Ieyasu

PostPosted: Sun Feb 20, 2005 5:11 pm

"Ah. Interesting. They're tiny."
He turned back to Fae again. "You have a nice home here. Unfortunately, I can't really stay. I need to get back and make a start on some cooking before it gets too late."

He smiled to Fae and to Foenix.
"I'll see you both around, no doubt. Later!"
With that, he stepped out of the house and down the path, raising a hand in a wave to the girls and to the little Aerandir. It was a shame he had to go, but his dinner wouldn't cook itself.

Fae watched the two look around her home. Though it wasn't exactly finished, it was satisfying to be comfortable in. Upon some of the bookshelves were burnt out candels of vanillas and other alike scents. Her home had the arroma of vanilla and fresh tea- but surprisingly not stuffy.

Fae nodded with Feonix before Ieyasu had to leave. She frowned a bit and held the door for him. "Oh, thanks. Have a good dinner. Sorry if I kept you out too late," she bit down on her lip. "Goodbye!" That..was almost awkward. He seems very subtile and unnerving, but friendly in the least. She hoped she could see him soon, like he said.

Turning to Foenix after closing the door, she smiled and decided not to say anything. "Thanks, it's always been a favorite of mines anyways. But it needs a little more...I dunno, something for Pueblo. Nehanda pretty much knows what she wants to be?" She frowned, getting ahead of herself. "Sorry. Would you like some tea?" She asked.

Twizzler blinked. "Calm down," he quietly told her, a bit overwhelmed by such energy but didn't want to be rude. Her voice quickly droned his out and he had surrendered. "O.K. You go hide first!" He pipped.

Pueblo trotted behind Nehanda before Ieyasu almost ran over her. She shrilled at him in that owly kind of hiss, then dashed in doors before she became road kill. She didn't really want to explore without her guardian out doors, but perhaps it would be fun. She was just so unsure!

Fae smiled to her friend reasuringly. "It's O.K. She's fine. Twizzy can handle it," she giggled with sympathy for her own boy.

Foenix smiled and ran her hand over the smooth wood of a bookcase, then looked over at her friend. "I wouldn't worry too much about it. It took us a little while to come up with the idea of creating a garden for Nehanda. And frankly, I did that because I needed something to occupy her while I was working!"

She walked around the room, stopping now and then to study one of the lovely pictures. "Eventually, Pueblo's going to figure out esactly what she wants. and let me tell you, she'll let you know!"

Nehanda nodded and follwed the owl/wolf gryphon into the house. She caught up to her and briefly ran her bill over the other's ears. They were just so cute!

Nahda giggled to herself and ran into a room. After a quick glance around, she stuffed herself beneath the desk, pulling the chair in after her to conceal her little form. Just let Twizzy try to find her here!

Fae smiled a little more easily. But when? No, she'll be calm about this manner. She turned her head towards the gryphons who seemed to lingure around the now closed door as if they were plotting something. . ."Well, have a seat and make yourself at home. I don't have much to offer as I need to write Aly a note to have Rahujo or someone come in and add some things onto my house. I really need a stove area and a chimney so I can have a fireplace downstairs. Or upstairs. I really don't know. What do you think?" She asked.

Pueblo shivered as she felt Nehanda's bill run over her ears. They flickered sensatively, then flicked her tail and cooed. She seemed more awake during the night than day. Pueblo had become very comfortable around Nehanda now and enjoyed having a friend. Though Pueblo might have been more mild compared to her hyper horse/swan, she still had fun! Pueblo then spread her wings and flew to the couch, hooting for Nehanda to follow.

As Nahda flew off togo hide somewhere, Twizzy quickly covered his eyes and leaned against the wall. "1...2...thhh..ree...4...5...6..7, 8, 10! Er, 9, 10!" He counted, only making one mistake. He then looked around the room, so much shorter than everything else in the room (though he almost stood at shoulder height of Fae). He walked into the darkened bedroom and checked under the bed. "Nahda?" No answer. Hm...he checked IN the bed this time...still so sign of her.

foenix joined Fae on the couch, and studied the room. "I'm guessing that your private rooms are downstairs? Hmm. Well, I'd say it depends on where you spend the most time. If it's up here in the main room, and you want to spend a lot of time entertaining, then put the fireplace up here. And I've got a pattern for a really lovely needle-point hearth stand that I'd be happy to make for you."

Nehanda employed her wings and leapt nimbly up after her friend. It was really nice, she decided, to finally have a close friend among the othe rgryphons. She'd only met Lucius briefly, and the little boy seemed far too rough. But Pueblo was so calm and soothing to be around. Pus, her fur was really soft, and a lot warmer then Nehanda's own hide!

Nahda tried to stifle the giggles as she watched Twizzler search for her. It was so hard to be quiet! A soft little laugh escaped her, and she clapped her hands over her mouth.
PostPosted: Mon Feb 21, 2005 6:33 am

Fae thought for a moment. "That would be great if you could! ..You've been doing so much work on Cetalu.." She half smiled. "You can even install a chimney?" She asked, raising a brow. "And yes, my study room is downstairs along with my bedroom. I mostly stay down there, but when people are over, I try to keep everyone upstairs. You're more then welcome to take a look downstairs, though!" She offered, whether Foenix wanted to move or not. Her couches were soft.

Pueblo cooed then scooched closer to where Nehanda was. She sat next to her with their bodies touching, then layed her head on top of the swan's fluffy wings. Nehanda was warm! She swished her tail happily.

Twizzler heard a few giggles coming from the other room and he knew she couldn't have been upstairs. There wernt too many hiding places, so he quickly ran out of the bedroom and looked around Fae's study room. He was silent, listening, then he heard some movement under the desk and held his breath. He fell to his knees, then reached out and grbbed Nahda's foot. "Found ya!"

Foenix blushed and laughed. "Oh, no! The hearth stand is jsut a screen that stands in front and looks pretty when you're not using the fireplace. I'd really have no idea where to start building one!" She ran a hand over the couch and thought for a moment. "I think I'd prefer to stay up here for a while. There are some other things you could do with this area, like window treatments that would really bring out some of the colors around the room."

Nehanda merped softly in contentment and snuggled closer to Pueblo. She was realy quite happy to just listen to their guardians talk about . . . well, whatever it was they were talking about.

Nahda lost control of her laughter and shrieked with excitement. "You found me! You found me!" She pushed her way out from under the desk and pushed Twizzler gently (at least, gently for her). "Now you go hide! I can count all the way up to 12!"

Upstairs, Foenix winced, as she could hear the Tahnee girl quite clearly. "I'm really sorry, Fae. Nahda has absolutely no manners at all."
PostPosted: Mon Feb 21, 2005 6:56 am

Fae bit her lip and gave an apologetic look. She didn't mean to put Foenix on the spot. "Oh no, it's okay, I wasn't thinking," she giggled. "But that would still be very nice," she nodded. She looked to her plain windows. "Hm...Maybe a window seat? Something for Pueblo to bask in the moonlight. I know she can't get any downstairs and she really enjoys looking at the night sky," she thoughtfully talked. "Or maybe something with less...construction?" She grinned again.

Pueblo's ears flickered to the merp and nuzzled her head somewhat roughly without intention. Though Pueblo wasnt a cat, she was still somewhat dog, and some dogs are cuddly! Pueblo clicked her beak then latched onto Nehanda's ear, giving it a gently nibble. Her ears were so much more different than her own!

Even poor Twizzy laughed a little and stumbled backwards. "Okay!" He grinned. "Close your eyes first and start counting!" As soon as he saw her turn around, he ran up the ladder. He quickly looked aorund the room, at the two guardians, then ran over and hid between the two chairs that made a small area of space that would keep him hidden. "Shh!" He told the two women, pressing his index finger to his lips.

Fae shook her head. "It's alright. At least Twizzy has someone to play with...I'd prefer them to play outside, but it's getting much too dark for that," she frowned. She leaned over and patted Twizzy's head. "Can you guys settle down a bit?" She asked with a smile before she was scolded away. He didn't want to be caught!

Foenix grinned down at Twizzler and pressed a finger to her lips, indicating her promised silence, before looking back at Fae. "I like the idea of a window seat. You could buy or make a wide box with a hinged top, and put cushions and stuff on top. Then you'd have both the window seat and something for storage!"

Startled, Nehada was initially inclined to jump up at the rough cuddle. but this was Pueblo, so she remained still, deciding that actually, it wasn't too bad! When the owl/wolf gryphon began to nibble on her ear, she even allowed her eyes to drift closed. It was a very soothing sensation. she spread a single enormous wing and draped it over the both of them.

Nahda quickly counted up to twelve, skipping 4 and 7, and including 2 four times. "Ready or not, here I's comes!" she cried. she turned around and swiftly checked beneath the desk, ensuring that Twizzler hadn't stolen her spot! she jumped up into the air and checked the tops of bookcases and behind the door, and then hurried over into Fae's room. The bed was quickly negated, and she stared around her, wondering where to look next.
PostPosted: Mon Feb 21, 2005 7:21 am

"Oooo, yeah! Hm, I think I shall make a list of ideas tonight...window seat being one. I'll have to make a stop inland probably sometime this week too then. Pueblo seems to enjoy the plushies I got on valentine's day," she nodded. She thought some more.."A stove...I'll probably have to get an old fashion one, you know, with firewood."

Pueblo cooed teh swan/horse to sleep just about happily. As a wing draped over the two, her head tooka sharp turn and watched it, jerking her head as it fell over her. She shuffled her wings and laid into her paws against her chest, then pressed her head against Nehanda's and watched around the room. Grr, I'll protect you! She wasn't the least bit tired

Fae smiled at the two gryphons on the other chair. "Aww...look at them!" She spoke softly to Foenix, pointing.

Twizzler thouhgt for a moment. It'd be hard for her to find him at this rate..."NAHDA!" He called out once, then stayed silent again. Perhaps that'd give her a hint.

Foenix nodded happily. "There's something really wonderful about he smell of a wood stove," she said. "You've got this terrific 'urban rustic' thing going with the house." She stared at the windows again and said, "You might consider curtains in a nice soft blue. That'll go well with the earthy tones, and I find that blues tend to be both soothing and enervating."

Downstairs, Nahda jumped when she heard Twizzler's voice. "I'm gonna gets you, Twizzy!" she yelled, and bolted up the stairs. Unfortunately, just as she reached the upper leavel, She tripped on the last stair, and went tumbling head over wings over heels. Finally, she sprawled into a side table, bringing a lamp crashing to the floor. The little Tahnee girl sat up and looked around her, and began to cry.

Foenix had jumped to her feet at the loud series of noises. With a resigned sigh, she crossed to Nahda and picked her up. The child had a great goose-egg on her forehead, but seemed fine, otherwise. Foenix cuddled her and turned to Fae. "I think I've lost count of the number of times I've apologized to you today, Fae. I'll pay for that lamp. But I think it's probably time for us to head home. Nahda's just too wound up for her own good."
PostPosted: Mon Feb 21, 2005 7:47 am

Fae thoughtfully looked at her windows, imagining the shades of blue hanging there. "Yeah...I wanted to give it an outdoorsey look for Pueblo to feel comfortable in..." Just then she heard the crash andsprangto her feet alongside Foenix. Her eyes widenened and ran over to make sure Nahda was okay. Oneof her lamps had shattered, but as long as the girl was okay, she meekly nodded to Foenix. "Er...yeah. You must have everything padded at your house," she joked and gave a grin to let Foenix know she wasnt mad. "Here, I'll get a band aid for her... Pueblo!"

Pueblo heard the little girl run up the ladder and puffed her feathers out slightly in defense. But until she heard a crash, Pueblo jumped to her feet and dashed over to Fae's side. "Peep?" She looked up to her guardian and thr crying girl. Oy did it hurt her ears! She tried to make the sound stop by covering her head with her paws.

"Pueblo, go downstairs and get a band aid out the the night stand drawer. You think you could do that for me?" She smiled, pointing downstairs.

The owl/wolf bobbed her head and with geat pleasure, she darted downstairs where it was more quiet. Flying silently through the rooms, she beated her wings and landed on the bed, stretched her neck out and fondled the drawer knob open with her nimble beak. Inside, she stared for a moment, then took out what seemed to look like a bandage she'd seen her guardian put on herself once, took that up, then flew back upstairs.

"Thanks, sweetie." Fae took the band aid and gave it to Foenix. "I'm afraid I don't have any ice," she frowned. "Thanks for coming over though. You really gave me a lot of ideas!"

Twizzler also leaped from behind the couch. "Nahda? Nahda! I'm soo sorry," he frowned, tears coming to the boys own eyes. "Please be okay..." He whimpered. He felt soo guilty.

Foenix smiled at Fae in gratitude. "Thanks a lot, Fae. and thank you, Pueblo!" she bent and accepted the band-aid from the gryphon, and applied it to the bump on her Tahnee's head. "There, now, Nahda. You're okay."

Nahda sniffled down at Twizzler. "S'not your fault, Twizzy. I'ms okay. I just have a boo boo!" She looked over at Fae, turning the corners of her lips down in that adorably sad look that only little girls can use. "I's sorry I broke your lamp, Miss Fae. I'll tape it back together."

Nehanda had follwoed close behind Pueblo, and was now perched upon Foenix's shoulder, nuzzling Nahda and merping gently.

Foenix quickly picked up the pieces of the lamp and turned back to Fae. "I'll see what we can do about fixing this. Let me know when you're free, and we'll get together again soon. Thanks for everything!" She herded her two kids out the door, and headed toward home with a final wave toward Fae.

Pueblo bobbed her head happily. She loved flying around! She cocked her head tothe side as Nehanda perched the fussy child's shoulder and grimaced. She must have a lot of tolorance for her...She flew around the two and cooed before Fae opened the door to her guests and flew out with them! "Hoo!" She thought she was following Nehanda home!

"Pueblo!" She giggled, "Get back here!" Such a silly Aerandir. "Don't mention it, Foenix! See you sometime soon. Goodnight."

The Tahnee boy ran out to the porch and leaned on the railing. "Bye, Nahda! Get better soon..." He trailed off. He still felt guilty as he waved goodbye..

Fae waved as well and held her arms open as Pueblo screeched at Nehanda, then flew back to her guardian, right into her arms! She cooed a bit and watched the shadows walk away, then instantly looked to the shining stars in the sky. As soon as everyone was gone, Fae called in Twizzy and shut the door to her house. She'll have to plan something out during the day next time so the children could stay outside..Not like the lamp was anything too important to her.

First entry
[20.02.05]
(Backdated)

I finally prepared my house for company, but I didn't expect to have more than one person over. I met Ieyasu, the newest guardian, but I didn't get to see his artifacts even when I invited him inside. Weird..

Pueblo seems much more active at night, too, and enjoys gazing at the moon and stars. Nehanda and her are practically best friends now, as they were caught snuggling on the couch today.

Twizzler and Nahda played hide-and-go-seek, but ended up breaking one of my lamps on accident. I never liked that lamp...

So Foenix gave me a few ideas for my house! I'll need to write to Aly, though, I don't think there are any carpenters on Cetalu yet. I really wish for a chimney installment and window seat. I could probably build a window seat, but definately not the chimney. Perhaps Rahujo could put together a metal chimney for me, but, I don't know yet. Still thinking.
