Eddie tried not to stare too much but he couldn't help but what like a gawky foal.
Both of them had different tails, he couldn't actually really reach his properly because it was too short, sometimes it got a bit matted and tufty but that's one of the things he hated the most, luckily it wasn't too often because the fur on it was short. In contrast, Star's tail was long and slender with longer hair on the end, he couldn't say he didn't ever imagine what it'd be like to have a longer tail, it could be a good asset in day to day things but it could also hinder you in a big chase or even just a game of tag.

Eddie's fetlocks finally dried, he slowly lowed his neck and twisted his legs so he was lying on his side enjoying the little bit of warmth from the sun. He closed his eyes for a few moments letting the warmth stroke his face, later he opened his eyes and looked over to his new acquaintance, her sunny glow now was even more apparent.

'She's glowing',he thought to himself and smiled closing his eyes again.
