Rai appears in the center of the Diamond forest though because of this his reflection is seen a million different places. Rai is just standing there looking at Illovae. "It seems like you are having a hard time hitting me..." Rai says the wound on his leg not with standing he thinks that this fight has went the way he has wanted it to. Rai is also chuckling after her destruction of one of the pillars of Diamonds. "Did you know that while diamonds can be melted by lava the also make the best way to keep it contained... at least for small times?" Rai says with a slight grin on his face.
If Illovae would take the time to look at the tips of each pillar in the forest of diamonds she would notice that there seems to be a small heat shimmer from it. Also if she would look closely at the pillar that she destroyed she would notice that the pillar itself is very hollow and that the heat is comming deep from within the ground. Rai holds up his hands in one more seal.
"Diamond forest: Shower of Lava no jutsu." This jutsu will shoot streams of lava through the Diamond pillars and into the air. This causes the Lava to shoot up into the super cold atmosphere and then descend as harden clumps of burnt earth easily as hard as diamond on the outside but with hot lava inside of it. In other words when it hits something the rock cracks and the lava will pour over it. Rai is hopping that this jutsu will end the fight and allow him to emerge victorious. Rai could keep fighting but wants to keep some of his secrets to himself like his most deadly jutsu and besides he is feeling like his chakra is down to fifty percent. (Rai could keep going for quite sometime as you know his main secret but he wants to keep that to himself and his team that he is putting together. And the only reason that it is still at fifty percent is because the fight took place in a dormant volcano if this fight would have been anywhere else that lava was not already readily available he would have to had revealed his most important secret. )

Illovae frowned slightly behind her mask as Rai explained about diamonds, before quickly glancing around and noticing the air rippling around the diamonds because of the heat they were releasing. Closing her wings in mid-air, Illovae dropped down to the level of the crystals and kicked off the side of the broken one, pushing herself through the air towards another. After a moment, the chunks of hardened lava begun descending from the sky, the diamonds maintaining their continuous stream of lava until Illovae kicked off them, the thorns on her feet cracking the diamond and causing them to shoot lava out of the weakened point instead of the tip.
By jumping from pillar to pillar, Illovae freed up her wings, allowing them to be used for a defense once more, if only slightly, and gradually weakened her foe's attack as the diamonds were damaged. Though, with the sheer amount he had created, the number she would destroy on her way to him would be insignificant. Picking ip her speed, Illovae continued moving, using her wings and tail to deflect the shower of hardened lava. As the wings struck the stones however, the hardened rock cracked and lava begun to pour out from inside, eating away at the wings and tail as they were used to hold back the attack. She really needed to end this soon, this guy could just hide underground and gradually pick her off with sustained barrages like this, but now she could see him.
With a final kick off the diamond pillars, Illovae sprung forwards, aiming to hit Rai. First her tail to wrap around his leg, then a quick slash with her right claw, a stabbing jab with her left, a swiped of her burning but still dangerous right wing, then a final strike with both claws. If he dodged again, this battle would become significantly more difficult, Illovae's wings were burning away, a minute or maybe two before they were consumed by flames and she would have to remove them.

Rai smiles as he sees her realize what he has been doing with the lava but then frowns when she shoots out of the ground. Rai is not sure what to expect as she is a very dangerous foe. Rai watches for a few moments while he sees what she is doing. As he sees her start to divert his lava from the top to the side he realizes what she is doing.
Rai starts making seals as she starts shooting her way towards him and finishes as she shoots toward him. He starts to move but his wounded leg refuses to let him move at his full speed. Her tail whips out faster than he is and catches his leg. At that instant he knows that he has to try something that is not normally done.
"Earth Release: Earth style Wall" Rai says calmly as he feels her tail wrap around his leg. Rai smiles at her as he opens his mouth and out comes a huge pile of earth right on top of her attempting to bury her in the pillar of earth that he is making spew forth from his mouth. This jutsu will cover her unless she breaks away from the attack and tries to get out unfortunately if she does this he will be able to use another jutsu just to disappear from her sight and hide yet again making this fight continue.

Illovae skidded to a stop as Rai began another set of handsigns, her tail tightening around her foe's leg as she concentrated her chakra. Gesturing with her left hand, Illovae shouted "Bastion of Earth!" she shouted, and with a loud rumble, a wall of earth shot up from in front of her, the infusion of pure earth chakra reinforcing it well beyond normal levels. There was a loud sound of impact as Rai's jutsu struck the barrier, angles in the wall of earth gently redirecting the attack and splitting the blast of earth in two, each one streaming past Illovae. Reaching behind her back, Illovae grabbed hold of her burning wings and with a faint snapping sound, removed them from her armour. With a quick tug of her tail, the rogue ninja began to drag Rai towards her wall, the chakra hardened barrier easily withstanding the attack.
As she swung her arms, swinging both wings like axes to strike around the barrier and hit Rai, the side effects of using the Bastion of Earth started to show, small droplets of blood oozing out of the gaps between the vines and dripping to the ground. Within the armour, Illovae's skin was covered in cracks, blood dripping from the wounds that covered her entire body. Still, if it was what she needed to do to win, then she would put up with the pain and the annoyance of the healing period after the battle, all to deal the final blow.
With Illovae's tail pulling Rai towards her wall, and both her still flaming thorned wings being swung to either side to prevent her foe from sidestepping, Illovae's armour began to grow more thorns. The entire front of her body was quickly covered in thorns, long jagged spikes of immensely dense wood, compressed well beyond the level of steel. The thorns extended, speeding forwards from Illovae's body and passing through her wall, leaving no gap, or even a slight gap in the defense. In less then a second, the thorns were all through, extending towards Rai. After a moments pause, thorns grew from the tail, the hooked and barbed spikes growing, ready to pierce Rai's leg at any moment. He would me less likely to try and run if he realized that doing so would tear away part of his leg.

(that jutsu that I just used is a more defensive one... it is the one the third hokage used against orrochimaru when the invasion of Konoha was happening... It turns my chakra into earth an creates a wall like thing between the two of us. and while you are close enough to wrap your tail around my leg I assume then that you are close enough to be covered by the dirt.)

((Ah got it, I shall edit my post slightly to adapt with that. It won't change my attack though, just how your jutsu is dealt with.
Okay as it is not an attack, Illovae's barrier will just split the stream so it flies to either side of her, missing.))

Rai seeing that his attack has failed that he needed to do something else. Threads start to shoot out of his leg wrapping around the limb to protect it. The threads then attacked at the tail cutting it and trying to separate the pieces to allow himself with an escape from this attack.
Rai starts making hand seals yet again and starts another jutsu. "Fire Release: Dragon fire no jutsu." Rai opens his mouth yet again and this time white fire shoots through the air at the wall causing the remainder of the plant life to go up in flames. Rai is hoping that this jutsu will cause enough damage to the wall that she will have to retreat from him allowing him to continue his attacks from safety.
The former lava jutsu though has still not stopped and in turn the flames are carving a path for the lave to come in from behind her from the last place that she shot off from. Rai smiles as he sees this knowing that one way or the other she will need to break away but if she lets the wall fall in front of her the fire will burn her if she does keep the defense up though the lava will get her...

Illovae frowned behind her mask as a blast of fire struck her barrier, flames twisting and coiling around the earthen wall as Illovae backed away slightly. With her tail damaged and slowly being cut away at, Illovae had moments before her foe got away once more. Her voice echoed out from behind her helmet, "Call of Lightning!" Illovae suddenly blurred, quickly stepping around Rai and swinging one of her burning wings at his back, using the weapon like a gigantic axe. The other wing was flung away, the flames had spread faster on that one because of its earlier contact with lava, and Illovae couldn't risk fighting with flames about to creep up her arm.
Illovae then brought up her left arm, flicking it slightly and causing the thorns still embedded in the earth barrier to swell in size before the rogue ninja canceled the chakra ability. The wall exploded into a shower of red hot stone shards, pieces flying everywhere, leaving behind only the thorns and small network of vines holding them together. As one of the still flaming thorns extended quickly towards Rai's chest again, the others whipped backwards, the sharp tips of the thorns digging into the ground and tearing out chunks as they rapidly created a small canal. With the canal to divert some of the lava, Illovae tugged one Rai's leg one last time with her tail, hoping to disrupt his balance before the vines finally snapped. Still moving at extreme speeds, Illovae thrust her palm towards Rai's neck, a barrage of thorns blasting forwards.
She needed to deal some damage soon, when her Call of Lightning ended, she would be momentarily immobile...

Rai does not break off his attack but when he notices that she has moved he quickly drops his height and turns so that he is now facing her. It was where he would attack from also. He then while keeping his current jutsu going throws his right hand out. out of his hand shoots seven threads that start to fly towards her. These threads will cut through her and as they near her they wrap around the others so that they are going to hit as one single attack.
With Rai ducking and turning the explosion that would have hit him in the chest embeds itself in his trench coat and upper back area of that. But more and more of the debris of that will by pass him making its way towards her. Also the attack that she was throwing at his head will be over his head now and allow his threads to pierce her.

Illovae blurred again, her enhanced speed more then enough to dodge away from Rai's attack and slip around the few pieces of shrapnel that passed him. With her foe now open, his right hand stretched forward after unleashing his attack, Illovae changed her grip on the wing she held slightly before swinging it once more, the flaming mass of thorns and vines scything through the air towards Rai's back. Thorny vines began to sprout from Illovae's shoulder blades, compressing and twisting around each other to form another set of wings, identical to the original pair. Raising both wings and stretching them out to their maximum span, Illovae released another barrage of thorns, sending the hardened points in a lightning-fast volley at Rai.((You forgot about the flaming thorn flying towards your chest and Illovae's tail tugging at Rai's leg to trip him over.))

(sorry but i thought that i explained that.. When I spun i did it just enough that if I try to move it will trip me but not that it would be a problem... Remember my threads did hack through a lot of the tail vine... also that when I spun i ducked lowering myself to half my height so i figured attacks aimed at my Chest would soar over my head.)
As Rai realizes that he has missed with his threads he shoots them out of his entire body covering his body again shielding him from this next wave of attacks. The threads while super fast are almost not fast enough as a few thorns are seen in the making of the thread ball.
Rai does a set of hand seals from within the ball. The ground on the outside of the ball starts to fly up and latch on to the ball condensing only after it had built up a foot of earth then it started to convert into diamonds. These diamonds would not be broke so easily. The dome of Diamonds starts at the ground and covers over top of Rai's ball.
The thread ball then starts to recind back into Rai's body while he takes a few breaths before starting another bit of hand seals and touches the ground before the movement cant be seen through the diamonds any more.

Illovae growled slightly as her attacks were stopped by a diamond barrier one more, many of the thorns bouncing harmlessly off its shining surface. This guy's defensive capabilities were insane, and the sheer speed at which he could defend was staggering. Still, every defense had its weakpoint, she just needed to find it. As it was connected to the ground she wouldn't be able to knock it over. A complete sphere, there is no way to move around it. No gaps, no way of getting a thorn in. Illovae grinned behind her mask suddenly, before throwing away the flaming wing she held and flapping the wings on her back, quickly ascending into the sky, vines twisting around her right arm as she swerved to avoid the rising bursts of lava.
Dispelling her Call of Lightning while in the air, Illovae dropped for a moment as the dispelled electricity paralyzed her for a few seconds, stopping her from moving before it wore off and she recovered, ascending to her previous height. Once at that height, Illovae's wings grew, until each wing was about the same length as the rogue ninja's body, the massive wings making it far easier to remain airborne while she prepared her attack. In Illovae's right hand was now a gigantic lance, countless vines twisted around a single core tendril, with a massive tip at the end, hundreds of thorns fused together to create an impossibly sharp tip. By linking his barrier to the ground, and removing his ability to flee, Rai had left himself open for an attack. One that would either shatter the diamond or force the barrier beneath the ground simply from the impact.
With a final flap of her wings, Illovae pushed herself further up, before folding the wings behind her back to make herself more streamlined. She dropped. With Rai's dome only the size of a tennis ball beneath her, Illovae aimed her spear, vines still rising from her armour and coiling around it, increasing it's weight and strength as she shot towards the barrier. Quickly reaching terminal velocity, Illovae's now massive lance was held in front of her, the vines rising from her armour now wrapping around her arms and body to cushion the impact when she finally hit. A short time later, Illovae smashed into the dome, her lance forcing open a small crack in the top with all the force and speed of her dive projected into the one point, her lance.

Illovae's spear hits the top of the dome and shatters right through it. Although when she gets through it she meets a surprise that she probably did not expect. Rai was no longer inside of the dome. The truth should now start to sink in. The diamonds went as far down as the earth but never covered the bottom of the defense. This way Rai could fall back into the ground and then disappear from her view. It would look like he was still inside though as there was a form in there moving around.
The diamond/lava clone explodes upon impact with the dome as the pressure behind the attack moves forward and shakes it. The clone releases a concussive force directly towards her. Rai on the other while has vanished back into the diamond forest area. Rai is not going to show himself just yet and starts making preparations for his next attack. One thing or another he needs her as part of his group. With her offensive capabilities and his defensive that would make a dangerous combo right now... where as the other members were each as strong or more so than Rai and Illovae.

Illovae's lance passed straight through the clone, the tip embedding itself in the earth as the clone exploded, tiny shards of diamond and fire rocketing out of its destroyed body. Diamonds struck Illovae's armour, many of them glancing off or just scratching the vines, but several managed to get a clean hit and embedded themselves in the coiled vines. The diamond barrier however, did not fare so well, the cracks spiderwebbing across its surface severely decreasing its strength, so when the explosion hit, shards went everywhere, shooting into the forest of diamond pillars and ricocheting off them, cracking the hollow diamonds slightly where they hit. Once the explosion passed, Illovae lowered herself to the ground, stabilizing herself with her wings as she removed her lance from the earth. With her wings balancing the weight of her giant lance, Illovae glanced around for Rai, out of habit more then anything, she didn't think he would flee and then stand in the open.
Illovae snarled slightly, the sound distorted by the mask she wore as she lifted her lance and swung, the tip smashing through the crystal pillars and causing the damaged monoliths to explode in a shower of lava and diamond that sprayed towards the other pillars. With the first row of diamonds surrounding Illovae destroyed, a chain reaction occurred, more and more pillars exploding into showers of firey doom as they were struck by similar explosions occurring all around them. Standing on charred earth in a crater filled with shards of diamond, Illovae scanned the battlefield, waiting to see if these explosions would drive Rai out of hiding.

The lava around Illovae started to raise up and form a barrier around her. "I have enjoyed this fight but I feel that we need to end this soon. IF we dont one of us will kill the other one." Rai's voice says as three people that look like Rai surface through the ground a bit away. These three hold out their swords at Illovae.
When Rai's voice is heard next all three of the Rai's mouths seem to move at the same time in sync with the sound of his voice. "I will take you out of the picture. You will fall here and if that happens you wont rise again." Rai's voice says then the three Rais start to move. They separate into three areas then swoop down to attack at her with their swords. All three of them showing up in the three sides of her swinging their swords so that there is no escape to just dodge it.
