Chad chuckled, "Actually, I know a Hephaestus kid. He's actually not bad-looking at all... It must be a pain though to have been thrown down Mount Olympus, though... Zeus must've been real pissed at his son to do that."

Her face darkened. "I ran away from the 16th family who tried to adopt me. I was living on the streets when a satyr came and led me to camp." Alexis looked at Chad with eyes like amethyst - cold, hard and shiny. "How about you?"

Chad got kind-of creeped out by her eyes, but he stood firm.
He said, "I found this girl named Alex and we both were guided here by a water nymph she had been traveling around with since she ran away herself... She said she had died once before, but her father, Erebus, saved her from getting stuck in the Underworld..."((Alex is my other character.))

"Yes... They're almost similar. It's just that Erebus is more of the main god of shadows. You're more connected to darkness itself and, even, death.
"And, actually, the part about being able to rise from the dead relies on one's strength and willpower... And, perhaps, favor. Erebus only has one child thus far, and that's Alex. He'll do anything to keep his child safe... Some connection I sometimes wish I had with my father."

"Yeah...I-I wish I had a bond with my father like that...living alone is really tough..." She looked away, her purple eyes starting to water. "Being more connected to darkness and death...that means we have similar powers, right?" She started to smirk, even though her eyes are still sad.

"Oh, they pop up all the time. There's none at the moment, but, when one starts recruiting, you have to seriously be quick about it... They can pop up even in the middle of the night."
