"Yeah. That would actually be convenient." He agreed, but gazed and the silver and dark blue potion. "..Is it really necessary to make one that puts one to sleep for an entire month? You would feel like a vegetable.." He paused. "I'll take one each of the first two. The light blue and light purple. You should probably take one yourself after you're done. You look like you need rest." He lifted his hand to reveal his bracelet (Sanctum ID) so that she would scan it. Money was never a problem for him so he never asked how much anything was. It was always a pay-and-go for him. "So do you make these potions or what? Do you try all of them? It isn't that I doubt you, Sham. I'm just curious to know."

Shamira shrugged at his question. She nodded when he said he'd take the two, "Ok." she said simply, ignoring his comment about her needing rest. "I guess the trip this year has taken its toll." she thought. Shamira answered his question as she scanned his ID. "Not all my potions are for personal use. Sleeping is a better way to get revenge than killing. Less of a penalty. And who knows, someone might be trying to hibernate for the winter." she sad with a shrug, answering the first. She smirked when he asked the second question, and called her Sham. "I prefer Shamira. And yes, I make them all myself, I'll have my lab set up tomorrow. I didn't have time today, I just got back last night. And yes, I do try to sell them all. In better weather I do, which is why I usually have my equipment set up so I can make more and continue to sell." She put her scanner away, "This guy's really curious, its a bit annoying. And I don't really like that nickname he gave me, but he seems nice enough, I suppose." she thought.

He dropped his hand once he completed his purchase. "I've got my own method for putting to sleep for longs periods of time. Truth be told, people don't mess with me afterwards. And it involves them living.." Depending..He muttered, gently swaying the bottles side to side to watch them crash against the sides. Just like Taiko.. He thought, suddenly recalling a mental image of a little kid with orange hair. "You look more like outlaw than a chemist, ShamSham." He called again, obviously never minding the trouble she had with it. "Anyways.." He opened one of the three pouches there were strapped behind his belt and gently put them in. "Just keep in mind what I told you before. Do be careful out here." It was beginning to near the night. The clouds that hovered Sanctum would only make the night darker. He wondered how much light the moon would shine through the clouds. If it became pitch black..he would worry. He stepped away from her shop and half-assedly waved over his shoulder as he walked off. I should check out the park. He thought as he headed towards West Sanctum.

As the twilight came Shamira started putting away her wares, and securing the cart. Once she was almost done it was dark. She was putting a tarp over her wares and whistling. Once she was finished she smelled the air. Her eyes narrowed, "So he was right..." she thought, "I can smell them" She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Suddenly she began to change. Skeletal wings sprouted from her back, then grew pale skin, then was covered in dark blackish blue feathers. Her nails grew longer and harder, not unlike talons or claws. Her teeth grew longer and pointed, sharp. She grew a few inches, and more muscled than before. She let the deep breath out and opened her eyes. She grinned, ready for whatever would come her way. She picked up her black case, and when she stood up again, she saw it. Shamira cracked her fingers, still grinning sinisterly with a mouth full of razor sharp teeth. "How nice of you to finally show up. Now the fun can begin." she said. Before her was a pale being. It had no actual nose, just two slits above its thin, black lips. Its eyes were large, and unproportional to the rest of the face. Two large dark, almost black eyes, sunken into its skull. It's two ears, one of which looked as though half was bitten off, were pointed and long. It's hair was black, and oily. It seemed as though plastered to the side of his face, but was evident that it was merely filth keeping it there. Besides the hair on his head, there was none on the rest of his face, or body from what could be seen. It, which appeared to be a he, was dressed in a white shirt that was unbuttoned, reveling a slim but unmuscular pale chest. He was wearing slacks, and a pair of black shoes. Once it started moving toward Shamira she could make out skeletal knobs coming from its back, as if wings had once protruded from there, but no longer. Shamira studied her apparent opponent as he came closer to her. He seemed hollow, moving with no will or direction. He looked at her in the eyes, and she stared back. He seemed enraged by this, and a fire entered his eyes. He rushed at her, and she smirked. She readied herself, mentally, and physically, she bristled her wings, and when he was about two feet away from her she flew up, avoiding him, flipped back, and kicked him in the middle of his back. This sent them both flying opposite of each other. Wheres Shamira could steady herself and hover above the ground, her adversary could only wait till gravity and the hard ground helped him stop. He crashed, but then got up, and shook himself. Shamira frowned, this guy was tougher than what she thought. It was her turn now though, to go on the offense. She charged at him, and punched him several times, causing him to go flying and start bleeding from his cheek. She took a deep breath now, decideing it was time to end the fun. She recited an incantation. This seemed to rile the creature, Shamira smirked but continued her chant. "It seems as though he knows whats going on. Good." she thought as clouds gathered above them. A bolt of lightening came and struck the creature down. It fell to its knees, then over, unconsious. Shamira walked over to it simply to retrieve her case, once doing so she flapped her wings and started flying towards the living quarters. About ten minutes later though, without her knowing it, the creature stood up again and shook itself. It seemed confused as to what happened, and to the scorch marks on its clothes. It shrugged this off though, and continued on its way.

 Lee Sachiko
Lee's travels had bought him to the market district of Sanctum, what a fitting name. He had travelled many places but no where else had such a congregation on races. He fiddled with his ID scanner. " This is going to take some getting used to", he said to himself. Looking around there where so many merchants and people. It was quite breathtaking. Lookign around he tried to spot someone who looked comftable with there surroundings. " I wonder where the Tavern could be"? He voiced the question loud so nearby people would hear him.

~ Ski ~ ╔═══════════════════════════════╗ Leaving the living quarters, the thief found Nate leading into the streets. On the way to the arena or where ever to register for the tournament. He had a few question though, that Ski wasn't really sure herself.
Her powers...well they were different just as she was. Hard to control and hard to master...they were unstable. She wasn't really sure how much she should tell him, but Nate thus far was proving trust worthy. And then the question of abusing her powers...that one was easy to answer but not the answer Nate wanted to hear she was sure.
"My power comes from my lineage. My demon and elven magic have merged where normally they would have repelled each other. Mixing spells that incorporate the elven or demon language with a spell from the opposite heritage. It can get confusing, but since demon and elf are quiet the opposite the spells shouldn't even work, but they are unstable."
Pausing for a moment, Ski looked away, her onyx eyes hidden beneath her hood catching quick thefts if she tried. She held herself back though, Nate didn't know she was a thief and wanted to keep it that way.
"As for abusing my powers...I have." ╚═══════════════════════════════╝

"I noticed that back at the school." But it was still an impressive display. In rank the spider had no chance, and yet even if it was low class it put up a fight with the demon he now walked through the town. Of course when she said that she had abused his power he took it to no surprise but he feared in further prodding into the fact. She - as he knew- was a demon who strived, and mistreated. Many in this city had the same situation when they were younger. Some scarred, others fearing. "Have you ever tried using only one side of your lineage?" He asked. "It might be less lethal to yourself if you try to use only your demon side, or your elven side. At least, that's just a hypothesis." He avoided bumping against a running child, and a chasing father who seemed too slow to catch their kid.

~ Ski ~ ╔═══════════════════════════════╗ Seeing the child coming at her, Ski stepped aside quickly in a flurry of her cloak. The father flying past in hot pursuit of the child that he was having trouble catching. The half-demon never once missing a step, as she thought over Nate's words and dodged the crowd.
Once I had using one side of my heritage... she droned to herself.
Closing her eyes she remembered; remembered the darkness...the madness...the incurable need to fight, to bleed and cause the bleeding. It wasn't her...it wasn't Ski to feels those things.
Opening her eyes one more, Ski frowned in the shadows of her hood. She had also been grieving that time which only made things worse. Since then she had only tapped into one side of the coin for minor things and spells. Sighing, the thief stuffed her hands into her pockets.
"Not really...I've used one side for minor things. Instinct tells me it's not as easy as you make it sound...I could always give it a try in this tournament though," she said with a grin on her face. "If anything it could create a big bang and blow my opponent away." ╚═══════════════════════════════╝

He took her silence negatively, soon turning to give a glance towards her to read her but sadly, she still wore her hood. The only thing he could see were her lips and even then it wasn't enough for him. Her frown became his own. When she spoke he was still staring, the weaponry finally drawing closer. "Maybe we'll just be cautious with that. Using both powers might hurt you in the tournament but they will not kill you." He informed. "The battles are monitored and controlled through spells. If you are cut it'll feel like a force of wind went through you. You'll feel the pain but you will not die.." He paused. "Of course there have been times when people have passed out from the stress." He added, opening the weaponry door and stopped when he looked inside. Two men were already there speaking, and one he had recognized far to well. His face turned blue, and his eyes widened.

~ Ski ~ ╔═══════════════════════════════╗ Leaving the tavern, she was instantly surrounded by the civilians of the city. Wandering, scrambling to get things to eat and errands to run for themselves and family. Walking around with no idea that a night ago that some of them had been in danger. That their children could have been eaten and faced horrible death had Ski not fought and killed the spider demon.
Instead they were living their lives like nothing had happened.
Ski had always seen it. She was separate of society and watched them walk about. Right then when she had left the tavern she had been a part of society now she was just watching it happen around her; bump into her rudely.
Hissing softly, the man that had rammed his shoulder into her chest when from scowling to frightened and sped off. Ski turned on her heel and treed through the close knit crowd. She was coming up on the marketplace area and that was the busiest at this time of the evening; going home to their families and all. Ski made it through the crowd alright though, sending out a dark aura of her other half; unconsciously making the people get out of her way.
Where she was going she didn't know. Here she was, second day in this place and she hadn't established where she was going to stay. It was lazy and slacking off of her thief stature. She had to find a place to make her own. Where the half-breed could go to be alone in silence. Somewhere normal people wouldn't bother her; away from all the normal-ness...somewhere that was familiar in it's morbid eeriness.
Looking up, Ski stopped in the center of the street, her onyx eyes making out in the distance a section of the city she hadn't been before. Northeast Sanctom was off limits and protected by a barrier. However, the area surrounding it wasn't perfect; it was dark and run down.
Smirking, Ski made her way through the crowd once more. "My kind of place."
Northeast Sanctum...here she came.
All the while, the teal colored mix-breed creature was illusive of the watchful eyes looking upon her. ╚═══════════════════════════════╝

╬══ ☬ ══╬ He had descended upon this city to see just what power it held and it's significance. To have a watchful eye upon this place that had caught so many creature's attentions; his included of course. It wasn't easy, but neither was it all that hard. He had power after all, more things were easier for a creature of his stature. He wasn't a weakling like so many others scrambling around the city like hungry pack of mindless animals driven only by instinct and directed by orders. Here a black hooded figure knelt upon a tall building. Scanning the crowd of people beneath him like a nameless shadow that he was. Nothing of his features visible beneath the hood of his ebony cloak; just shadow and more shadow. Looking upon the mass of people going on with their lives unaware of the danger and chaos they were unwillingly involved in. "Like insects...crawling around aimlessly like a unchecked infestation," droned the hooded figure aloud; his voice low and like silken shadow. Scanning the crowd once more, a unique color caught the stranger's eye. Teal...a bright teal mane of hair. Looking more closely, he found the figure walking through the crowd was also hooded, but female. Her long strong legs taking even unhesitating strides to her destination; where ever it was. Her face couldn't be seen, but she walked and looked like a warrior princess with a figure like hers, half hidden by the gray cloak she wore. But he didn't have to see her face to know who she was. "Ah, my sweet little thief..." he whispered out, a dark chuckle of amusement in his voice as he knelt there unseen by the citizens below. "Unconsciously you always follow...dutiful as always my dear. This time though...it'll be different."Chuckling darkly again, the hooded figure stood, the heavy cloak he wore bellowing about him like an eerie interpretation of shadows. For a mere instant a pair of eye reflecting the light from below. He was looking forward to this...even more so now that she had shown up. Now he had to watch her...or have others as well...he had other work to do as well. More important things then a little girl..even with all her potential. Course that didn't mean he could stare and watch her some more. But he had other things to do as of right now...there were plans to carry out after all. " But My my Ski...my have you grown..." the mystery character droned aloud as he stood from his place. With his pitch black cape bellowing about his hidden frame, the stranger vanished in a flume of flame like shadows.
