The black pup lifted his head, licking his mate on the nose.
"It was just a joke..."

Snarling, Jane nipped her mate on the ear and backed off, allowing him to stand. "You need to have less fun John.....it's liable to get you killed one of these days."

John yelped, instinctively lashing out at his mate with a paw. Quickly the pup hopped to his feet and drew back to what he deemed a safe distance from Jane.
"At least I'd die happy...."
The pup sat with a smirk.

Jane swiftly dodged the paw, stepping back as well. "Are you insinuating that I wouldn't?"

The black pup blinked a moment, trying to process the large word his mate had presented him with. Shaking it off, John smirked.
"I don't know...it is all business with you Jane...you have to cut loose and have some fun every once in a while..."

The pup gave a shrug, moving over to retrieve his glasses.
"I don't know...we could always go into the main meadow and meet some of the neighbors...or play some poker....or..."
John sat back down, pondering further activities they could do.

"Meet the neighbors....just my idea of fun," Jane sighed. Not wishing for John to ponder ideas for extracirricular activities any longer, she agreed. "Alright, lets meet them, but you'd better be good..."

Sighing once more, the female started off after her mate. Hopefully their neihbors wouldn't be too...strange.

As John bounded along, a sudden cry of protest was heard.
"HEY! Watch where yer goin'!"
A small silver and black Talaye pup glared up at the larger one, jabbing him in the side with a small stick.
The larger pup yelped in surprise, quickly backing away from the annoyed Talaye. John rubbed at his side while looking him over.
The mini glared at him, before resuming his work of gnawing on the stick....he was apparently trying to sharpen it.

Jane walked up slowly, observing the scene before her. "What have you gotten yourself into now John?"

"Nothing..."
The black pup replied in his best innocent tone, still rubbing at the sore spot the stick had caused.
The mini meanwhile, kept a close eye on them, never stopping his work on the stick.

Jane sauntered over to the tiny pup, looking him over. "Do you mind telling me what's going on here?"
