Im not stupid i know that.
Well it was a stupid statement hun. . . . Or a stupid comparison. . . . Either way. And I agree with Crazy Loop, most likely they will tweak her voice and possibly her look but the only thing I will say is they should give her a different color besides yellow. . . . They already have the twins and Neru so that's three yellow characters and each other character have their own color so she should diffidently be orange or black. . . . Haku white so why not a black character?

But remember, the look is only for most artists who draw for songs/PV's to have a good idea of what they are drawing. For example, in many songs, I've seen Miku, Rin, Len, Kaito, Gakupo and everyone else portrayed with another colour of hair and a whole different outfit. And also remember LILY was designed as an anime version of her voicer before Rin or Len was even designed by KEI, who also did LILY. So really, you can't change a design which is older than Rin, Len and probably even Neru. So this says that Rin, Len or Neru shouldn't be the blonde's there, ne? XD

Also at the same time, "Lily" was still just the anime-style character Kei had already designed for Masuda Yuri of the band m.o.v.e.
Get your timelines right, man. :U
However I do agree that Japan in general needs to lay off of the Hitlerstyle. I can't even count how many animu characters there are with blonde hair and blue eyes.

I think you need to get your eyes checked. . . . I never said anything that was against what you said. I just said that if Lily was made up before Len and Rin, then obviously Kei had enough time to think of a unique style to have Lily look different and not look like another Neru with a smile. But if you want to talk about time lines, I bet you anything in the future there will now be a song about a yellow team with Lily, Len, Rin, and Neru. I bet you anything there will now be a song about it.

Why [why!?] would Kei even bother changing the design for Rin and Len if, at the time, no one thought of putting Lily in the same league as the Kagamines? No one thought to make her a Vocaloid, and no one thought of using her established anime version as the character. So, why would Kei even bother redesigning the already-marketable Twins to a more unique yet less popular design, only because he already used that design in an [at the time] unrelated project?
Keep in mind Crypton's whole CV series was designed to be marketable, and of course that means the character designs would be conforming to stereotypes, like blonde hair and blue eyes.
I am sorry if I sound like I'm bitching, but I am speaking as someone who also designs characters, albeit not for money or fame. D:

Thinking about it, LILY needs no change.
Let's take some PV examples;
Mozaik Role; A darker Gumi and normal-er Gumi not in original design clothing, Gumi singing.
Hachi-P's Works; I've barely seen a Miku in those. It's always anime-like, but no image of the singer half the time.
Gekokujou; Different outfits, Rin/Len singing.
Animators and artists hardly ever stick to the original box art. No point changing really, now that I remember this.

As for a character design for Lily, I would do so if I could draw at all. . . I could easily give her a good design that is more original than the others where she's not wearing another regular skirt, hell I'd probably even change the design of the skirt so it wasn't another Neru, Miku, Teto. . . I'd make the skirt have pointed edges so they have a more interesting and different style and possibly either make them striped or random checkered markings. Her knee high boots seem no different than MIku's. She wears boots just like Lily's but instead they are tight all the way up unlike LIly's so again another Miku and Neru look. As for color how about Orange or a different shade mixed around red? I will agree I like her look but again she looks like another Neru with her hair down and a smile on her face. The only thing I find different and unique with her is her top. Other then that everything is another Miku or Neru design. HELL she even has something wrapped around her left like like Neru. . . Just instead of something to hold a cellphone it's just a string of some kind. . . And speaking of theme what would Lily's symbol be? A Lily Flower?
