Nina was so pleased that Kiara wanted to leave too, she didn't even mind the bit about the big entrance. "Spoken like a true royal," she said as she flung open the giant doors with a gush of air. Before the startled announcer had a chance, she shouted, "Your future queen, Crown Princess Kiara DeRienzo of Marzapan! All rise!"
At the same time, a wind swept all the hats in the room off their respective heads. Nina grinned, happy to relieve the tension. "Flashy enough for ya?"

The queen could feel the angry stares of the twins on her back. Her daughter's half heard whisper and the fact that she could hear Nina announcing Kiara's presence to the world inspired her and she turned around suddenly.
"Well, girls," she smiled, pointed fangs glistening," Maybe I should bite her, just to show her a thing or two. What do you think- in front of the assembly or after?"
It's important that they feel they have input, she reminded herself. In fact the girls did influence many things she did.

The twins smiled happily. " Which ever is more mischievous My Queen." Ria had said sweetly. Tria nodded in agreement.
Kirara smiled. " Most defiantly. Lets go shall we?" Kirara held her arms out for Nina, and walked down the rows of people. " Keep an eye out for my mother. I know you can handle yourself, but she's a tricky one."

Nina smiled back at Kiara, but she stopped smiling as the princess grabbed her arm and paraded her up the aisle."I'm your attendant, stupid, not your bride!" she hissed through gritted teeth. She could feel the eyes of all the people in the room on her, wondering who the hell she thought she was. Now that they've noticed me I've really got to skip town, Nina thought frantically as she deposited Kiara on the dais with a bow. She then whisked herself gracefully behind the thrones, just in case she needed to get Kiara out quickly or whisper something in her ear.

The queen smiled right back at them.
"You two just warm my sweet little heart," she chuckled.
As if I had a heart.
"Hmmm... well, it would certainly shock the ambassadors. But would it be funnier for them to find her and that sweet prince sucked dry the morning after?" She tapped her long fingers on her chin, amused- and ran smack into Nina, standing in front of the entry to the secret passage.

Kirara smiled at Nina. " Never said you were, just linked arms with ya. We'll be leaving right after this anyway." She had managed to say it before Nina slipped behind the thrones.
Kiara sat in the smaller purple throne. Her throne, and waited.
The tiwns chuckled as the queen said this, and they were shocked when she ran straight into Nina.

Anora was shocked and reeled back into the passage before righting herself and glaring at this servant blocking her path. "What is a thing like you doing here! Trying to harm me I have no doubt. I've tried to warn you to stay out of my way but enough is enough. If you don't watch yourself you're going to end up like that pathetic little mistress of yours, and sooner rather than later!"
Finished with her tirade, the queen stomped away, then closed her eyes and took a deep breath. It wouldn't do to have her subjects see her like this- unless it was their fault of course. I've got to get rid of Kiara and that other girl before they get rid of me!
"I have something wonderful to announce,"she said, smiling brightly."After much deliberation and thought..." She continued on like this for several minutes, hitting all the usual points and praising the ambassadors and their country unduly. Finally she paused and took a deep breath. "Congratulations to the newly betrothed couple, our very own Princess Kiara DeRienzo and Prince Stefan! The wedding will be held the following Sunday, four days from today, and all are invited!" Under the applause, Anora hissed at her daughter, "As if I didn't know what you and your servant were up to! Tonight is her last night anyway, and you're not far behind!"

The sudden shove from behind her startled Nina. She hadn't been focusing on the drafty passageway, but rather on the hall in front of her, and she mentally slapped herself as she struggled to apologize. "I'm so- your highness, I didn't mean to- I didn't know-" she stuttered awkwardly. But the queen never let her get a word in edgewise, just stalked off to announce the betrothal. She's so paranoid, she'll probably try to kill me off tonight at the latest, Nina thought with alarm and disgust. She sent a whisper of her voice to the Princess' ear. "Keep a straight face, say how glad you are, and skeddaddle. She's trying to cause a scene."

Kirara smiled, and waited for the applause to stop. " At last My mother has made a decision on who's going to try and run my life next!" She smiled to her mother. " I'm very happy to be controlled by such a troll monster, and passed to a new face. Sorry to say I really have to go scrub the floors in her royal troll's bedroom, so I must excuse myself now." She gave a slight bow, and a beautiful smile. Motioning for Nina to follow her she stepped away from the throne room, and into the hall. She couldn't help it anymore. She had to laugh at what she had said.

The contrast between Kaira's body language and her biting words shocked the room into silence, and Nina was able to slip out quietly after Kiara without much notice. Outside in the hall she couldn't help herself, the room behind her was still silent with shock and confusion. She burst into laughter, staggering against Kiara as they struggled to support each other. Finally she managed to gasp, "C'mon, they're really gonna kill us now," but that only lead to further hysterics. She staggered down the hall towards the Princess' room, gasping, holding her side, struggling to regain her composure. But everything she passed only further reminded her of what had just happened.

It took Queen Anora a moment to realize what her daughter had just said. As soon as her words sunk in, Anora gasped and turned beet red with anger."Well, that was certainly interesting, wasn't it?" she said with brittle brightness. "Now if you'll excuse me I have something to attend to..." she whisked herself back down the secret passage, motioning the twins to follow. "That's it. We're killing the little- the little- we're killing her. Right now," she muttered darkly. If someone sympathetic to the little b*tch heard her, she was past caring. Her feet pounded down the stone floors in a grim march.

When they were all packed up, and Kirara regained her composure she began to think. " We'll have to go out the window. She'll never let us just leave. She'll be coming to kill." She smiled, and waited for Nina's reaction.
" Yes my queen." They said together. The twins smiled, and followed the queen out of the passage. They were heading up to the Princess' bed room now.

Nina's eyes widened as the queen's words were carried to her by the wind. Quickly she drew in the breezes floating around the palace, creating a suction seal on the door that would make it very hard to open. Then she threw her luggage out the window and concentrated. The trunk stayed there, hovering as if waiting for her to get on. She smiled. "The wind I've gathered should hold us for about a mile, providing we don't run into any storms or such," she said proudly, and gestured for Kiara to throw her bag behind her.

The sudden rush of wind caught the Queen off guard, and she was knocked halfway down the hall. After it passed her by she marched up to her daughter's door and tried to open it. It wouldn't budge. "Come out, dear daughter, I know you're in there," she trilled. She gestured for the tiwns to help her with the door. "If you don't open up you'll be in a lot of trouble..."

The twins broke threw the suciton seal, and the door flew open.

"Did you mean i wasn't already in trouble?" She smiled as she threw her bag out of the window. " Such a shame i can't say goodbye, but at least you got to see me off!" She said as she threw herself out of the window.
