Kiara looked up from the ground in front of her and for a moment allowed herself to desist in her task of dragging along her burdens. Looking at Krai with something of a helpless grin. "This, is my little problem..." She explained hoarsely with a small choking laugh. Seeing the other Hengyokai appear, she dropped her load and sunk to the ground herself, still breathing in shallow rasping breaths. "I ought to be allright." She continued in the same altered husky tone. "I can't say the same for her, I worry I may have ruptured something vital."

Krai held his arm out, forstalling his people from rushing forward, this decision was not a pleasant one for Krai, "... Under other circumstances the likes of a Hyenjin would not be welcome in my camp... but I offered you and yours hospitality, and I will not go back on my oath." Then he gave a very pointed glance at those warriors who stood with him. "Get help for the Hyenjin, I want her taken care of WELL." The others looked unhappy and hefted the limp form gently but with expressions of distaste. Pulling the Banished Hengokai's form to the healer's tents. "Do you need anything else Kiara? Please come join our fire, I will have food brought, you seem in need of company and nourishment."

"Uh...I may need help getting back up.." Kiara replied with another curt laugh that quickly altered into a raspy cough. Upon closer inspection, the purple black telletale marks of her attempted strangling were becoming ever more apparent. "So...I take it the Hyaenjin aren't quite the same as your kin?" Kiara asked as she regained her footing. "Perhaps I should have killed her..." The sorceress muttered. "It's odd though...she seemed...sad..."

Krai quickly offered Kiara a hand, noting the marks on her neck and giving breif instructions to a Kitsune to bring some soothing drinks and compresses. Then his attention reverted back to his guest. "Hyenjin have long since been banished from the rest of the Hengyokai camps, they are warmongers and have little respect for laws and codes. Most have no honor and will attack their own kind, they are violent creatures by nature, even the young." He explained as they walked, leading Kiara to a bench which had been set up before one of the fires. "At least... that is how we have seen them, I have always wanted to beleive there were some that did not act so.... but I have so far been proven wrong." His golden eyes watched the young human woman before him, "What have you seen of this Hyenjin? Perhaps your kind see differently than ours."

Kiara shrugged. "Well, she attacked me, but I've seen plenty of humans do the same. She's thin, for all the muscles she's got, and she was alone. I don't know much about Hengyoukai or Hyenjin ways, but she doesn't seem like that much of a loner for all her antisocial behavior towards us. She's not hunting alone by choice, she's got a look of definite pain...reminds me of a teenager really, something bad happens, and the only way they can deal with it is by making everyone else miserable. She seems kinda like that, she's hurting so she want's everyone else to as well. But that's just my guess, and I have no illusions about her ferocity, she's not a very happy camper." Kiara shrugged again. "I just wonder what happened to her..."

Krai sat quietly for a few moments, "I will have to ponder on this." He informed the young human, at about that moment a small Kitsune wandered up bearing the compresses and drinks Krai had asked for, "Meik can help you tend your ... bruises if you like," He said indicating the Kitsune, and then handed her one of the drinks the smaller Hengyokai bore, "He can also show you to your tent, we have set up a spare one for your use." He then stood bowing before her, "I have much still to do, please excuse me." he rose and then wandered off to arrange the rest of the camp.

Eonis looked around the small camp, treating those that had been injured in the battle before. She had sent her companions on to complete their purpose for being in the area while she decided to stay around to watch and treat those that were injured - as was her way.
Without appearing to be eavesdropping or being too nosy she left her ear open to listen to the happenings around her, listening for footfalls that were different to those she recognised already. A chill ran down her spine and she turned in time to see a Hengokai enter the tent.
"Is there something that I may be of help with?"

Krai stepped into the tent and glanced around, smiling at Eonis as she asked her question. "I am already indebted to you, for both my life and your help with Alkan." He gestured to one of the Tigren that Eonis had helped to treat. walking to the bedside of the Hengyokai in question he glanced over the damage, Alkan had one arm slinged up, but from a cut wound rather than a broken bone, and he had another gash in one shoulder and his forhead. Krai clasped one hand in Alkan's, "He is like a brother to me, and was the first to try an help." Then his gaze returned to Eonis, "Any assistance you request of me is yours."

Eonis flushed in embarrassment. "It is not in my nature to request, I give my assistance free of any charge you need not consider yourself indebted to me at all." She smiled. "If you don't mind, I would like to stay and treat all those that are injured, consider this my only request to you."

Krai smiled, "Consider your request granted, your generosity will not be forgotten." He said solemnly touching two claws to his forhead in a ritualistic movement. Then he bowed deeply, "If there is anything else you might need or want, feel free to ask." Then he rose, hesitating long enough for her to ask if she wanted to.

Eonis hesitated for a brief moment then looked at Krai. "Would it be possible to get something to drink? I'm rather parched since I haven't had anything since leaving my hometown earlier yesterday."
She returned her attention briefly to tending the wounded in her care, waiting for his reply to her request.

Krai smiled flashing a glint of fang. "Easily done." he bowed again and with a short growl-cough sound sent the request, within momets a kitsune hengyokai dashed up bearing two cups, "Water or juice?" Krai inquired still smiling with amusement. When she had settled with her drink of choice Krai pulled up a seat. settling into it and resting his chin on his twined fingers. "There is something that concerns me,... Those creatures who attacked us, We do not yet understand their motives." He spoke slowly almost hesitantly as he watched Eonis consideringly, "We are very indebted to you,... you assisted us greatly against those beings, but I do not know if they would retaliate against you for your assistance...." His gaze never left hers, "Would you be averse to traveling with us? At least until we know more about our attackers... I would not want to force you to do anything, but I feel it would be far safer... .. we could also greatly use your expertise if you are willing." He waited calmly but intently for a reply, uncertain if he might have some how insulted the young woman.

Eonis smiled and nodded. "I would not mind joining you further. I'm rather curious myself as to what these creatures were, I haven't seen anything like this around my hometown, it may give me something further to report on my findings." She looked out of the tent she was in around the camp at the other Hengyokai. Eonis missed her companions already, but knew these were her companions until this was solved, it peaked her curiousity, and though that was something Alerian's usually shouldn't be doing, she had to. She considered it part of her journey, these Hengyokai were in trouble, and all Alerian's helped those in trouble.
Returning her attention to Krai she kept her smile. "Would you happen to have a peach or pineapple juice? If not then I'll gladly take water." Eonis brushed back her hair, grooming herself a little and smoothing down her feathers.

Krai simply nodded at her decision smiling gently to show he was pleased. But he had to pause and blink at her request. "Peach juice I think we have.... but what is 'pine-apple'?" He inquired in mild confusion.
A tigren who had been hovering near-by, one of Krai's liutenants to be precise muttered something under his breath to a passing kitsune, and in a few moments a jar of something yellow-orange was delivered to Geshir's hands. He strode purposefully into the tent to Krai and Eonis, "I believe this is pineapple!" The tigren pronounced proudly,
"That's Mango.... and not juice," Krai corrected with an amused snort.
"Oh... right..." Geshir flicked his tail sheepishly.
