Chi listened as Miss Freya and Mr. Dier spoke about formalities. In the back of her mind she wonder how some one could keep track of such a high number. It upset her that people here could remember stuff like that, but a simple bump on the head made her forget most of her whole life. Why couldn't anything in any of the world's be fair. She tried to let it go, but it didn't really work.
"My name's Chiyoko, Miss Freya, but you can call me Chi." Watched the girl walk backwards, this place had to be a dream. She felt better to know Mr. Dier was there next to her, almost comforting. She looked up to give him a small smile in thanks. She looked back at Freya who seemed in shock to her. She,a and the old lady had drank tea at tea time everyday. Though no one had ever invited her to a tea paty.
"Miss Freya I don't have parent...I mean I'm sure I have them, but as a child I lost my memory, and well I don't know who they are, where I lived, or anything really. A very kind old lady found me near the tree which I fell down though the rabbit hole years ago." As Chi spoke she covered her eyes with her bangs. She remembered watching adult's buy their children toys and sweets every time they went into town. Chi never got any of that, she had been thankful for the cloths on her. The old lady gave up a lot to take care of the young girl, with out her Chi might still be nameless and alone.

"I believe that was the day before yesterday, after midday. And it's soon to be well over twenty thousand if you continue to go at the rate you are." Freya commented, sighing lightly at Morris. Glancing back at Chi, she gave a light smile. "As I've said before, sweet Chi, you may call me Freya. No "miss" required."
Though Freya knew these woods quite well and hardly ever tripped, she stumbled at Chi's words. Catching herself before she met the ground, she stopped to turn around. "Oh… oh my. I'm terribly sorry, dear. Sometimes I speak without thinking… I'm so sorry, dear Chi. I hope I didn't offend or make you sad…" Freya said in a sobered voice. Hesitantly (she feared she was treading on thin ice) she held Chi's hand and patted it comfortingly. She actually wanted to grab her in a tight hug, but… it seemed like Freya needed to be very gentle with this girl. As if her usual antics would cause Chi to shatter like glass. "Come along then. I'm sure a spot of tea will do the trick." She let go of Chi's hand, and walked at a decent pace for Chi towards her destination.

"Ah yes. So it was," he laughed as they continued onward. Being the tallest of the group, he spotted Freya's tea party first. The bushes seemed to part of their own accord, revealing the cluttered table and the high-backed chairs that surrounded it. His eyes lit up then, having completely forgotten himself and the conversation as he pulled them more fervently to the edge of the area.
"You made scones, didn't you miss Freya," he noted aloud, his nose tingling from the delicious scent that wafted their way. "Oh, I do love your scones."
Careful not to pull too harshly, Morris brought Chi to the table. Eyes large and roaming, he scanned the many trimmings, the tea pots, cups, plates, spoons, napkins, sugar bowls, everything but the scones. His bandaged fingers twitching distinctly as they half reached for items then abandoned the effort to continue his search.
"Oh my. Where have you run off to?" he asked, letting Chi's hand go to investigate a suspicious basket on one corner. Lifting the napkin that draped over the top, he sighed in relief.
"There you are," he giggled as he picked one of the pastries up. Realizing that he was being terribly rude, the hatter looked at Chi and held the scone out to her.
"You really must try miss Freya's scones, my lady. They are the best around," he offered with a sheepish grin.

Chi looked around once she was let go. "So this is what a tea party is like." She had only see maybe 2 teapots and 4 tea cups that she could remember. "No I'm fine really Mr. Dier." Chi then began to look around the table some more. "You have and extraordinary collection Freya." Chi was in awe, she had watch girls play and have real tea parties, but never was invited. Always they had picked at her for never having a proper tea set. Now she was at a real tea party which was truly the real deal. It was rather bittersweet for her.
"Their was though a sweet old lady that took care of me Freya. We never had much, but we had each other. She passed away last spring." The memory made Chi smile how she did miss the old lady. "So were shall we sit." She gave a bright smile to Freya as she spoke. She was going to be stuck here with them until she found a way home. Might as well make friends.
((please tell me I'm not nerd for having several toy tea sets as a child. And used them, and still has them.))

Freya gave a small smile. "You also never fail to be able to tell when I've been baking. They're quite fresh. Baked them just this morn." Stepping into the clearing, she let out a small giggle as Morris went straight for the scones. "Oh, do stop. They can't possibly be that good. I honestly think the royal baker makes better ones…" Her cheeks colored a soft pink as she began to busy herself with the dishes.
"Oh dear oh dear… this table is just too big for the three of us. I'm sorry, but could both of you darlings step back a bit? I must move this." With that, Freya lifted the long, rectangular table (which seemed quite heavy) to reveal a smaller round table sitting right underneath it. "There you are! Now! Where is that tablecloth for you?" Setting the bigger table to the side with a thunderous thump (sounded much more like a crash), she whisked a cream colored tablecloth over the round table. Straightening it, she clapped her hands and grinned once it was done. "Much better!"
"Clean cup, clean cup, mooooooovveeee down!" Freya sang gaily, setting the table with the right tableware (that somehow did not break by a miracle and Wonderland Physics). "Oh! Do sit down, both of you! I'm just resetting the table and whatnot. Tea will be coming shortly!" Picking up three chairs, she motioned to Chi and Morris to sit down at the table while she busied herself.[[Lol, I felt the need to have Freya somehow superhumanly strong. Like FMA's Armstrong's little sister. xD And there's a Disney Wonderland/WCMI reference there. I'm sure you'll find it :3 Oh! and you're not a nerd for having tea sets as a kid. I had a lot of them, and used to play with them a lot. I believe most of my tea sets have been passed down to my younger cousins though, but I still have some play picnic tableware]]

(sorry about that. I do believe I got sidetracked. XD) "He maybe be the royal baker, but he doesn't put love in his scones like you do miss Freya," he chided playfully. "It makes them far more delectable." His eyes glittered with glee as the rabbit bounced about getting the table ready.
"Don't mind if I do," Morris laughed as he snatched the basket before Freya threw the table and took one of the offered seats. He motioned for Chi to follow suit, then bounced back out of his seat.
"Forgive my rudeness my lady. I believe that miss Freya's scones have gone and scattered my manners. Please, have a seat," he encouraged, an apologetic smile on his face. With a flick of his wrist, the hatter pulled out a chair and offered it for her like a true gentlemen.

"No need to apologize Mr. Dier all is well." Chi said as she sat at the table smoothing her dress down as she sat. "Really though what does one do at a tea party in this place. Excuse me for not knowing the proper name. I have forgotten up until now." She waited for Freya to be seated not wanting to be rude to the hostess. She watched Mr. Deir with the scones her hands placed in her lap.
"I still rather have a fondness for your style of clothing Mr. Dier." She said in almost a perplex admiring voice. No one back home ever dressed in such a wonderfully strange fashion as the people here. She love it, and it made her feel not so strange in her fashion. Her clothes were loud and she was soft, a last gift form the kind old lady. She looked back at the table as she looked at her tea cup. "I feel as though I've been here before. I'm not really sure when, just it feels familiar almost like a dream."

Coming back to the table with the tea, she smacked his shoulder playfully. "Oh, Morris, you're such a horrible flatterer! Really now, sweet Chi, wouldn't you agree?" she giggled, setting down butter and jam for the scones, cream and sugar, and the tea pot itself. Pouring three cups of tea, she gently set the teacups before her guests before sitting down herself.
"Why, dear Chi, to answer your question, one does what one more or less wants to at a tea party here. Some are just a time to chat with old friends, while others are full-on parties. I myself prefer the sit-and-chat ones, but I guess I have had one or two of the big parties." Freya replied to the girl, helping herself to a scone. Biting into it, she savored the flavor before jumping back into the chat. "Perhaps you have visited before, but not in a dream. You do give off a familiar presence, to me at least. Doesn't she, Morris?"

"Why miss Freya! I do apologize for being so horrible!" Morris cried in glee. Then with a wink he added,"I shall have to try harder to be a better flatterer in future." Giggling again, more to himself than for anyone's benefit, he lifted a scone up and took a long appreciative sniff before taking a large bite off the end. Crumbs toppled along the many straps of his overcoat, his other hand batting them away by habit as he let a soft moan escape.
"Absolutely heavenly," he sighed. His eyes, which had fallen to half mast in pleasure, snapped open at hearing Chi's compliment. Swallowing his bite, he coughed a bit on the dry dough and had to reach urgently for his tea to help wash it down. His face blushed a little when he finally managed to catch his breath.
"You really like my clothes?" he asked abashedly. He looked down at himself and went quiet for a moment. "You are too kind my lady. These are but rags compared to their formal glory. I'm ashamed to say that my urge to create fine clothing has died away. These are all that remain of my craft. And they like me, are falling apart."
Taking another sip of tea, he nervously coughed to clear his throat. Then a smile, small at first but growing all the while, appeared on his face as he thought about miss Freya's notion. Tipping his hat back so the light fell on more of his face, he closed his eyes and laughed again softly.
"Now that you mention it, miss Freya, she does feel familiar. Like I have known her before now. I was told to go meet her and the notion seemed right, then too." Letting one eye slip open, he looked sidelong at Chi. "Do you feel that way too, my lady?"

Chi merely nodded in agreement with Freya's comment on Mr. Dier. She was slowly coming out of her shell, but it was still there. She smiled none the less, and learned what one did at a tea party. She slightly felt at home here, if not just at comfort. The girl didn't have to worry, about something harming her, still just like a dream just to real.
She slipped a stay hair behind her ear as she though about the question. "I just," she paused, "I feel that being here drinking tea, it feels right. That I don't need to be anywhere else other then here." She played with the tea cup in her hands. "I lost my memories when I was 7, then I was found not far from the hole I fell in to get here." She traced the paint with her finger, she wasn't to sure anymore about this place.
"I can she myself here as a child, but only in this same spot. It wouldn't make sense that nothing would have changed in 10 years, now would it. Then again nothing else makes sense, so why would this." She gave a gentle smile, as she went back to drinking her tea in quietness. Truthfully she was almost sure no that she had been here before. She could she herself as a child, in this same seat with the same people. Chi knew something like that wasn't even possible so why even try to think it was. She had some hope to find the memories that she never missed.

Her eyes widened as she heard Chi speak. "A child, you say? Tell me, do you remember if you had this same hair style when you first came?" Tilting her head to the side and knocking it lightly with her fist, Freya observed Chi quietly before bursting out. "Oh! I'm sorry if I make you feel uncomfortable, dearie. It's just… for some odd reason, my memory's failing me at the moment. Need to give it a jolt in order for it to work again." She flashed Chi a smile before taking a sip of tea, giggling as she set the tea cup down. "Sweet Chi, does anything have to make sense? Anyway, it's starting to come back to me… I do believe one of my first tea parties had a small girl -her hair was a bit blonder than yours- and…" she gasped as a realization struck her. "Morris! Could this be Alice? THE Alice?" she asked him, slamming her hands on the table as she stood up suddenly.[[Sorry, this was inspired by seeing the 2010 Alice last night, so… yeah. Oh, I wish we had more people to play with! Like a Chesshie and a Queen of Hearts D: Do you think we could try this in the Barton Town? Just wondering, since it's your role-play, Keyblade.]]

(Hahaha, I love that movie. ^'^ I use it for inspiration throughout this whole thing. Barton Town?) "THE Alice? No no, my dear miss Freya. This is Chi," he tried to explain softly as he set his cup on the table. "She cannot be two people at once." Sitting back in his chair, the hatter went silent then.
"Unless. . . unless she's a spy." He said it very matter of fact, as if that would easily answer the question. He also got bright eyed and excited at the idea of knowing a spy.
"But, I don't think spy's sit around at tea parties, so she can't be a spy." And just like that he deflated again, slumping in his seat in disappointment. His hat drooped forward over his eyes, blocking them from view.

Chi's head spun at all the questions and comments. "I'm not a spy, and I've never even heard a this Alice character. sure my hair got darker, form not being in the sun as much." She was confused, and a little scared. None of her memories were coming back anymore. "A photo, you couldn't have a photo of your tea party all those years ago could you." She didn't remember when she had stood up almost knocking her chair over, but she did slide back down into her seat.
"Even if I did come here before, like I said I wouldn't remember. So I guess it really doesn't matter. I'm sure you two haven't been waiting for me for the past 10 years. I mean how could anyone believe someone would come back after 10 years of waiting." Her words were rather harsh, but they where quiet. Then again they still held daggers. She felt lost and confused, and just wished for things to make sense again.

She rolled her eyes. "I din't mean that, Morris. I meant," she lowered her voice so that only he could hear her "do you think Sweet Chi could be an 'Alice'?" Coughing lightly, Freya turned to the frightened and confused girl. "I'm sorry, dearie. Seems some of my march madness is still with me. I really didn't mean to frighten you. Will you forgive this rude hostess?" she said, bowing her head in apology. "And my dear, I'm sorry, but I don't believe I would have this… 'photo' that you speak of." Looking into Chi's eyes, she answered her last harsh question. "Some things in life are worth just waiting for. If you have faith in it, then it will surely come true one day." Reaching out carefully, Freya gently patted Chi's hand. "Again, I apologize, but I won't be offended if you walk away. I am, after all, the one to blame for prompting you were someone you aren't."

"I know what a photo is my dear. But it has been years since the Red Queen has allowed them to be made," the hatter groaned softly. "She didn't like the way they made her head look big." A smile quirked his lips at the memory of the woman rampaging about ordering photographers heads to be taken off. It was sad for them, but it mattered little. "A photo only showed what was put in front of it, and the Red Queen had a lobe larger than a Beldorken in mating season," he murmured. Eyes going wide, he looked around him in wonder.
"Oh my. Did I say that out loud?" he asked. Thoroughly embarrassed, he shuffled in his seat and apologized profusely to both ladies. "It was improper of me. Please do not take offense."
