Aludra could tell that he'd hit the nail on the head with pulling that little trinket out. That slight smirk returned, though faltered only slightly when her fingers wrapped around it, an indefinite answer falling from her lips. Keeping up the act until he was otherwise instructed, he chuckled good-naturedly, moving toward her a bit to keep her grip on the object slack, though trying to appear as though it was, obviously, to get closer to her.

"Oh, I certainly wouldn't mind that," he growled softly before the strangest feeling hit him, a heavy feeling that somehow managed to make him more nervous than he was, hair standing on end. Feeling as though he could crawl out of his skin with such a miasma pervading the very essence of this place, it was all he could do to not completely break character and curl up in a more characteristic ball in the corner, flicker himself out of visibility against a threat that he could only feel.

But it was just Vampy. He knew that and he did what he could to tell himself that over and over again. It was just Vampy and this was part of the plan. As long as he continued to recite that in his head, he was at least working on staying... less like himself. The smile he forced onto his face was one of an undetermined intent and he tugged the woman closer by the pendant, the smile looking a bit bemused now. "Then again, I'm not so sure. This pendant is certainly a precious thing, and having to part with it and then some is just a little too high for me."

Charolette was having a tough time trying to decide, was it worth trying to lure the boy away? Or should she run? That feeling of dread the opresent aura that seemed to want to eat her alive, those warning signs were enough to make any creature smart enough to flee.

She twitched her body wanting to run, yes...run you fool. To hide in a small dark place and wait out whatever it was..to pass. BUt it only seemed to grow more feirce.

Her hand shook slightly, she was trying so hard to keep up the act, she REALLY wanted this boy apart of her collection the pendant was just a bonus really.

"How 'bout we go out...side...?" She ventured trying to keep cool even if her very body screamed for her to run.

Charolette was more than happy to start moving away, once outside she would need to make sure that she took care of the boy quickly, her body was trying so hard to keep her own aura concealed but that flight nature of hers...it wanted to send out little distress signals. The aura seemed to follow after them...of course that was just her imagination.

The closer they got to the door the harder it was for her to not just wrench the pendant out of the boy's grasp heft him over a shoulder and run for it. But Duncan was there...and even if he was a half breed she didn't exactly want to have him chasing her down. She had seen what Duncan did to people he didn't like.

Her body was betraying her nervousness as her free hand shook as she went to push open the door that lead to the back side of the building, she managed to release her holdo n the pendant if only because she HAD to. She pushed Aludra in front of her so he went out first.

Now that the woman had dropped her own ploy, Aludra didn't see anything wrong with dropping his. Of course, that didn't mean expressing any kind of weakness. Rather, he snapped moreso into the awareness that he'd been taught at the Facility, running through everything that he knew how to do from various skills classes and other things as quickly as he could. He'd never really been in a situation like this, one where he wasn't sure of what was going to happen, or how bad it was going to be.

For that matter, considering what he'd gotten himself into, death was all-too-possible, wasn't it?

His eyes got a bit wider at that thought, red seeping in to consume the green portion of his irises as panic attempted to seize him. His throat closed up, mind racing and time seeming to travel too fast and too slow at the same time. He took in the surroundings almost instantly, regretted his lack of a weapon, realized that a weapon would have been too noticeable in this situation, and grasped hold of his plan of action all in the moment that he passed the doorway.

More smoothly than he thought that he could move, the Humility spawn spun himself around the edge of the door, in that instant slamming every possible barrier he could around himself and his aura, pulling the disappearing act that he'd learned as a child and making himself virtually invisible, pressing himself hard against the wall behind the door, not even daring to breathe.

Needless to say that Almas was a little startled when Aludra seemed to just... vanish, leaving him alone standing between the demoness and her freedom. He watched as she seemed to be looking around the area for a moment, likely realizing what was going on, and then she was heading in his direction. He took in a deep breath before moving to stand between the woman and her freedom. He puffed up to make himself look as big as possible and hoped that the demon perfume along with his many scars helped in making him seem as though he were a legitimate threat to her. He had to slow the woman down, to succeed in keeping her here so that they could catch her and bring her back to the Labs with them.

The only problem being was that he didn't know if he were supposed to battle it out with the woman himself or if Vampy were going to appear to back him up, he was more then a little uncertain now that Aludra was gone. He supposed that if he had the power to disappear he would have done the same thing in such a situation.

"There is no where left for you to run, Demoness." He said, lifting his arms to hold them up to his sides as though forbidding her to leave the alleyway. He kept telling himself over and over again to do what he could to make himself appear to be bigger, more intimidating, to mimic what a demon might do when he crossed paths with another demon. Part of him was pretty sure this was going to end badly on his end but he would still do his best not to fail...

Almas watched as the woman turned to flee back toward where the dead end was located and with a little sigh he hurried along after her. He wasn't about to let her get away so easily when so much was at stake here. He wanted to make sure that things went smoothly and according to plan, even if that meant that he had to tackle the woman and knock her off her high heels he thought to himself as he pushed himself to run that much faster after her. He wasn't exactly the most athletic person around but it helped a lot knowing that there was a dead end that she would run into up ahead.

Almas's eyes went a bit wide, his good eye focusing on her as she changed and he couldn't help but to be a little in awe. She was... rather beautiful wasn't she? She had a dangerous look to her though which kept him on edge, "My Boss wants to meet with you." He said simply, not that it was so simple as that when what Vampy wanted with her wasn't a meeting, it was to capture her. He was here to make sure that he did so, "You will either come quietly to meet him or I will have to make you do so." He did his best to sound intimidating though he wasn't sure if he were quite pulling it off. He hoped so.

"Good, I don't want you to have much to do with him." He said, sounding quite unfriendly about it. Due to what she was, what she did as a job, and the fact that she was somewhat like a Mantis in the fact that she killed her lovers he didn't want the woman anywhere near Vampy, "But what I want doesn't matter, you will be meeting with him."

He turned to follow her with his good eye as she seemed to just be trying to side step him so that she could escape...? He felt his frustration rise as she mocked him for being unable to do anything against her other then make her laugh. It was true given that he had no powers anymore but that didn't mean that he could be nothing, "Don't sound so full of yourself, I fought with something far more intimidating then you not that long ago. A warrior angel makes you look like a child, this is your last chance to go quietly, Demoness."
