Meowth bowed and said, "Thank you ever so much. So, I take it we are off to Pewter Gym. From what I heard through the paper this mornin, every gym leader has been taken hostage throughout the world. Every ranger had been dispatched, but only to have disappeared without a trace! Perhaps them too changed into a Pokemon."

James then added, "I too had heard something similar. Before we picked up the trail on you, Pikachu, again, I had heard screams within the towns. Of course, I didn't want to say anything for obvious reasons."

Jessie then asked, "So, if we are going to pewter, does that mean that we have to travel through the forest?"

Saya nodded " Yea we do. It's the only way to get to Pewter City. Since none of us know how to fly." She started walking down the path that lead to the forest.

Just then out of nowhere, a frightened beedrill buzzed around Kona! It circled and circled as if totally lost as well. This was the Pokemon that Iori Yagami turned into and he wasn't only frightened and lost, but he was angry!

The Beedrill used poison sting on Kona to see what he would do next, secretly laughing inside at the clumsiness.

Beedrill danced in a way so that translated, Beedrill said, "I would rather have a Male Spinerak as my boyfriend than to be chums with those three losers."

Iori the Beedrill looked directly at Meowth so the Meowth could directly translate the movements.

Saya watched as Kona tried to fight off the Beedrill. " I'm surprised he hasn't use a fire type attack on it" She thought to herself. The egg rocked a little bit more inside the saddlebag.

(OMG, you started a Pokemon RP and I didn't know about it?)

Meanwhile, back in Pallet Town, Bernard, who was one lucky individual not to be turned into a Pokemon, due to his Pokemon Ranger status, was wondering why it was so quiet.

He had entered the Pokemon Lab to see that it was in shambles! All of the aides were gone, and the machine to restore Pokemon was busted too.

Then, in the corner of his eye, he saw a Primeape helping itself to some goodies on the left bookshelf. Using his stylus, Bernard managed to befriend the Primeape and it asked Bernard in human speech, "Why did you want me as your pokemon partner?"

Bernard jumped a bit, startled. "So, the newspapers weren't bluffing," he thought. Then he replied to the Primeape, "I think you and I would make a great team to find out what happened here. Would you be so kind to explain what happened? I will give you these oran berries if you tell me."

Primeape could not resist the dry taste of oran berries, his favorite food. Therefore he said, "In a summary, Ash ketchum has turned evil, Professor Oak was hauled off someplace, I don't know where. Pika the Pikachu was whining like the mouse he really is, and Team galatic is the ones doing all of this mess. There, I told you what I know. Now hand over those berries!"

Bernard laughed and gave the primeape the berries as promised. Primeape then said, "By the way, my name is Goku. If you want, I can help you restore some order to this dump, but it is going to take a lot of food, and a lot of teamwork. Okay?"

Smiling, Bernard replied, "Sounds like you have yourself a deal, Goku. My name is Bernard. Its a pleasure to officially know you."

Goku smiled, then he said, "From what my strong nose is telling me, Pika is travelling with a bunch of others. From what I can tell, he's with an unnatural Sceptile female level 80, a Cyndaquil level 10, a ninetails level 32, and... ugh... team Rocket."

Bernard rewarded the Primeape with a Wiki berry this time, which was yummier than the oran berry. He then said, "Well, Goku, lets head that direction then. Okay?"

Goku nodded and the two travelled together hoping to catch up to the travelling heroes.
