Leon increased his glare at Fenix, "Then why try to trick me with all that 'friendly' chatter? You recognized my drawings..you've been messing with me so I'd trust you in the shift.." His voice was a bit shaky, his overall stance was defensive, clutching his PSP and sketchbook tightly in one hand as his other hand grasped his shirt over his right lung as if he was shielding it. Instead of taking deep breaths he was starting to hyperventilate as he slowly backed away a few steps.

Caddy
Caddy stirred in her bed, turning from side to side as she wished for sleep to overcome her once more. Being awake and back in touch with reality is what she feared more than anything. The shift was her place where she could be free. Her escape. Without it, she would have lost her mind; even more so than she already had. She pushed herself out of bed, pulled on some jeans and a fashionably tattered t-shirt, before making her way downstairs. The scent of honey roasted coffee, and freshly baked cinnamon buns swirled through the house, leaving the trace of her mother's cooking in every room. Sighing to herself, Caddy snatched one of the danishes and a to-go-cup of coffee her mother had already placed on the counter for her. A creek along the floorboards from the adjacent room signaled to Caddy that her father had yet to leave for work. Desperate to get out, she walked quickly over to the front door, taking her guitar case and messenger bag that lay beside it, and opened the door. But it was too late. He saw her. Like a deer in headlights, Caddy froze. She could either risk going out without saying a word and suffer the consequences later or explain why she was in such a hurry to leave. Either way the outcome could potentially hurt her in the long run. I gotta get out of here, she thought to herself. Slamming the door behind her, Caddy picked up her pace and began running down the street and out of her neighborhood. All she could concentrate on and all she wanted to concentrate on was the wind pushing her hair back...

Things were getting out of hand fast and Fenix wasn't sure what to do, so he did something unexpected. Instead of returning words of comfort, he turned around and started walking. "Look, if I did see you in the shift, our conversations would be much less pointed-finger and beating around the fact we know about the shift" and then it hit him, a realization he wouldn't have said before. He quickly turned around and faced the boys. "Tell you what, we meet back here right when you fall asleep, and then we can go back to one of our rooms to talk. Nothing ever enters the room of rest of a dreamer." After saying what he had to, he took off running back to his house, around the corner and.. *WHAM* right into a girl who had also been running. "Shoot, I'm so sorry, really really sorry, are you alright?" She looked distressed, but he wasn't sure if it was because he just ran into her. He held out a hand to help her up. "Um.. hey, I'm Fenix"

Lucia was finally at home, she had spent most of her time exploring outside to avoid the paranoid person called her aunt. Though when she got home she was scolded like a kid, again, Lucia played back what she heard. It's too dangerous blah, blah, blah, what if someone jumped you yadda, yadda, And you wonder why I worry! Same old, same old. Lucia was now sitting on her bed, her ipod in her ears and her nose in a comic book. Despite her aunts wishes Lucia bought comics and read them when she was forced inside. You would think she was tired but she wasn't, she was jarred up and ready to go! As Lucia read her eyes grew wide at the scene where the bad guy almost got The Punisher then squealed and got even more into it. Sadly the comic ended to soon an dLucia had not yet bought the one after it "Noooooooo! I don't want it to end there! I wasn't at the best part!!!" She whined "Dang it! Lemme!!!" She whined over the blaring music in her ears. Her aunt rushed in Lucia's room, a bottle of pills in her hand- wait- pills!? Lucia ripped her iPod from her ears and jerked to the standing position on her bed, clutching her comic book hoping maybe the Punisher would come out and save her. For the next ten minutes all people could hears was the wrestling match between Lucia and her aunt yelling and shouting. Until Lucia had mangaed to get away and escape through the second story window and climb down to safety. That woman was WAY too much sometimes. Lucia sighed with a small put was she walked in her monster feet slippers and PJs, spitting the pill she'd been forced into the street. ~~~ Ian sat in his room, reading over some of his old Shakesphere plays he'd had for a while. Downstairs her could hear Bryan laughing at some comedy Ian had randomly selected from the movie rental store. Could he be any louder? But Ian smiled at the noise, it kept him distracted from the fact he was losing his mind slowly and that he was still failing on finding a way to cure it. Looking at the clock on his wall he sighed softly, grandpa was supposed to call an hour ago about the parts for the engine of that Viper they were working on. Running a stray hand through his hair he chuckled, he was probably too busy flirting with the woman at the coffee shop. What scared Ian was how a sixty something year old man could still score a few dates and how Bryan was constantly rejected. Then when Ian teased he was reminded he'd been single since he was sixteen when his date dumped him at the prom. Not his fault! She was just more into other- Okay what am I doing? I was supposed to be going over the Viper, not doing this! Jeeze get your head on straight! He mentally scolded as he flopped his book on his desk.

Caddy
It occured to Caddy that she should run with her eyes open when she ran straight into a blonde haired guy. Toppling to the ground, and scraping the palms of her hands on the pavement, Caddy scrambled to get herself back onto her feet. "No, it's fine. I should have watched where I was going. Sorry." She could feel the tension in her voice, and immediately tried to pull back on her mask. Looking back up at Fenix, she took the hand that he offered, and introduced herself as well, "I'm Caddy." She brushed off her jeans before picking back up her messenger bag and guitar case. "It was nice to meet you, and I'm really sorry, but I have to get going." I don't even know where I'm going yet..the library? coffee shop? a random store? Sigh. Where to go? Where to go? Caddy could feel a migrane coming on. She raised her hand to her forhead and rested against it. Not already...

Sally was sort of leading Serrenedy along by a choclate bar.b "Sally, this isn't FAIR. Common, gimmie" She looked up "People" She cried and gabbed her sister before she could bump into the people. Serrenedy looked at Felix and Caddy. "Sorry, I have to keep her awake until I'm tired, didn't mean to almost hit you guys" Sally said crypticly.

(Remember, it's still morning yet Serrenedy)
She seemed frantic, troubled possibly. Fenix couldn't help but try and offer some assistance. "Well.. I'd advise you not to go into the park, I just came from there.. some guy was going on about nightmares and whatnot, he looked rather, distressed." He gave out a sigh. "Would you mind if I escorted you to your destination? I really don't have anything to do." He tried to lend an ear back toward the park, but he couldn't hear anything from where he was. Not sure if that's a good sign or not As the two girls walked by them, Fenix Looked them all over. Her implication of "awake" and "tired" made him wonder if they too, were dreamers, but it would be best not to reveal the fact until a more appropriate time. "Hey, I'm Fenix. I'd love to chat, but my friend and I were just going for a walk" He looked over at caddy. "Isn't that right? When I wanted to go for a walk, I didn't think I'd run into so many... people. His thoughts nagged at him.

Nightmares, huh? Intrigued, Caddy considered running past Fenix and straight for the park. She had always heard stories that there were others like her, others who were trapped in the shift, but never had she gotten to meet one. A year in, and she never saw another living person pass by her. Not once. However, Fenix's offer to escort her prevented her from doing so. As far as she knew, Fenix was an innocent soul who didn't need to hear of her monsters. "Um...sure," she smiled. "I was just going to get some coffee. Stupid. You have a cup of coffee in your bag. Forget it's there? You're clumsy. Drop it. No. Too obvious. Fml. At least you finished the cinnamon bun in like three bites. Fatty. Why am I still talking to myself? How long as it been quiet between us. Someone shoot me. Trying to cease her racing thoughts, Caddy began walking towards the Starbucks on 3rd Street and Connor Ave. She had five blocks to try to make some sort of conversation or leave it as an awkward situation. What to talk about? Tv? Don't watch enough to talk about it. News? Don't know enough. Music? She glanced over at Fenix. Wait for him to say something..if he ever does.

"Walk?" Sally perked her head to the side, tring to figure out why someone would walk for coffie, it was bad for you, wasn't it? Serrenedy snached the candy bar back. "YAY SUGAR!!! Hey, that makes it three days on HIGH. Sleepy?" She started to devour her prize, danceing in little circles. "Not even close" Sally shot back before turning to the new people. "Coffie? COOOL Can we come? We have nowhere to go."Serrenedy chirped. "I thought we were picking up mold samples to study later?" Serrenedy cringed. "We have nowhere fun to go"She ammended..."Caffine is FUN, so is sugar" She giggled a bit derangedly. Sally hit her hand to her forehead

[If you were to read the entire post you would have seen that they do have a destination. The coffee shop which I even gave an address for and a estimation of how far away it was. Also, thoughts are italicized]

Leon finally calmed down a little when Fenix left and managed to think through what the guy had said about meeting in the shift later.. Leon glanced over at the boy, still wary of him too, but was distracted by the beeping from his watch, "Crap, I'm gonna be late..." he muttered before running off across the street and down a block to the game store he worked at. Now that his mind was coming out of paranoia mode he started mentally hitting himself because of how he acted toward those two from the park..calling them nightmares.. he already knew nightmares weren't alive outside the shift anymore. A familiar voice brought him out of his thoughts. ~"Hey Leon, you're the last one to arrive so you have to get breakfast for us."~ said one of his co-workers..Matt or Mark...something starting with M. Leon sighed lightly, it wasn't unusual for him to be the last one.. so he got the money from them and headed over to the cafe/coffee shop that the two wanted their food and drinks from. Leon flipped open his sketchbook and kept working on the creature he started earlier, wondering if he ould do something to just knock himself out so he could get into the shift instead of hang around in the regular world all day and make a fool of himself.

Serrenedy started walking towards the coffie shop. Sally pulled out a cupcake to divert her attention as they headed to a cafe, FAR away from coffie. "there are seriously NO WORDS for how evil this is" Ren protested as the younger girl ran in front of her. Suddenly Serrenedy stopped running. Sally cursed. The only thing to bring her sister from a sweet, was a sweetheart. Sally walked over to see a boy headed in the direction of the cafe, with his head in a book. "Are you going to speak or just oggle?"Her voice startled Serrenedy. "Oggle...oggleing's good.""Well you better stop, he's coming over here. Serrenedy yelped and hid behing her younger sister, still looking at Leon over the girl's hair

Leon finished adding the last few lines of the creatures eyes and looked over the newly finished sketch..again it was a good likeness of one of the Fiends from the shift.. he sighed lightly as he stared at the drawing, both hating and loving the shift and everything in it. Leon was so wrapped up in his thoughts that he didn't even notice the two girls until he finally stopped to glance around at where he was to make sure he didn't pass the cafe that he was supposed to get a sandwich and croissant at. He raised a brow as he was the two girls, one trying to hide behind the other while staring at him, which really wasn't good right now but he forced himself to stay calm. "..what are you doing..?" he asked since the one 'hiding' looked taller then the the other girl.

Serrenedy chirped "EPP, um...nothing, I mean...um...thre was a... thing...but...I got it!!!...and...umm....NOTHING" She colasped into breathless giggles. Sally scoffed. "My sister thinks your hot" She informed the man "And she's high on sugar so she's having trouble with sentences." Serrenedy lept to her feet, Grabbing Sally by her mouth and atempting to drag her away. "LIES, and fear and..."AS she trailed off, sally got free and walked up to him. "Either way, looks like we're both going for brunch, tag along? She's probaly going to end up following you if you leave.""SHUT UP"Serrenedy managed, one sentence.

Leon just looked a bit confused for a moment before shrugging, he never met anyone that thought he was hot..that he knew of anyway, which almost got him started thinking about how girls acted around them until the calmer girl mentioned the sugar-frenzied one would follow him if he didn't go with them. "I'm actually just getting something for my co-workers, but I guess we can go together.." he said, mostly because he didn't want someone stalking him.
