage and she felt a bit proud of him, given his poor streak thus far. Any wants to cheer him on, though, were quickly forced out of her mind as the shaky rhino came in for another attack. She didn't see that the rhino had taken Akil out.
Quickly, she rounded and charged, sinking her claws into the rhino's flanks.

Roxy hasn't posted for her kitty within 24 hours! It is assumed it has collapsed from exhaustion.
The rhino wibbles.
He wobbles.
He then collapses too!
