shadow heard some familiar voices. she looked up from her hiding spot on the side roof to see the mcdonanlds waitress and kage.she grimaced, and lied back down on the side roof's tiles, not wanting to get involved in the strange conversation.

Sora was shaking, terrified and edging her way backwards, not knowing where to turn... a pained look on her face. "You don't get it do you? I'm--" Sora tripped and started to fall backwards. "KYAH!"

Kages eyes widened as he saw her falling he quickly ran and grabbed her wirst to keep her from falling. "I gotcha...You ok?"

She blushed and pulled her wrist back, a pained look in her eyes. She reached for her back pocket and pulled out a knife, purposefully dropping it to the ground, letting the blade sink into the gravel, poison filling a small area of the stones, enough poison to kill anything if stabbed with it. "My dad... hunts your kind... and all things that aren't human" she said sadly. "I'm not very good at it, but he's trying to teach me..." she backed up slowly, tears filling her eyes. "I know you're different--- that's why--- I'm sorry!" she turned on her heel and started to run away.

Kage stands there silently then screams. "So your father is one of them...I have no choice then..." Shadow fire surronds Kage as he stands there with his eyes closed. "Shadow vines!" The fire turns into shadow vines and try to grab the girl. "I'm sorry but if your father is one of them than I need some information..."

Sora felt panic surge through her veins. "N-No... This is how..." she stood motionless, watching the vines in horror. "Mom-- this is how they took--" she gulped and curled her hands into fists as she nimbly jumped over two vines and stood in front of Kage as the vines followed her. She looked at him, into his eyes, wishing she wasn't her father's daughter, praying some FBI agent would poof up on the sidelines with papers saying "hey guess what? You're adopted!" Ha. Like that would ever happen. "Kage... I don't want to fight..." she said in a weak voice from her crying.

"T-The what?" she honestly wanted to help him. When he closed the door and locked it... she bit her lip and rubbed her arm. Her eyes drifted over to her blade and she picked it up slowly, all the poison gone. She blinked back tears and held the blade close to her heart. After putting it in her back pocket, she used her jacket to scoop up the contaminated gravel and started to walk it over to a dumpster.

After making sure no one was... in... one of the dumpsters, she threw the gravel into it, jacket and all, wiping her hands on her jeans. She pulled out the knife. Not wanting this life anymore... "Why does he want me to do this? Is he still mad about Mom?? Why..." she clutched the knife and threw it into the dumpster, screaming why me?!?" she panted heavily as she dropped to her knees, cold, lost, and no idea who else would want a bite of human here.... Jumping when she saw the man, and getting in a defensive position, wearing nothing but a tank top and jeans "WHO ARE YOU???" she demanded, still petrified.

The man starts slowly approaching her. "Im Agent 100 of the Agency of Only human Affairs...I'd like to ask you some questions about our friend Kage." He said with a somewhat evil looking grin.
