((Quin, there are much easier ways to get your attention, believe me. I've discovered a few of them))
Bright eyes watched curiously as small legs carried the child to Quin, staring at the tomb that he spilled mourned so heavily over. The grave that she knew to be the woman they both loved. Once close enough she wrapped her arms around Quin's leg, staring at the tomb before looking up at him, red eyes curious and slightly worried. "Daddy?"

" Trinity.." Kneeling he placed his hand on the childs cheek, forceing his expression to be soothing for her. " What is it baby?" already she looked like her mother.. and he had almost lost her, as well. never again.. his mate, Trinity's mother, had died protecting her.. Quin would let nothing touch his baby girl.

The hand on her cheek was large, strong yet warm. Her own small palms landed on his cheek as she studied him. She knew he was sad, she knew he missed her mother. She felt sorry for him, but she was still glad to at least have her father with her. Wrapping her arms around his neck as much as she could muster she rested her cheek against his shoulder, trying to comfort him. "'is ok, Daddy. I 'ere wit chu."

Closeing his eyes he hugged her to him, fighting off tears at her sweet words. " I know, cub.. and i am happy you are." and.. it was true. his only link was this small demon child, if she was happy.. he would be as well. scooping her up he kissed the end of her nose, saying playfully. " Come.. you can show me how to make cookies again." he knew full well how to.. the child ate through them like, well, a demon.. but it would distract them both.

Giggling at the kiss she dabbed his cheek in return, the small ringing of her laughter escaping as a cookie began to float in front of them for him from the pocket of her dress. The other demons he had, they seemed to think that she didn't know where they hid them, but if there was one thing they could never hide from her, it was cookies. Especially when she was in the wolf form she had inherited from her mother. "I luff chu Daddy."

" I luffs you too, Trinity." Smiling at the cookie he accepted it, eyeing her before asking in a teaseingly suspicious tone. " and where did little Trinity find this at.. you havent been in Tain or Keith's cookie stashs again have you?" It amused him to no end.. the two, his first and second comanders, were puddy in this childs hands.. but they could never figure out how she found their snacks.

Laughing innocently she rested her cheek against his shoulder as she watched him, hiding her face so he wouldn't see her smile. She couldn't help that she knew where they hid the cookies, she never planned on knowing the next location. She just did. And everyone else she could feint innocence, but her father always knew. With one more giggle she finally looked back up at her father, eyes bright. She was having fun, and she liked it. "I di' nuttin'."

Attempting to keep the humor from his features he nodded his head sagely, saying thoughtfully. " Of course not.. but you have a smudge of chocolate right.. here.." reaching up he tickled her side, careful not to let her fall as he chuckled. " Little sneak.. where did they hide them this time?"

Her small hand clung to the arm of his jacket even as she tried to squirm away while in his arms, laughing almost uncontrollably. "Pila'." There was a pillar in one of the main halls that they thought she had no knowledge of, it had a hidden cubby hole a good six feet above her. It did help that she could make the jar come down to her, that was a plus to her powers. Things could come to her if she wanted them. "I sowy Daddy." She wasn't sorry to Keith or Tain, it was their own faults for putting them somewhere she could find.

" Dont be, Cub.. perhaps they will find a better hiding place." He sounded.. smug, and more than a little amused. Gently he ruffled her hair, asking. " maybe we should hide the jar for them?" it would be a good laugh, watching the pair of stiff-faced warriors search high and low for their stash.

Now that sounded like fun to her. Smiling widely she looked over towards the exit, seeing a blur come at them before stopping in front of them as she blinked. The blur became a solid jar, about as big as her torso and half empty. What was left of it was various cookies, Trinity's eyes practically glowing as she reached into the jar and pulled out a snickerdoodle, nibbling it happily as her Dad held her. At this point, this was all she needed. Her father and cookies. "Daddy play?"

His lips twitched, a devilish gleam entering his gaze as he nodded. " of course.. where do you think we should start?" he would always miss his mate.. but, with little Trinity here, he would always be able to smile. he only wished that Yuri would come stay as well, but she remained with her mothers family.

A few small giggles and she slid out of her father's arms, the jar sinking slowly with her until she was holding it and running ahead of Quin. She already had an idea of where to hide them. Making sure that Tain and Keith weren't around she made it seem as if she was going to Quin's chambers, stopping right next to the entrance. On the floor there was a nearly completely invisible outline of a cubby hole, so faint it blended in to the ground. Unless you knew to look for it. Crawling down into the hold she set the cookies along the side, climbing back up and covering it again. Invisible once more. Smiling she made her way back to her dad, seeing the spirit of a large dog roaming near her and her smile faltering as she wrapped her arms around Quin's leg. Dogs scared her yet wolves didn't. Especially big dogs that had passed.

Feeling her concern he laid his hand on the top of her head, a small spurt of mist forming around the ghost before the panther.. Hydro.. hearded the dog to the resting plains. " It is alright, little one."

Glad the dog was gone she squeezed his leg in a hug, making one of her toys appear and hugging it as she looked up at him. A small Medusa like doll, it was her favorite aside from the stuffed demon wolf in her room. Her thoughts traveled back to the jar and she giggled, squeezing the doll again. "Tey no fin' it Daddy. No' tis time."
