"Alright, then," he said with a smile, encouraged by the way she smiled. He looked around as she did, looking back as she asked to head back with him, nodding.
"Of course, it's not that hard to find your way around once you get used to it, but all the trees can make it harder to figure out," he said, though it might have been his upbringing in the Pridelands where there were so few trees to block other landmarks that made him think that way.

"Great!" Anjali hadn't felt terribly nervous when she had first been accepted into the pride, but she didn't think she would be able to make a friend this quickly. And with the added fact that she was getting a great tour? Even better. She liked looking around herself, but she didn't want to break a taboo or anything. Having a guide could ensure that everything would be good.
"Well, lead the way?" she chuckled, her tail swaying behind her even as it was a little drippy on the end from mud. Maybe one day she'd get used to being so dirty all the time.

"Alright," he said, turning back around to start the walk back to where they had started, careful to find the least squishy paths to follow back, "We can pick a place to meet tomorrow, too." He smiled, this was better than a walk on his own would have been.

Anjali only nodded, following his footsteps (since maybe they wouldn't be as squishy), excited to have something to look forward to tomorrow. Hopefully it would continue to be this easy and enjoyable to make friends with other members~!
