Volrath looks over the class and his gaze falls on Accalia "You don't look very well, are you all right? I can't tell if you're volunteering or if you're about to be sick. If it's the later I recommend you go to the nursing station. If you feel too badly I can send another student to escort you. If you're volunteering and it's just nerves i'm seeing then please come to the front of the class and prepare yourself."

 Accalia shook her head quickly, "No, just nervous. I'm sorry." She admitted as she took her school bag off, hearing it thud slightly onto the floor. With a deep breath she walked to the front, trying to keep herself from shaking. She didn't want to be late anymore, she didn't want to fail, she didn't want to go back home... She wanted to pass and understand how her abilities worked. With some focus and pride she was sure she could do whatever test any teacher threw at her. Don't pay attention the voices for now, they're only trying to scare you since you're not giving them everything they want. You're not tired or hungry, you're just nervous. This is your first test at this school, so pass it. She thought to herself as she stood at the front, waiting for whatever he had in mind to test her on the spell.

Volrath looked her over and stood silent for a few minutes. then without warning he waves a hand at her and says in a clear loud voice. "Erom mi casta enete!" then he lowers his hand and watches as abolt of icy air hurltes toward Accalia.

"Eh-Eh-Emorein Nijker Eron!" Accalia shouted as she held up her hands in hopes to defend herself from the ice. To her relief the fire sheild still formed despite her terrified voice. What kind of teacher sends something like that at a student without warning? Was anyone planning on giving her a brea-... ah the room was spinning now. Excitement was not the best thing for her heart at that moment. But what if complaining was going to make her get in trouble? She was sure that it would pass and soon enough it did.

Laura was surprised to see Volrath shoot icy air at Accalia. She was glad that Accalia was able to sheild herself from it, and wondered if he would do that to everyone or only her.

Kalika leans on the wall beside the door of the class. She was unable to break the spell, and all she wanted was to sign up for the class. She will have to come another time. She walks down the hallway, leaving the class.

Volrath nods his head as Accalia's spell easily blocks the icy blast. "Very good you get an A. The only way to test your knowledge of how to properly use a spell is to test it in a real situation. While nervous, you still managed a perfect fire shield spell. You can take your seat now and whoever wishes to go next may come to the front. Don't be alarmed if you do get hit with my blast, it only requires a simple reversal spell to set you right. As all of you are sitting here, you have successfully proven that you can break a fire shield spell, and that is half of your grade for this test."

Accalia walked quickly back to her seat, glad to be at least a little further away from the teacher. With a deep sigh of relief she sat down, she could do this. She could pass. It wasn't impressive how she did it but she could do it. Now to remember how to breath...

Elf4God whispered the words to himself in the back, practicing so that he could perform a successful block if Volrath's ice came hurtling at him. He stopped midsentence feeling Volrath's eyes on him. Elf4God held his gaze with an effort, and eventually the professor went back to the front-center of the room. Uncertain of what was going to happen next, Elf4God kept practicing under his breath.

Laura watched the professor, hoping her turn to block would not come next.
(Um maybe you shouldn't control Volrath, its not your character no offense.)

Alasse looked at Laura and pursed her lips, worried. She wasn't all that great casting spells at the spur of the moment...

"Volrath walks right up close to Laura and looks her up and down. He turns abruptly and stalks across the room. Spinning mid-stride to face her, he casts the icy bolt towards her. "Erom mi casta enete!"
