Aakosir Alicia_Nobody Sanguina Cruenta Alicia_Nobody No actually, there were to many religion wars to count. Name ten. READ -too many to count- do you know how many people died over history just because of one small religion? The only one I can think of was the Holy Crusade in the Midievil times. This pickled vegetable...Unless we're counting wars between other Christians. If we're counting wars between different Christian sects then we've got that lovely little massacre during the sort rain of Queen Mary of England (Bloody Mary) where the Catholics were totally destroying the protestants. But then... that really wasn't a war...
Perhaps when Alicia says "war" what she really means is "attempted genocide for religious excuse"? ... could kick your a** !!

I'm still trying to figure out what the title means XDYou got me but I know that parallel dimensions and time travel are aspects of the series. It's still cool though and has something for everyone, genderswaping, magic, mechas, science-fiction, fantasy... Hell if DDR had been around I'm sure they would have thrown that in too. Oh wait I forgot about the ending sequence with all the characters dancing ><. XD Wow. Sounds like a boat load.

The Crusades weren't even began over religion back then, they began because Alexius I Comnenus asked Pope Urban II for help defending his land from encroachers who happened to be Muslim.
The Pope at the time was trying to continue reforms started by Pope Gregory VII to strengthen the power of the Papacy. Any agenda can be strengthened when there is a cause to rally to.
Thus, Greg and Urban joined forces so to say... There is allot more to the story, but I don't feel like relating history to everyone, and quite honestly, it's been a long time since I studied the personalities of the early church. I am pretty sure I remembered who was who though.
The infighting of the church wasn't exactly about religion either, it was about power vs. freedom. For the most part, Protestants wanted to bring Christianity back to a personal level, the Catholic institution had accrued too much power and didn't want to lose it.
I seriously don't believe there was ever a war fought over religion, I just think that leaders have used and abused religion as a way to manipulate people into doing their dirty work. It is a shame that people so willingly follow along as soon as their beliefs are mentioned.

This pickled vegetable...Sometimes it feels like people hate on Christianity out of that stupid idea of "non-conformity". Because Christianity is one of the largest faiths in the world it makes you a cool rebel for condemning them. Ugh. ... could kick your a** !!

Alright that killed me a little inside. But I suppose that is what most non Christians feel. I just find that Christianity does not fit my beliefs. I mean, I believe in a pantheon of gods and dieties and reincarnation and I agree with gay marriage so I'm pretty much an oddball if I was Christian.

If there really are "to many to count"... ... could kick your a** !! Exaaaactly. I DID read "too many to count". And I thought, "surely if there are too many to count, she can name ten of them right off the top of her head". Unless of course you can't count to ten.

The ones that followed had more to do with nobles looking for an excuse to go loot treasure and plunder free land.

But I am happy with my spirituality right now
