My biggest fear is reading fanfiction of my work that involves yaoi/yuri/etc. and having fans vehemently oppose any other pairing.

OH GOD WHY IS THIS NOT ANY BETTER

Well, we didn't know much about the CIA, so we sort of...created our "own" CIA and called it ULEA.

ULEA (United Law Enforcement Agency, no ******** clue why this is even remotely like the CIA), are an otherwise nasty corrupt organization that steps in to foil assassination attempts, secret operations, etc.. And while they're supposed to be doing all of these great things, it's common knowledge that some of the people in ULEA take bribes and appeal to private interest, so this results in a ton of corruption.

Shinji works for this agency because it pays a ton. When she graduated high school, it became her full time job, so she didn't go to college, she entered straight into the field because her father is the CEO. She sort of acts as the researcher/strategist/person who does the leg work for some of the covert operations.

Now, as you would have already guessed, (in true fashion about stories that involve corrupt organizations) there's a nasty rebel group called NOIR who do nothing but work on exposing ULEA's crimes. Madison is one of the people involved in this syndicate, because his parents were activists and slowly became a political threat, and by private interest of a political figure, they were executed. So of course, Madison was angry and joined a rebel group. Go figure.

On one of NOIR's missions, they uncover a giant room full of confidential information, and all of that information revolves around Shinji. And I mean, we're talking, detailed descriptions of what she does everyday, a breakdown of her DNA and blood type, stock-piles of CANDID PHOTOS that were SNIPED from seemingly high up places, stuff like that. So they get the crazy idea to STEAL it because they think DUR HUR WE DO LOTZ OF DAMAGE TO THESE MEANIES and discover it's Shinji Tenshino, and then they make plans to kidnap her because they want to know why the ******** there's 3290849023894023 documents and photos of her in this one room.

NOIR kidnaps Shinji. Shinji meets Madison. Story begins.

The backstory wasn't this complicated. My friend had managed to come up with wolf girl working for the CIA. Said wolf girl had her DNA altered when a wolf bit her. As much as I informed her that this was ridiculous and nowhere near believable, she insists that we keep this bit of the storyline. To cover her "shameful wolf ears" she has a hat. It was an integral part of the story line. Whenever Shinji came in contact with blood, she would go into a violent rage.

Closet furry? I told her she could keep the blood idea, but the wolf bullshit had to go.

The rest of this was changed and everything in the beginning paragraph was 100% mine.

The nationalities were kind of an added detail that made it more uh...hmm, I don't know how to explain it. Whenever I read/watch movies dealing with corrupt government organizations and rebel groups, the first thing they mention is nationality, so I guess I just mimicked their pattern. Madison is American, I guess. Akuma is half-French, half-Japanese. Shinji is Japanese.
