Well the story does take place in the year 2020, right? Guess a few teams could've been skipped that we wouldn've heard of.

That's what I'm thinking. I hope SPD stays in the future. Remember when Lost Galaxy was supposed to be in the future, but basically wasn't?

Yeah I found that both confusing & frustrating at the sametime.

I caught a full episode of SPD this morning. It's pretty good. They kept in a message for being responsible, plus HOLY SWEET GOBOTS!!! The Megazord action was awesome! Plus I've never seen so many flashing lights on one robot in my life! Great Zord gunplay, sweet KR Ryuuki style explosions with asphalt chunks. I may end up liking this one as much, or more than Lightspeed Rescue.
