Strangly, if you choose to have the scarf to voer 3/4 of your face, items that should be under the scarf appear on top, like the 'stache. Now it looks like I've got a red face.

Also, if you wear the scarf as a bow, and turn around you get a second scarf equipped in the normal way.
Works starting both backwards and forwards. You can do it with the solar head dress too.
