Nina walked behind him almost shaking cause
of the quiet hissing that was coming from inside
of his shirt. She got a little closer to him sort of
frightened "So what is your name" she said softly as
she grabbed his hand. She didnt like the dark much
so she had to hold his hand, when she holds things, hugs something,grabs things, etc. she feels safer.

He heard the girl speak before grabbing his hand. He didnt mind, of course he didnt mind most things anymore. "My name issss Richard." He said as he gently padded his chest, letting the viper know he needed to be quite. The hissing died down quickly

your hand i dont really like the dark" she
admitted shamefully "And where did the hissing go?"
she asked softly looking at him.

"its perfectly fine." He said with a gentle smile behind his veil of jet black hair. "It was my pet, I silenced him for you." he said as he opened the door on the right, one of few bright rooms within this section of the dorm. "Here is your room." As the light released it revealed what he looked like, instead of his normal shroud like appearance.

"Thankyou for letting me stay here i really
needed a room im glad you could supply me
with one" she said as she smiled brightly
"Well im going to unpack.... see you later?"
she asked hoping to see him again in a while.

"If there is anything you need, anything at all feel free to asssk me." He said as he turned away. "Ill be back to check on you in a bit." with that he returned to his position in the other room.

"Ok" she said softly as she started to unpack
her clothes and other items. She was soon
done so she laid on her bed singing softly to
herself keeping herself busy for the time being.

After an hour or so had passed Richard stood up, making his way down the hall, vanishing in the shadows once again. Once out side of the new girls room he knocked gently before pushing the door open, squinting at the beaming light escaping the door hole. "I see you made yourself right at home." His gently smile only made things feel more warming. For someone that looked so dark and evil, he really had a kind and gentle heart.

"Yes, do you not like all of this light?" she
giggled as she shut her drapes and turned
a small lamp on. "Do you want any company?"
she asked smiling at him telling he was any
sort of bad person.

"I could stay in here with you for a little while if you dont mind." He asked, lifting both his hands and parting his hair from his face. He didnt mind the light, but the dark was his best friend. He preferred it much more.

"I dont mind at all, please sit" she said pointing
to a chair. She sat on her bed smiling softly
thinking of what they could talk about then she
finally thought of something to break the awkward
silence "So tell me about your self, what do you like to do?"
she asked him.

"Thank you." He said to her offer as he walked over and sat in the chair, crossing his right leg in a perpendicular form over his left. His pant legs sliding up slightly. "Well, there is not much to me. I mostly spend my time thinking about the past, occasionally Ill watch a movie." He said trying to think of ways to make himself sound less boring.

"Sounds like fun, i watch a movie occasionally
but i spend most of my time alone to" she said
frowning "I dont like being alone but there isnt alot
of polite people out there you know" she said
looking up at him and making eye contact "Your
the first person i have met that is polite and nice"
she smiled warmly.

" I have gotten use to the feeling of being alone." His head filled with memories of his childhood. the kids laughing and making fun of him for having pale skin, or for not being able to do the things they could. After these memories came the ones of him slaughtering them, accidentally of course. He didnt have control over his powers at that point, and he had summoned up and army of snakes that killed all the kids that hurt him. Of course he didnt want the girl to know that. "But it seems that you changed that for me." he said as the warm smile returned to his face.

"Im glad i could make you feel different"
she said softly touching her head "Im sorry
i cant control this but um i can read minds
and i saw your childhood" she frowned still
gripping her head with one hand "Im sorry
that happened to you well i was wondering
if i could be your friend" she said slowly removing her
hand from her head. She smiled softly hoping he
wasnt mad at her for reading his mind or bringing up his past.
