Ardin smiled at Joou as she laid on his foot. He sat there in bliss and stroked her side with his tail. He'd never been happier. After another few minutes he got up to take the fish off the grill. He placed it on a large leaf and then laid it between Joou and himself. "I hope it is cooked to your liking. he said as he sliced the fish with his claw and ate a piece, looking to her face for a reaction.

Joou took a bite and chewed it carefuly minding the bones. After she had eaten a little she perked up and said"It taste absolotely wounderful." than bent again for another bite. After awhile she asked "What brought you out here?"

Ardin finished eating and thought on her question, he hadn't really thought about what led him to this particular spot. "Hmm...that's a good question. I guess it seemed as good a spot as any for a campsite. I explore and travel around quite a bit, or I did, but not so much anymore. I've come to like this area quite a bit.", he said with a smile and sparkle to his eye as he looked at her.

"That makes sense. What made you stop exploring? Was it this place or something else,"she paused for a moment to pounder than asked "Do you have any family?" She than sat quietly watching him.

He looked to the ground and blushed a bit before he answered. "I found this area to be extra beautiful. I met you here. Nothing else can compare to your beauty." His face got redder as he looked for her reaction, but then he turned away from at the mention of family. He was unsure how he should answer that question. "Family......I Umm...yes...yes I do, in a way...." He turned to look at her, not sure if she would understand.

Joou became aware that Ardin's body language and voice changed. He sort of started to close up. This made her frown and slightly mad. She looked him dead in the eyes with a fiery spark flashing threw her own. "Ardin tell me."

He smiled at Joou, seeing the spark in her eyes excited him. "Alright, I have 2 sons....with another male. You have have seen him before....An annoying purple starry looking bloke. He drugged me...well we were drugged...i guess you could say. It resulted in 2 bcr's, Nakki and Odji. I see Nakki occasionally, he looks like Ambrose mostly but is blue and Odji, is who-knows where, but he looks like be, but his flames are purple." Ardin spoke in a lighthearted tone he used to show such a distaste for Ambrose and you could hear it in his voice, but no longer. Being with Joou has calmed him.

Joou felt kind of shocked and you could see it on her face. He had kids with another male. It wasnt him having kids that got with her. Or even with it being a male. And she understood the conditions cause her Doku just went through it but she had yet to find out with who. In a soft but strong voice she spoke "You mean you have babies, two sons, with that cute purple male."she paused for a moment than asked, "Why are you with me?"

Ardin looked at the ground when he saw her shocked expression. He didn't know what to say, but when she referred to Ambrose as cute, his head snapped up. "I wouldn't go as far to call the idiot cute.....", he said kinda annoyed but then at her next words he looked at her dumbfounded. "What do you mean 'Why Im with you?' Why wouldn't I be with you?" He was confused by her question, he liked her, so much...maybe even loved her. He could barely remember the happenings with Ambrose and he didn't care to, he just wanted to stay with Joou.

"He is cute. Lovely purple and stars. Its a cute combo."Joou stated plainly."Yes why are you with me? You have a family so I wounder why with me. And he is cute it cant be all that hard to get along with him even if its for a little while."She pointed out. She knew it could be done. "Guess I"m asking why did you leave them and pick me?" she toyed with her tail not sure what to do.

Ardin stood there, baffled. He couldn't believe what she was saying. "I didn't leave them....I'd never leave my family. True I don't exactly like starry butt, but i tolerate him...occasionally. And I love my sons, they just have their own lives, their own adventures. Contrary to belief I'm only attracted to females...to...to you. Actually I find myself in love...with you.", his speech slowed as he finished his words, but he did not falter. He was looking straight into her eyes, a bit taken a back at the realization. His face grew stern and determined as he closed what little gap there was between him and Joou and he said with a vibrant determination, "Joou, I love you!". He took a step back now shaking a bit from nerves. He couldn't believe how fast his heart was beating.

Joou sat there quietly as Ardin went on about his family. Thinking she had made him mad her ears drooped and she moved her self a little closer to the ground. "I'm sorry" she said softly. " I didnt mean for it to seem like you left them. Was just wondering why you are here with me instead of off with em."She let him continue on with what he was saying. She heard him say I love you or at least she thought that was what he said. She could be projecting her own thoughts though. Moving closer to him that their chest pressed together and she had to tilt her head back a little to look him in the eye she asked "Did you just say you loved me?"

Ardin, looking at her he gulped as her chest was against his. Yes, Joou, I love you...and you didn't make me mad, i just thought...well Im not sure what i thought...but you didn't make me mad, you could never make me mad." He glanced down at her, his expression softened, he searched her eyes for a thought. He wanted to know what she was thinking, did she feel the same? Or had he completely made a full out of himself?

She smiled a very loving smile. Her heart speed up and was pounding against her chest. She was pretty sure that he could feel her heart to which made her blush insanely. Standing on her tip toes she lend up and kissed him than whispered in his ear"Yes Ardin I love you.I love you very much."

Ardin couldn't contain his joy after hearing her words. He felt like screaming it to the world, but instead he nuzzled her affectionately and gave her a very passionate kiss. "You have no idea how happy that makes me, nothing can bring me down from this heaven". He kissed her again and smiled, lovingly.
