there is one other cdp that i forgot to mention last time.... the creature kami of false hope.. one white for a 1/1 creature that you can sac. for a holy day effect.. its fast and reliable...

try pariah sheild equipped to a phytohydra, hehe not only damage prevention from everything, but also a creature that grows because on it, hahaha blaugh

Besides that I am a big fan of fog or ethereal haze, cause somethings can't be prevented (excrutiator) and need blocked!

sorry it wont work... there is two cards that can kill it using a burn deck.. flaring pain since it stops the damage pervention and pinpoint avalanche...
these would both kill the phytohyrda.. i know because ive done it before..
you need something with a really high defense...

If your talking single prevent damage cards I always go with Tangle. Only costs 2 and prevents all combat damage that turn plus the creatures that attacked you don't untap during their next turn. So it's more or less 2 fogs rolled into one if you get lucky and they don't play anymore creatures the following turn to attack with.

Plus I'm a lil biased towards Gaea themed cards, it's got a nice quote and I love the art. xd heart
