My points on L4D2...
1) I LOVE the Spitter, I really do.
2) Roaming Witches, rule.
3) Melee weapons are a major problem. Instant killing Tanks and other special infected? Ridiculous. In L4D1, you had to beat them off and THEN shoot them, taking time to actually kill them or let them get away, OR shoot them and do splash damage to your teammate. With melee weapons you just swing, kill the thing, and move on. It takes away necessity for travel time or accuracy. The chainsaw is the only good one. Limited use and it makes sense to kill things quickly with it.
4) Added weapons, laser sights... etc. pointless. I understand having a FEW more but they added a ridiculous amount for no good reason.
5) Ping issues make the Jockey and Charger ridiculously broken and ******** pathetic respectively. Given the size and randomness of the Jockey's movements, both on the ground and on someone, he'll move and then you'll miss the shot. They have extended grab times for no good reason AND are near impossible to prevent their pounce.
5b) The Charger's charge is TERRIBLY inaccurate. Charging from a distance almost 100% misses. Charging up close just pushes them out of the way and you miss anyway. Charging even from a medium distance is silly and misses most of the time.
6) The AI director is unbalanced. In L4D1, the maps will be equal about 95% of the time. Witch may move a few yards and pills may change to a health pack but basically the same. L4D2 doesn't do this.
7) All the weapons are sniper accurate.
