Maikeru felt the tingliness and numb feelings slowly drain from his legs. It didn't really matter at the moment, but it was nice not feeling like your legs were dead to you.

Maikeru focused on the lines pointing towards Kyo's swords. Little blue swords took shape in his mind the same shape and properties of Kyo's blades. Where Kyo moved, they moved. It was a technique Maikeru had learned while training in the wastelands. Since he had such an affinity for the lines his subconcious automatically interpreted any small moves or twitches they made to figure out how Kyo's body was actually moving. He would also be able to notice any shift in posture through the blades. So kicking and punching without them wouldn't help Kyo any.

Maikeru began slashing and stabbing. Every time he could he would randomly strengthen a stab or slash by Pushing on it, adding much more force to the blow. He would also be Pushing and Pulling on his blades and Kyo's blades slightly to maneuver them to better block Kyo's strikes. Maikeru also Pushed and Pulled at oppurtune times to foul up Kyo's own strikes and blocks. He couldn't completely control Kyo's blades. But he could Push and Pull them off course, or use the Pushes and Pulls to lessen the force behind attacks and blocks.

Maikeru Pushed hard against Kyo's blades and a few of the knives had placed earlier and flipped backwards in the air. Instead of alighting back on the ground he simply flipped and suspended himself in the air with delicate Pushing. He appeared as if he was standing, but his right pinky toe still couldn't bear his full weight, so that would be too risky.

"Dude come on, I've seen you fight. I've seen you shoot huge blasts of lightning. I'm barely holding anything back from you. I can take it. Lets go!" He had been slowly lowering himself to the ground and now stood, his eyes open locked fiercely on Kyo.

"Thank you!" Maikeru had a look of comical releif painted across his features.

He watched the first few bolts rocket and flicker across the sky, impressed at their speed and power. His eyes were fixed on the sky, the only reason he had warning was the blue line moving telling him Kyo was now aiming at him, Maikeru, Here we go!

Maikeru Pushed himself off the ground slightly and Pushed one of his Shikai daggers directly back at Kyo through the bolt. He was quite sure it wouldn't melt, it was part of his Zanpakutou after all. But he was curious how much kinetic energy the bolts had. The knife would slice through and contine towards Kyo. If it wasn't slowed at all Kyo might be able to dodge it, if he didn't and it scored a solid hit that body part would be yanked back, pulling Kyo with it, and would pin him very securely to the building behind. Maikeru figured the lightning was strong than that so Kyo should be okay.

At the last moment to help complete the illusion, and be sure Kyo wouldn't be expecting it(his sight of Maikeru would be blotted out by the lightning bolt) Maikeru Pushed the Shikai dagger into the lightning, and Pushed himself to the side, hurtling out of the way of the lightning. Moving that fast that suddenly put some stress on his body and focus, it was a good thing he wouldn't have to make such close calls often, but the trick was worth it.

Maikeru heard the crackle of energy and saw his dagger slow down to almost a crawl. Several more booms issued through the air. S***. Maikeru looked up and saw three large bolts of electricity rocketing towards him.

He Pushed himself to the side to avoid the first, it crashed through the roof of the walls that mazed about the Sereitei. His Push took him into a perfect angel. He Pulled on the dagger Kyo had dodged,and brought it shooting towards his back with the same amount of force as before. With a short gesture and a great Push he sent two more of the daggers rocketing towards Kyo as well.

To avoid the second bolt he Pushed suddenly against a knife embedded in a wall opposite him. The bolt made a hole to match the first. The last he dodged by Pulling on Kyo's blades to bring him slightly off balance, and Pushing a coin behind. It hit a wall just intime to throw it's weight into moving Maikeru and he shot towards Kyo, leaving a smoking black mark on the cobbles below.

((to sum up: Kyo has a dagger shooting towards his back, two at him in front. and Maikeru managed to dodge the raining bolts and is now flying towards Kyo. The daggers have too much force behind them to be blocked or parried effectively.))

Maikeru hadn't been Pushing to hard when he was hit with the Kido so his flight basically reversed itself, he flew back almost to his original starting point. The only reason he didn't smack into the wall or the ground was a strong and sudden Push to slow his speed. Maikeru Pulled the three daggers back and set them to floating calmly about as they usually did.

He took a deep breath, he'd never had very much stamina and Pushing on that dagger at the end so it slowed down and didn't tear Kyo's arm off took more than he had thought out of him. At least with a bit more...Crap, was that a freaking tiger? Made of lightning? S***

He brings in his big guns, I bring in mine. Maikeru Pulled sharply on every source of metal he could reach, all of the daggers and knives flew back to him. His coin pouch ripped open spilling hundreds of coins out. Kyo's ring even answered the call. He Pushed and Pulled carefully and with great force. Within seconds every bit was making a miniature cyclone around him at intense speeds. A protective sphere of whirling metal formed.

"Come and get it kitty!" Maikeru released the rotation and shot every bit of metal he could at the tiger, Pushing as hard as he could. He could feel his reiatsu and energy draining away as each weapon was swalled by the tiger.

The immense spray of metal tore into the lightning avatar dissipating it's energy little by little. The lightning tore into them and melted most into slag. The Shikai daggers acted as mini lightning rods attracting the stray bolts so they wouldn't hit Maikeru.

Having been reduced to slightly smaller than a normal tiger it continued rushing towards Maikeru. He glared at it and tiredly drew Vin. Taking a square stance, and using the little Kendo he knew he slashed. Some energy discharged up the blade numbing his hands and almost causing him to drop the blade. The rest was separated and flew to either of his sides, dissipating and fading away into the ground.

"Well, I'm pretty much spent, I've got enough to trade a few more blows left in me but not much more. You wanna keep going or call it a draw for the day?"

The lightning finally being gone Maikeru Pulled weakly on the knives and they slowly floated back to him, revolving around Vin's hilt. Which was also functioning as a cane so Maikeru could stand more steadily.

"Yeahhhhh, How about we not do that? I would like to keep my nose for a few more days, and Kei hates it when we die...weirdo." Maikeru laughed weakly. "Draw? I can do a draw." Maikeru stuck out his hand and carefully shook the shinigami's clawed paw thing. "See you later man."

Maikeru nodded respectfully, he Pushed himself up into the sky and Pulled any of his equipment that was salvagable after him. A couple puddles of melted slag were left behind but they could be easily replaced. The small cloud of metal drifted after him as if tied by a rope and he leapt and flew across the Sereitei back to his quarters. Careful Pushing and Pulling kept his movement quiet and quick.
