Emily felt heat rush to her cheeks and a grin graced her heart shaped face. She stood up and walked into the water next to him and sat down. Her eyes glittered happily and she said, "Last night at the lake, when you swam away I could of swore you hated me. When I read that note, just those five words, made me probably the happiest girl here."

Emily looked down and fought back tears. "Me too. I didn't even know him and now... he's gone." she stood and looked at Lucas. Seeing someone die was hard, she knew from personal expierience. She could tell from the guilty expresion on his face he thought it was his fault. "Don't blame yourself." she whispered.

Emily took a step back only to fall into the water again. She stood again and grabbed his shoulders, turning him to face her. "Stop. Now. It is not your fault. The thing was to fast for him and for you. It got your arm for the Gods sake. You almost died. Do not blame yourself." she said firmly looking him in the eyes. "Someone let that thing into camp and that means it is their fault not yours."

Emily watched as he walked away, not in the mood to follow him now. The water was up to her knees. It swished around beneath her, small fish swimming in and out from between her legs. A soft sigh came from her mouth as she walked backed to the shore. Emily sat down at the edge of the water and put her head in her hands.

Oliza walked down to the lake. She had her guitar on her shoulder, only because she was bored and didn't really meet anybody. She looked at the girl near the lake. Moving her hair out of her face she moved over towards the girl. "Hey, you seemed depressed about something? I mean the dance just happened so you shouldn't be so upset. Come on, cheer up." She smiled, sitting down near the edge of the water. "Don't mean to sound like a creep or anything. By the way, I'm Oliza." She smiled again, staring at the water.
