Surion looked up at the source of the greeting "Hi Rhine.." he greeted the male, he wasnt entirely sure what else to say at the moment besides the greeting. He moves a hand to stroke the dragonette's back who in turn nuzzles into his hand. He didnt even know Rhine was there, but it made sense if keeta was having a family outting that he WAS there.

As much as Rhine wanted to see and to talk to Surion... now that he was face to face with him he was suddenly angry. Didn't Surion have an ounce of compassion. He knew that his mother would have not left Surion out. He snorted and then sighed and decided to just let things ride out.
"You been here long?" He asked in attempts to figure out how long he'd been away. He was trying his best not to sound protective of his wife but it was just something that had recently started happening.

"I'd say Surion's been here the better part of an hour, Rhine..." Keeta said, an edge to her voice, sensing her husband's mood shift. She didn't like where this was going. This morning had gone from happy to nostalgic, to sad and now...tense.
"I just finished updating him on what's been going on in our lives of late...it's hard for anyone to hear...." She leveled her eyes at Rhine, the message in them clear. He's just sorting through everything he just heard, give him a break. He's in pain too.

He motions towards Keeta "She's right, about an hour or so, kinda catching up on everything" he tried to keep the tension out of his voice, tried to keep it calm as he could though the sadness crept through without a problem. He glances down at Senti, says nothing, aloud at least and a moment later the head of the dragonette bobs a little and it scitters off, stops about half way tot he water and looks over its shoulder at the trio then continues to rejoin the kids and kuyl

Rhine plopped down next to his wife. Careful of his tail- last thing he needed was to become undone towel wise. He ran his fingers through his hair. "He shouldn't have had any catching up to do. Surion was another son to Ceres'... she'd have left a note just before the mirror shattered like she did for the rest of us," he sighed. He just didn't know anymore...
Natalia glanced over at her mom and dad and then back towards the tots. They would be just fine for a moment. She was curious about the man that was with this. Something tugged at her insides. It was like she knew him... He did have blue hair. Was he family?

Keeta put her hands up in a defensive motion, not like she thought anyone was going to do something to her. It was more that she didn't want to be accused of doing anything out of line.
"I won't pretend to know what things Ceres would or would not have done. You grew up with her....but whether she did or did not leave a note, Surion didn't know until now..." Keeta was about to say something else, but then she noticed Natalia approaching. She tried to subtly get Rhine and Surion's attention, making them aware that their conversation could not be so candid now.
"Having fun Natalia?" Keeta said with a smile. "You seem to be keeping Joel and Camille happy. I appreciate it."

Surion looked towards the young girl walking towards them hearing Keeta's voice, though the words of Rhine were ringing in his ears 'Surion was another son to Ceres... she'd have left a note ' He never got it, now he had to add confusion to add to his emotions.
"Hi Nat" he greets her and gives her a soft smile glad to see her. And glad to see her as a human form once more

"Surion?" Natalia question when she was close enough to get a good look at the blue haired male. She slowly knelt down to reach out for the other dragonette. She liked this one most and was disappointed when he'd scampered off. "He likes lunch meat," she said out of the blue. She didn't know how she knew she just knew.
Rhine looked from Surion to Natalia. He tried not to look surprised. But it was a little hard considering that Natalia did some out of the ordinary things... He glanced back at Keeta, and just smiled.

Keeta just shrugged and returned the smile, before turning her attention to the two smaller children. With Natalia over here, she wanted to keep a closer eye on them. She knew the dragonettes were watching, but they couldn't pull a child out of the water if they had to.

"You're right, he does like his lunch meat... he'll leave everything else behind." He called at the dragonette who missed Nat in the link between them. The dragonette stops and looks up then hurries back towards them and to Nat chittering at her.
Surion's mind was half there as he spoke, it was in a million places all at once, but he hid it from Nat

She reached into the picnic basket and grabbed the container that had her sandwich. She didn't like meat, so she wouldn't miss it. This way they had to give her fruit and the things she liked. "Share," she grinned as she put the meat on the lid. "I should get back," she said as she glanced over her shoulder.
"How did you manage?" Rhine asked Surion the moment Natalia was far enough off to not hear what he was asking or saying.

Keeta watched Natalia until she had rejoined the children, smiling as Joel and Camille each gave her a hug and started to run around, trying to get Natalia to chase them. Her attention was directed back to the conversation at hand though, by her husband's question.
Her brow furrowed in confusion, as Rhine's question didn't make sense to her, but maybe Surion would take something from it that she couldn't. Either way, she didn't inturrupt, waiting to see what their friend would say in reply.

"Manage? If you mean memory, for a long time I didnt know much, later strived to fill the gap, if you mean loss of people... still have a hard time, but I'll get there eventually.. it's hard" He sighs "especially when it seems never ending" he watches the innocent kids wishing he was in their shoes

"It all seems never ending," Rhine said in short tones. The tip of his tail lifted and smacked in the sand. His discomfort was obvious. He loved the beach for the water but hated it for the sand and the salt.
"I just don't know which problem to start fixing first," he sighed and ruffled his hair. "My sister, my sister, or my sisters..." he sighed and ran his fingers through his hair. "I know Keeta and myself will work things out. We always do. We always manage. I just wish it would stop raining."
He leaned back on his elbows. He instinctively moved his towel over the toweled area of his body. He wasn't about to risk it with kids around. But in honesty he was becoming more and more fidgety. He would be able to hand the salt and sand to much longer... at least not without water involved.

Keeta watched Rhine as he got more figity and agitated. She knew what the beach sand did to his skin, but he would get up and leave when he was ready. Her gaze traveled towards Surion. She still wasn't sure what they were talking about, but from what she could figure, it seemed that Surion had had memory loss issues at one point, much like Natalia. This was not the time nor place to ask though. She would bring it up with Rhine later.
