"oh im not a cat!" Rai said then she transformed back into her human form. "im a witch! i just like being in cat form thats all." Rai said then she transformed back into her cat form and jumped onto the chair.
"Hey im not like this all the time! only on full moons." Makoto said.

"Like, oh. My bad." Joe says before quaffing a cupful of punch in one gulp. The scruffy dude leaned up next to the fire again, hands on his knees.
"Like, anyway. The war between humans and demons, right? Demons actually had the short end of the stick, because humans made friends with werewolves, vampires and witches and stuff. Sorta like this school, you know? So to start winning, demons got evil spirits to help them by possessing special creatures and using them against humans.
That was a big problem, humans were getting wiped out by their friends. So holy priests were gathered in one place to exorcise the evil spirits. Only problem was, these were the strongest spirits in the underworld, and could not be destroyed. So instead, the head priest had the spirits sealed inside chicken eggs dowsed in holy water. They were kept inside the church, where they could never be allowed to hatch. With their friends back, the humans fought the demons all the way back to square one.
Demons know that those spirits would've helped them win the war. So every dark moonless night they come up with plans to release those spirits back into this world, to get rid of humanity once and for all."
Joe leaned back in his chair. "And that's the story of the Demon War. Pretty cool, huh?"

"Like, okay dudes, who's next? Everybody's gotta tell one." Joe said, looking from Makoto to Riley to Rei to the shadow caught in the cage.
