And the Eldrazi aren't so bad, the big ones more so than the spawns.

Some come from the Archenemy Edition, and there's a flea market in pensocola, FL that sells a lot of damn good cards, my buddy helped make my deck, and showed me the store, he's pretty freakin good too, i think he has a worm deck, red/black, blue/black control, hell i think he has just about all decks except for mirrodin and another one i believe, besides i can go by with just one tomb scour( which i got two weeks ago)

The Ginger Dude Some come from the Archenemy Edition, and there's a flea market in pensocola, FL that sells a lot of damn good cards, my buddy helped make my deck, and showed me the store, he's pretty freakin good too, i think he has a worm deck, red/black, blue/black control, hell i think he has just about all decks except for mirrodin and another one i believe, besides i can go by with just one tomb scour( which i got two weeks ago) Oh. I just kind of buy cards online when I really want something. Usually the cheapest option

Alara is getting bumped out of Standard once SoM is released, correct? EDIT: I hear it's going to be a revamp of Mirrodin. Old classics coming back with some rebalancing to fit the new tournament climate.

Yes Alara and M10 are getting kicked out of standard. Some of the most important cards in jund, Bloodbraid Elf, Blightning, Terminate, Blit Blast, and much more are all going.
As for Scars itself... no it's not a revamp... it's going to have a lot of artifacts like Mirrodin, and there may be a few things returning, but it's mostly original stuff.
