Andrew was sad for a second thinking to himself why didn't they save me the large group of doctors started to disperse till the few that were transporting him were left. "lets keep going" the nurse kept pushing the cart into the new room to begin the test. The Large doctor opened the cage and reached inside with his un-injured hand, Andrew scooted into the corner trying to get away from the man's grasp, " Get over here you little runt " his voice sounded like one of those wrestlers he saw on TV. He grabbed him by the neck almost crushing the life out of him and threw him on the test table and strapped him down. The nurse looked down on him turning on the operation light "Now stay still" her voice sounded like it was full of hate. The sound of a drill rose up behind him and he cringed at the sound.

" I don't know...."he said rubbing his temples. " I'm going to go check it out. It might be.....one os us I guess. Want to come, or are you still grogy from the benzodiazepine?"he asked.

Darkness SurroundsShale looked around the room and cough. "I'm fine now, we should rea-" she began to say, but stopped and widened her eyes. Her lips moved as if she was silently saying something, and her eyes were completely blank. Shale was back in the room, and she could see another patient on a test table. He was strapped in and looked like he couldn't get out. Shale shuddered and blinked, the glaze gone from her eyes and she was back to normal. "We have to save him.." she whispered. Shale jumped from the bed and ran to her own room. Underneath her pillow lay a butcher knife, which she grabbed and ran to the testing room with. Shale threw open the doors and jumped at the nearest person, who happened to be the Nurse. With a soft growl, she plunged the knife into the Nurse's left shoulder. She shrieked and grabbed at Shale, but she jumped off just in time. The huge Doctor was running towards her, so Shale thrust out her hand at the far wall and every single syringe came flying at the Doctor and smashed into the back of his head. He fell to the ground with a thump, blood forming a pool beneath his unmoving body. Shale moved on to the test table and started hacking at the retraints, always muttering, "Come on, come on... More are going to come soon.." With a triumphant screech, Shale watched the binds came undone and she grabbed the other patient's hand and pulled him back to Sian's room. She slammed the door behind her and finally gave herself time to breath. Death Abounds

Andrew only saw blood for a moment and then he was free from his restraints. When in the room Andrew looked at both people "I could have gotten out of their by myself you know....but thanks anyway". He shook the girl's hand "Who are you guys" then glared at the boy.

Darkness SurroundsShale snorted in disbelief, but smiled kindly. "Riiiiight. I'm Shale Sombre, a 'patient' here. And you are...?" she said, brushing her curly black hair out of her face. She was breathing heavily from the adrenaline, but the affect was wearing off and she was exhausted. Shale hadn't slept, on her own accord, for four days. Death Abounds

"Oh I'm Andrew Smith.... and I guess I'm a patient too" Andrew looked around the room and then back at Shale. "so you guys are planing to break out of here" he rubbed his hands together to make himself warm.

Darkness SurroundsShale bit her lip and glanced at Sian before answering Andrew. "I'm not sure about Sian, but I'm not. They may do horrible tests, but none of them will kill you. I tried to escape once. I got shot in the shoulder." She pushed down the sleeve of her dress on her left shoulder and showed Andrew the jagged, circular scar that the bullet had left. "Hurt like hell, and I don't want to go through that pain again. Plus, if they had shot a little lower, I wouldn't be here right now, would I?"Death Abounds

"Who knows. But if you might want to get out just give a cat call" Andrew lit his small blue flame and then snuffed it out. "what about you....what was it..... Sian?" he focused on Sian now "are you going to try to escape?" he started to pull out a few sheets of scrap he stole while the doctors weren't looking and started to weld them together.

Darkness SurroundsShale pushed up her sleeve and blinked, watching Andrew in curiosity. "What are you doing?" she asked, tilting her head to the side to try and get a better look. Her hair fell in her face again, so she took the ribbon that lay limply around her neck and tied it around her hair in a ponytail. Death Abounds

Andrew turned around then pushed her face away with his fingers "don't look at the light you could go blind" he kept going for about thirty seconds then it stopped. He grabbed the small metal bar and handed it to Shale "here thanks for helping me out" Andrew pushed the bottom and a blade shot out "try not to get hurt out there okay"

Sian looked at Andrew and said "Yeah, it's Sian. Sian nighte. Andrew, right? I'mnot planning to break out. Been here since I was seven, I have no where else to go."He looked at the ground rembering the day he was dragged here.

Most were caught right after they left Parthelon, finally reached that age where they left their house, or they were kicked out because they were unwanted..." Shale said, sighing dramatically. "I really do dislike this place with a passion." She brushed her bangs out of her eyes and leaned back against the door, sinking to the ground with a soft thump. "What now?" Gilligan sighed. "Shut up!" another shove in the back. "Where are you taking me again?" she asked the person behind her. "I said shut up!" came the reply. A pause. Then, "I'm taking you to be fixed." Gilligan rolled her eyes. "I'm not an animal you know. And if you're trying to threaten me you're not doing a very good job." She smiled. "Why are we going through all the back alleys and stuff?" The voice was quiet "just wait" it murmered. Another shove.
Eventually, they came to a back of a building that would seem almost abandoned to humans, but Gilligan saw its true form. A horrible palce that people like her spent their whole life avoiding. The Hospital. The shove that was delivered this time sent her through a door, and she flew through the room unable to stop herself because her hands and feet were bound with rope. Her journey was interrupted by a desk with a lady sitting behind it. "Is this the shifter?" the lady asked without looking up. Gilligan guessed the man that had brought her there nodded because the lady behind the desk spoke a few seconds later. "Room 457. Move along." Another shove.

He looked at both of them and said "I'm going back to my room. I suggest you guys do the same if you don't want to gt caught by the damned doctors."He walked down the hall towards his room still looking at his feet.
