Do we need to stick to cards that exist in reality, or can we use cards that have shown up in the manga/anime or make up our own cards (as long as we don't blow the effect out of proportion)?

Lol, that'll be pretty neat to have.

It would definetly keeps the decks and duels interesting (and the deck lists changing lol)

Richard tossed and turned in his sleep, having an extremely odd dream. It felt far too real to be just a dream, however, as he heard a girl's voice cry out to him, begging him to help her...

"WWWOOOAAAHHH!" Shouted the young man as he fell for what seemed like forever. But in a flash of light, he found himself in a brilliant castle. Looking to the center, he found what appeared to be three ice sculptures of dragons. As he walked forward, curious, he heard the same voice from before say to him, "Oh, thank goodness you have come, brave knight!" Turning behind him, he saw someone he did not expect. "Wait a minute... You're-you're the... Dark Magician Girl! What is going on?" The Dark Magician Girl ran forward and grabbed Richard's hands as she said to him pleadingly, "A great evil now threatens your world and this one, the Dominion of the Beasts, the home of we Duel Monsters! You may know it as the Duel Monster Spirit World. You are the only one who can save us!" Most people would have thought they had gone crazy by this point, but not Richard. Due to his family line, he considered himself to be a knight, and felt he was honor bound to help anyone who asked for his aid. Proudly, he asked, "What can I do?" Dark Magician Girl smiled as she led him by the hand to the three dragons. "These are the Legendary Dragons, the protectors of the Duel Monsters Spirit World. One of them belongs to you. All you must do is pull the sword from the ice and call out your dragon's name and he will serve you." Richard nodded as DMG made him float up to the first dragon's head. Gripping the hilt of the sword that was gauged in the dragon's eye tightly, Richard pulled as hard as he could, loosening the blade with each pull. Finally, he freed the sword as the ice broke with an explosion of light. In an instant, a brilliant and proud green dragon appeared. Suddenly, with hesitation and surprising himself that he knew the dragon's name, Richard cried out as DMG looked on, smiling, "TIMAEUS!" Then everything went white...

Richard woke up in a sweat, back on his bed in his cabin of the ship back to Duel Academy. Sighing, he said, "I guess it was just a dream." But then, as he looked to his Duel Disk, he saw a light shine from the top of his deck. Rolling out of bed, he picked up the card on top and saw his dragon on it. "The Eye of Timaeus... so it wasn't a dream!" Then, he thought back to how DMG told him the fate of world was depending on him. Sighing, Richard realized just how interesting his senior year at Duel Academy was already shaping up to be.

Kaiju walked to the back of the ship, to the cargo hold and pulled the string on a large, tarp covered item. The fell and revealed a shining black motorcycle. Kaiju grinned. He threw on his black duel disk, climbed on the bike, and sped off just as the ramp lowered on the cargo deck at Duel Academy.

Rich walked to the cargo hold and opened the crate to his Duel Runner. Readjusting his Obelisk Blue jacket and sliding his deck from his belt on his jeans into his Duel Disk and hopped onto the motorcycle as he rode it off the barge and into the Duel Academy Duel Runner Garage, Obelisk Blue sector. After that, he made his way to the dorm, smiling as he saw it. "Home sweet home."

(OOC: Just as a note, I decided to change my mind. This RP will allow Turbo Dueling.)

Adrain looked over the island with emotionless eyes. This was to be the sacred ground upon which the Great Leviathan would once again grace the world with its presence.

Adrian watched as students rode off on to campus on noisy bikes that he assumed were the duel runners the captain had said could not be ridden until the boat had docked. Adrian closed his eyes a slight look of disapproval in his composition. Those bikes were merely a failed attempt to outrun the great power of the Orichalcos. Adrian counted the number of bikes driving off on different paths thinking of how best to get rid of those sorrowful attempts and take the riders' souls for the greater cause.

Damion stretched his arms out after standing up from the chair that he slept on. He put on his Slifer Red jacket and made sure he had his Deck with him. He walked off the cargo ramp knowing he shouldn't. He watched by as all the duel runners past him in great speed. Most of the riders yelling at him because he was in their way, but he didn't care. All he cared about was finding the Slifer Red dorm.

Kaiju pulled his bike up to the edge of the woods or Duel Academy. He always preferred to be outside, so he began to set up camp right there. He didn't have to go to class, considering he graduated last year. He was just here to visit some old friends. He stretched in his hammock that he had set up, and lit up a cigarette, "It's been awhile.."

Rich made his way to the main Duel Arena after setting up his dorm to hear the welcome address from the school principal, none other than Dr. Akiza Izinski, a graduate of the New Domino City Duel Academy and the famous Black Rose of the Signers. However, neither Rich, Akiza, nor any of the other students had any idea that some people there were not who they said they were, but that they were in fact members of Paradius.

(yes, sicne this has Turbo Dueling, it will be after 5D's)

Kaiju made his way to the Duel Arena, though he wasn't a student, to hear the tail end of the speech. He was itching for a duel, it had been a while, and had his old school battle city style duel disk strapped on and his deck in the deck pocket of his black jacket.

Kazuma made his way from the boat to the dorms, walking lazily while watching some of the students ride their motorcycles around. He knew a bit about turbo-dueling, but wasn;t much for it. He sighed and slid the yellow and white duel disk onto his arm and began making final adjustments to his main deck as he walked into the Ra Yellow Dorm.

(just to let everybody know, My characters motorcycle isn't a duel runner, just a regular black motorcycle. I'm not a big fan of turbo duels, I'm and old school duelist.)

(i must say i do like the idea. after 5d's orichalcos comes back. its very beast indeed but if turbo dueling is allowed finding everythings speed counter costs will be annoying. and also if its after 5D's then will the blue eyes white dragon be avalable to use or no? like someone have all 3 or 3 people have 1 each)
