Ragna saw this, and tried to get out of the way, but Zai was to fast. Ragna's leg got partly slashed as he back off quickly. "Gah!!" Blood splattered around every where. He land on his right knee and gripped his leg as pain shot through everywhere. He looked at Zai..."Zai!! What are you wanting!!" Ragna gripped his blade as a small blood puddle was forming underneath his leg. Ragna knew the pain was serve but he had to continue to fight Zai...he had to save Sophie..even if it would mean to take his own life. Ragna stood up slowly, as more rage came to Ragna by this wound. Ragna stood there as he moved his right hand outward. As he did this a huge amount of darkness and aura started to pour out out of his right arm.

"Damn it!" Sophie shouted. And walked forward ignoring everything- she got to Ragna's side and pulled him away from Zai and then just stood there in front of him.

"S..S...Sophie..! What are you doing!!" Ragna said as he continued to grab his injured leg.

"No just stay there- you're hurt and this is my fault. I have to deal with him no matter what the outcome. remember what I said."Sophie said as a single tear dripped down her face. Sophie took another step towards Zai.

"N...N..No!! Sophie!!" He ran to her with his injured leg and then grabed her hand and held it."This is my fight to..!! I won't have you face him alone..!" Ragna gritted his teeth as the pain continue to worsen but he didn't care.

Sophie's hand slid out of Ragna's as she started walking closer to Zai.

Ragna pain in his left leg grew and he fell to the ground from the fierce pain." Gahh!!..S..S..Sophie!!" He gripped his blade tightly. "S..S..Sophie come back..!!" Ragna was bout to be in tears, from not only just the pain but of fear of what may to come.

Sophie couldn't respond to Ragna's pleas. She kept slowly walking towards Zai. She could feel the heat increasing with every step she took until she was fairly close to him. Then she stopped and looked into his face.

"Sophie!!!" Ragna weakly stood up with his blade on the ground. His blade was shaking because of how weak Ragna was right now. His only support was his blade to the ground."Sophie!! Stop!!"

"Ragna" she sighed "sit down- move away a bit- i don't know what will happen but you need to stay safe. just let me do what i need to do.ok?"
Sophie turned back to Zai and looked at him- waiting. The heat was starting to get to her- it was getting really hot but she needed to stick with it.

Ragna just stood there, watching Sophie, still weak, still holding onto his blade for support.

It was really hot now and Sophie could barely stand it. but she needed to know... and she needed to finish this or start something new.
Her ears and tail started to drag under the heat and she was covered in sweat now.

Ragna was hesiating...He could bare that Sophie was in front of Zai like that. He knew what Zai wanted to do, but Ragna right now was weak from the attack. Unless his leg were to heal fast enough, he was stuck like that. He gripped his blade even more.

the Brigadier was trying to get his men to help when the fight started and by then he had all of them pointing taser guns at Zai "in the name of the Unified Intelligence Taskforce ... i order you to surrender" the Brigadier said with no anger
