Danny rested for a few mintues his legs burned and his feet ached. He looked at the long trail leading back to Camp Half-Blood. Danny sighed got up and continued running after the HellHound with Nicole on its back. Danny was sure monsters could smell his scent, either because he didn't have the chance to bathe this morning, or he was just food to them.

 Being away fro camp wasn't the worst part. It was being o a HUGE hell hound running. Nicole wanted to get off. but she was stuck. Maybe someone was trying to steal her or kidnap her. She looked around. and she couldn't find anything to build that would get her off the hound. She looked at the boarder from camp. She saw Danny running after her. "No Danny you'll get yourself Killed!" she yelled. She didn't know if he cold hear her but she hoped he did.

Danny heard Nicole yelling but kept going anyway. He didn't care much for death he cared more about other people then himself. His feet were bleeding now, even the socks and shoes couldn't stop that. the sword was slowing him down he thought. He strapped it onto his back. the hound was getting farther and farther away. Danny was about to give up hope when he remebered he was the son of strength he HAD to push through this to the end whether it was life or death, he'd choose death as long as he made up to his name.

She sorta knew that Danny had head her. "Are you an idiot go back gooo backkk!!" She yelled. Then she had a briliant idea. She took her knfie and jammed it into the hound's body. It bounced off. "How, could it do that?" she thoguh to herself. Then she knew why. she took her bag and searched for a rope or string. She found a small rope. she tied the rope to her and one to the hellhound. Then she grabbed its fur and got by its stomach. She had her screwdriver in her hand. She found a bronze screw. she tried to unscrew it but it was hard with it moving and all. she looked for Danny. He was far back. Then the hell hound stoped. Nicoe fell to the ground. She gasped for air. She was drenched in sweat. Then thehell hound started running faster this time. What makes it worse she was being dragged. And she had dropped her knife a few feet back. Her legs kept getting scraped and burned. "I wonder wath mortals see right now." She wondered to herself. Then she put her legs up to her chest. She yelled really loud "Festus Wake!!!" But the owl didn't hear her it sat in her bag assleep.

Danny watched as Nicole was dragged across the rough ground and sped up. his pain no longer existed the only thing he wanted was getting Nicole safe and sound back at camp. Danny was close enough to the hound he could see the pain on Nicoles face. Danny held his arms open and gestured for her to grab his hand. Danny reache dout his right hand and gripped Kratos with his left. *We must be a mile form camp by now...*

Nicole lookd at him and said "Sorry I I can't. If I take your hand you will be dragged with me. I want you to go back to camp and burn a burial shroud for me now. Please." She said. There were tears running down her face now. "I am a child of Hephaestus noone cares about us. Or has ever. Why start now?" Then she smiled said thanks and then her and the hellhouns left Danny alone a mile away from camp. "Sorry!" Nicole yelled before her and the hellhound dissappeared completely.

(( oh sorry. My bad. Can you please let Danny post here once more then, he will go back to camp. In a while Nicole will appear back to camp pease? And sorry for a while ago at the beach. That wasn't even me. My cousin did that. I left this on the computer by accident and she played with it. She only knew my person's name because I had told her. Danny stopped running and a tear slid down his face. *Damnit!!* Danny threw Kratos as far as he could and wanted to leave it there. *I Can't just leave her!* Danny let another tear slide down his cheek. *I cared..* He walked to Kratos and picked the blade up. he looked over to where the hound had dragged Nicole. *Damn...* He began to walk back to camp.
three hours later he was standing in front of the gate darker, tired, and forever quiet.
