Aurion was sitting with his fellow knight friends, Emma, Prince Jasson and Olaju. He had sat down with them and explained what his power was like as a Fae and how he used it. When he asked them if he might practice with them using it, Emma was all too eager to volunteer.
" Mithros.. of course I'll let you use my memroies Aurion. You are my best friend after all.. and if I can help you out, then damn it I sure will." Emma said, clapping Aurion on the shoulder.
Prince Jasson, not one to be left out spoke up as well. " Me too, Aurion. If not for you, those bullies would have never left us alone. You gave all of us the courage to stand up against them." He said ina his usual reagl way of wording things.
Olaju was the one whom hesitated the longest. He was a bit wary of this idea, having a few memories of his past that he would rather not have others know about, but he did not want to be the odd one out. " I suppose you can use me too Aurion.." He said after a few moments of hesitation.
Aurion shook his head at Olaju. " I am not going to force you into this Olaju. Why not observe how this will work then you can decide. I am not going to be any less your friend if you refuse, tis in your right to do." He said to his friend with a smile.
The fae then turned to to Emma and held out a hand. " Lady Knight.. are you ready to begin?" he asked, smiling charmingly.
Emma blushed and slid her gloved hand in his. " Anytime you are, Sir Aurion." She said, a smile upon her lips as she felt an odd tingling of power surging through their clasped hands.
A feild. A field full of flowers. This is where the memory began as a tiny girl was rolling among them. She was then chasing an older boy whom looked quite a bit like her. " Aaron.. wait for me!" Little emma shouted, running after the older boy.
Aaron turned and smiled as he held out his hand. " Come on Emma... the griffins just made a new nest on the cliff top, I wanna go see it." he said to her as he pulled her along.
They reached the nest and looked facinated at the large eggs that were sitting there. " I want to touch one.." Aaron said, reaching out a hand. " No brother.. they might get mad.." Emma said rather worryingly.
No soon had she said this than a large orange bird darted down and screeched loudly and Emma tumbled down the cliffside, landing in a avine sevral feet down as she felt the pain of a busted arm and both her legs. She heard screams of pain coming from the top of the cliff and what sounded like flesh tearing apart.
Later that night, her father and his sholders discovered the remains of her older brother Aaron, his spine severed from his body and his carass was torn to shreds by the great Immortals. Emma had began to cry as Aurion let go of her hand. She had forgotten that old memory but somehow, Aurion had pulled it from her and through his touch, it had returned to her. Oh how could she forget her dear brother?!
Aurion looked upset at her tears, but knew well why they were flowing like water from her eyes. " Emma.. I'm sorry.." he whispered, reaching out to wipe her tears away.
Emma's next motion was unexpected as she leaned forward and kissed him softly upon the lips. " Thank you Aurion... you helped me remember something important."
The same thing occured with prince Jasson, ashe relived a memory of his siblings and himself being snactched from their nursery and nearly killed by A Stormwing before a knight saved their life.
Olaju chose to not have Aurion use him for now. After this was all said and done, Aurion returned to his room in the labs and wrote the experience down in his journal before going to bed that night.
