Bandi's eyes grew huge in suprise as the man created the red smoke. He soon couldn't supress a grin.
"Just give me a moment." He said and threw off his hood.
He swung his staff, which began to glow blue. A magic circle with a simplified black turtle appeared underneath his feet, then dissappeared.
"Ready. " He smirked and dashed after Hokyo.

As he came face to face with a soldier he swung his staff with the flat side of the blade, only to knock him back. But this only left him vulnerable for three other soldiers to close in on him. By the time he could do anything, he was surrounded and he did not have enough room to use his staff.
Bandi threw his staff in the air spinning, and a ring of blue glowing hexagons formed around him and blocked the blades.
Before they could register the fact that their attack did not hit home, Bandi drew his palm and curved his fingers like a paw of an animal. With the small of the palm he struck the man across the face. Before the man could fall, he drove that very palm into the ground and pivoted on his arm, swinging his legs to kick the remaining two men.

Hokyo glanced back at the other man; he had done good to trust him. He twisted his wrist and knocked the soldiers, force back and in a moment, his elbow slammed against the man’s face. Stepping back, his feet moving as he dodged another attack, the red smoke was fading. “Ten seconds!” He shouted above the noises of battle, his hand reached forward to slam his open palm against that of another soldier. The man that he had tripped was up and Hokyo spun around, the sword striking the man in the ribs, at first it looked as though he had sliced into the man, but when you looked closely the blade had a small glow on it, pressing against the soldier’s uniform, but keeping it from cutting him. The soldiers looked down in shock, but as soon as Hokyo stood up again, his eyes glaring at the man. The man spit up blood, the impact from the blade had done damage, but didn’t kill.

Hokyo glanced around; he had taken out four of the soldiers. It appeared as Bandi had managed to deal with three at that time. Dropping the sword, his mind was racing for a moment. He knew that not many of the men had seen him well enough; he took a deep breath and wrapped his right hand into a fist, closing his eyes he pulled it to the right. “After this run to the outer edge of the Dakion mountain range, tell the people you find there, that Hokyo sent you.” Hokyo spoke towards the man again, and in a split second slammed his own fist into his face, the impact sent him flying backwards. He landed on the ground, with a thud.

The approaching of more soldiers were already rushing to the scene, leaving Bandi alone to either face them or run. Though if he was smart he would’ve taken Hokyo’s advice, the red smoke was dying leaving a good image of who was under attack and who had attacked.

Bandi saw the sea of men headed in their direction.
He was not going to leave Hokyo behind. He was going to take down as much of these cursed men with him.

Then, the curse of all men endowed with the Black Tortoise's spirit kicked in: Logic took over. Reason conquered over his heart.
There was no way they could take them all down. Hokyo said that there the rebels were in the Mountains. If they were to fall, They would die in vain and the Rebels would not know of their death. On the other hand, if Hokyo falls, men of Daton's stature and power always desired to bring strong fighters under their command and it would buy them time. If he were to head to the mountains now, he would be able to warn them and inform them of Hokyo's capture.

"I will be back!" He promised and turned. He swung his staff again, and this time, a red holographic turtle enclosed him. As he ran, the form moved along with him as if it was an armored vehicle, crushing and deflecting the force of soldiers aside. Once he was sufficiently out of harms way, he swung his staff again and a white fog fell upon his immediate vicinity.
While the soldiers searched inside the fog in vain, Bandi slipped out and quickly headed to the mountains.

One of the soldiers grabbed a hold of Hokyo, pulling him up, examining him. The mark on his face had grown, spreading a deep blue across his face. The man growled and dropped him again, kicking him a few times and then drug him off. The other soldiers that had no sought after Bandi now went around cleaning the mess up they had created.

A few minutes later, Hokyo was awoken by a few buckets of water being thrown on him. He was inside of a rather large cell, his hands and head inside of wood, while his legs were chained to the wall. The wood pallet around his head was chained to the ceiling to keep him in a kneeling position. He sighed, his ribs hurt and his face was killing him. What the hell was he thinking? A soft chuckle made him look up at a rather large man sitting in a chair in front of him.
“What a surprise to have the Red Blitz in my own prison, a man that Daton wants to claim and run a dagger into his own heart, the old general that conquered more then a half of the land that Daton now owns, but now a traitor.” Spoke the cocky man, his uniform that of a higher rank, but with Hokyo’s right eye closing it was hard to make out. “You give me too much credit, if I was such a man, I would’ve never been caught.” Said Hokyo as he laughed out loud, but the other man found no humor in it. Of course the man would know Hokyo, a man of the higher rank would keep a eye out for him.

“You were Daton’s most prized soldier, and yet you betrayed him, why?” Asked the soldier, crossing his legs and resting his white gloved hands on his knees, this made Hokyo laugh harder. “If you want to know so bad, why don’t you cut me open and find what makes me work?” Hokyo starred at the other man, but the man still didn’t find any humor in this. “What a coward of a high rank you are, you sit in your prison eating properly and I doubt you once have dirtied your hands since you took post.” Hokyo spoke without looking at the man, he truly hated people like the man that sat before him.

The man lost his temper and rose from his seat in such a hurry that he knocked the chair out from beneath him. Rushing over to Hokyo, and slamming his newly polished boot into Hokyo, Hokyo helpless as the chains rattled against the attacks. The man gripped Hokyo’s hair and glared at him. “How dare you speak to me, I am your better you will obey me.” Said the man in a fit of rage; however Hokyo had a glare in his eye one that seemed to consume all that of light leaving only his green eyes starring fiercely at the man. “Now tell me where those that call themselves the Red Rebels are located!” Shouted the man; his white gloves now dirty with blood. Hokyo took a deep breath and spit on the man’s boots. “Looks as likes you get dirty like me.” Said Hokyo as a spread of blood dripped from his lips.

The man growled in frustration, letting Hokyo go, he slammed his palms against the bars of the cell, calling for a guard. “Get me that priest, which knows black magic! Do it now! I want to know all of this man’s secrets.” Shouted the man, and the guard ran off in a rush.

Evan was just dabbing his fingers into the holy water to mark the young blond girl, when a guard wearing a Prison uniform bursted in. His armor rattled loudly and obnoxiously throughout the quiet temple, echoing aross the halls.
"Father. You are summoned by my superior."
Evan had a flash of annoyance cross his face.
The soldiers are bad enough, but these prison guard are just unbearable.
He looked upon the young girl and crossed her forehead with holy water.
"You are free to go, my child. May your spirit be in peace." He blessed her, and rose to follow the guard.

Once he had arrived to the cell he could sense the iron taste of blood.
He could tell the warden had been beating the prisoner again.
"What is it? For what have you summoned me?"
However his eyes were fixed upon the prisoner. The virmilion hair had him guessing, but he was unsure whether he was right or not.
Could this man be....?

The soldier that had stayed with Hokyo, seemed calmer that the priest had arrived. The whole time he had sat and stared everywhere but where Hokyo looked. He rose to his feet and unlocked the cell. “I want to know everything this man knows! He a loyal member of the Red Rebels and has important details which could assist us with putting down that old dog of rebels.” The man spoke quickly and annoyed. Hokyo began to hum a rather mild tone. “In other words dear priest they want you to use those dark spells which are circling around inside of you, to make me tell you all my dirty secrets… now that I think of it I could mention the fact I haven’t bathed in nearly three days. That’s a dirty one correct? Or I have slept with several women, including a few of Daton’s Generals daughters?” Hokyo spoke rather calmly, the blood on his face had dried a bit, but for the amount of hits he had taken, his body seemed to be repairing itself quickly.

The guard and soldier glanced at Hokyo in disbelief. It was as though they hadn’t bathed in a few days, it was hard always on the go. Returning to his humming, the soldier growled and looked at the priest. “Can you do this? I will give you anything you’d like if you succeed.” The soldier remarked with a rather note of distaste of such a deal. The guard had left by now, leaving only the three of them. Of course even in such measures Hokyo was overly chained now, he had weights on the wooden pallet, along with two large metal balls attached to his chains on his feet.

Whatever disdain Evan had for this man, he hid from his face.
"My...skills do not work in that manner. And whatever desires that you may have authority to provide me, I already possess. I am sorry, but I cannot ask what you wish." He said coldly.

"However, I should very much like to speak with this man alone. I am certain he would have much to confess as he faces death upon the blade of the army."

Bandi made through the woods of the mountain, pacing himself and watching for possible landmarks. He doubted the rebels would have their base lying in plain sight. He was sure there would be a secret marker directing people to them hidden in plain sight.

Thwat!

Or a trap......
He cursed in his native tongue as hung from the tree by his feet. He had dropped his staff from the fall, and had no means to cut himself down.

Or perhaps it was a good thing. He was sure the Red Rebels would soon arrive and start questioning him. All he had to do was do his best to not have a stroke from the blood rushing to his head.

The soldier glanced between Hokyo and the priest and nodded. Shutting the cell door behind him, he hadn’t been fond of sitting in the cell with that red headed demon. “Don’t allow him to escape!” Said the soldier with a bit of warning in his words. Then he left, leaving the cell to be between Hokyo and the priet.

Hokyo stopped his humming and glanced at the priest. “Rather interesting for you to ask to be alone with me, what would a priest that lies about being holy seek with me? Someone that uses the past of history to find those dark legends and spells in the human soul.” Hokyo spoke rather coldly towards the priest, he didn’t need to see inside of a man, he simply could feel their aura and this one screamed with hatred and pain.

A small boy jumped out with a large spear at Bandi, he stopped when he noticed that the man wasn’t a Daton soldier. “What are you doing here?” He questioned Bandi with the spear pointed at his chest.

Bandi smiled. He was very lucky that he was found so quickly.
"Hokyo sent me. I expressed interest to join the Red Rebels when the soldiers of Daton swarmed us. I was able to escape, and Hokyo had instructed for me to head to these mountains to search you."
He explained.
"I wasn't sure how to find you, but I guess I got lucky. You ARE a member of the rebels, are you not?"

Sci raced through the trees using the shadows to pull himself along moving from shadow to shadow and moving his legs as fast as they could run. He had killed a rather large and fat lord who's men were now chasing him. Sci had no intention of being seen or caught but he had been seen. By a woman to be exact, some one he really hadn't expected, she was either the fat lords wife or his mistress but she screamed like hell when she saw Sci standing over the lords fat a** dead body. Sci could only blink as she looked at him with shock at first but when he put his finger to his mouth to shoo-sh her she screamed at the top of her lungs. Now sci was learning just how good of archers the lords men really were. And they were pretty damn good. If his cloak hadn't been a piece of his own power it would have a few permanent holes in it. About 12 to be exact. Sci knew he shouldn't have taken the job both his human side and the demon side had for once been in agreement over not to do the job. But when the large bag of gold and the food was spread out in-front of him Sci didn't think at all he just signed the contract with his free hand as he shoved food in his mouth. Now he wondered how in the hell his stomach had gotten the better of him this time. But he knew 4 days of nothing but water and bugs had made him ravenous.
Arrows rained down around him as the soldiers got closer they were riding horses that he just couldn't out run. He would have to move to a much further shadow but he needed to see it to get to it and with the full moon shining torwards him the shadows were almost all behind him. Soon he would be moving into open country. Forward meant death but maybe he could double back behind them.

Evan smiled. This one was perceptive.
"I only seek the means to which I may achieve what my heart seeks. Would you say I am wrong? You hurt others to gain what you think is right, do you not?"
He approached him until he was standing in front of him and looked deeply into his eyes.

"And I have not lied. I am holy. I have sworn my oath. I merely studied that which Man has decided one should not. But does not a coin have two sides to it? I am only honest in my duality. many claim this as my heart being....tainted..."

As he spoke, he continued to gaze into his eyes. He was slowly making his way into his psyche.

Yune gave her thanks and quickly took her leave, however she paused outside as she watched her sister. A glint of interest filled Ray’s eyes. She watched the priest leave and placed her hand to her chin. She had a feeling, it was a small feeling, but most of the time she was no wrong. She turned and leaned over. One slender pale finger touched the ground and she began to draw. Within seconds her creation was finished “fallow and report back to me immediately.” The picture, a mouse actually began to grow from her shadow. It rose above the ground and scurried after the priest. “Yunari watch my body, I’m going to fallow” the dark woman moved over to the shade of a tree and leaned against it. Yunari sat in front of her and they both crossed their legs, knees against knees. Carefully they leaned forward till their foreheads were touching and Ray’s body went limp.

A barrier was erected to hide the two from sight but like this, Ray was allowing her to see what the shadows saw, a soul link so to say. Yunari closed her eyes as well and together they saw what the little shadow mouse saw.

It scurried after the priest, fallowing him into what could only be called a prison. A conversation here and a blah there but none of it interested Ray. No she wanted to see what the priest was up to. So the mouse sank into the shadows, fallowing the dark man. More talk from which she didn’t care and ah there it was, the good part. She attached her mouse to one of the shadow covered walls and watched.

The man from before, that one that had touched her sister… he said something about Daton’s generals… did he know about them? Yunari hadn’t caught it but this became something more important. If that red headed man knew about them, then he had to die. Sadly this was more or less no longer about the priest that held her interest. He didn’t know who they were and despite everything, her interests had to be shoved aside for the safety of her sister. But again she heard more information. The word tainted caused her to shiver with glee, but she had to focus for she knew not what abilities that priest had and she had yet to gather the information she wanted.

Sci suddenly realized he could lose them faster if he split up. Smiling he made a double of himself and nodding to the figure they took off in different directions. His two minds made it easy one controlled him as he was and the other took over the double. When the double was killed both minds would have to squabble back inside his head once again. But as sci turned to the right so did the soldiers chasing after the real him and not the fake. They had something that could tell what was really him. Sci stopped and waited blending with a shadow. The group stopped and looked about in the trees a small man with a glowing stone got down from a horse and motioned for the soldiers to stop and search. Sci looked at the stone closely it got brighter then fainter till the little man was beneath the tree Sci was hiding in. The little man was a demon hunter."s**t" sci muttered to himself. Sci had to do something and something quick. So he did the most stupid thing he could think of and the most unexpected. Sci jumped down out of the tree surprising the little man and with a smile sci grabbed the little red stone and stabbed the little man in the throat. Then Sci took off running like a man insane diving into the shadow of a tree as a hail of arrows rained down on where he disappeared.
