Reyen started to move but the teachings kicked in. Relax everything that matters. As he moved- he didn't stop- he relaxed visibly, and mentally. Observe your foe. The man was giving off heat waves, but otherwise not moving. As before, this likely meant he was readying some special ability. Remember his actions. Trash talk still seemed to affect him negatively, and that was an advantage that was easy to press. "You think you can make me stay down, eh? Well, as many have found out, the only way to keep me down is with a rather nice lady." The blade still out, Rey rushed forward, aiming to stab forward at the center mass of his opponent with his blade. He was pushing for some sort of movement. Mana: 60/160

Joseph noticed that the nerves in his abdomen where starting to numb, probably an after effect of being blasted by his opponents move and the first signs of a much greater injury than the first though. His brilliant orange eyes watched as his foe grew near, and then went into action.
First by moving out of the way to the right, Joe would prevent being hit by his opponents sword. Next he would attempt to grab his foe’s right arm behind the gauntlet with his left hand and with his right hand Reyen’s face. Following that he would attempt to sweep his opponent’s legs from under him, causing him to fall backwards in the direction of Joseph’s applied force. Finaly if this was all successful, the Goji worshiper would bring his entire weight down on the right side of his body, forcing his opponents head to slam into the arena floor.
He would hold this position if the above was successful attempting to keep his opponent immobile.

Rey assumed such a movement of his opponent would happen. It's not like the guy would get stabbed. Now, as for the movements themselves: Quote: First by moving out of the way to the right, Joe would prevent being hit by his opponents sword. Next he would attempt to grab his foe’s right arm behind the gauntlet with his left hand and with his right hand Reyen’s face. Rey tracked his opponent's movements, a slow grin slowly spreading across his face. He flipped the stiletto in his left hand to a traditional grip. Seeing the movement to the right, Reyen once again released his sword, and spun to his right, twisting as much of his body as was able. This included his right forearm, which he twisted in such a manner as to slash into his opponent's left shoulder, above Joseph's arm. A burst of Mana aided the process significantly. He moved his head far to his left; from their original positions, this would be pushing forward. Joseph, at this point would likely be vying for control of Rey's right arm, and whilst he did this, the Practitioner aimed his stiletto in his left hand at his opponent's right side, or, if the limb was in place, his opponent's right forearm. Now assuming the leg sweep continued, Rey would react by pushing forward, aiming to knock his opponent, who would be on one leg, onto his a**, and follow into what would be a very similar position. Use what you've got. "What, fire got your tongue?" Rey knew the risk of his actions; if his opponent had been readying the same ability as before, he would be scorched once again. But, that was the chance he was willing to take to gain yet another advantage. Mana: 59/160

Joseph felt every inch of metal cut into his body as his eyes changed to an electric blue. His opponent’s comments had some merit to them. The Goji worshiper was thoroughly pissed. His mouth opened and the Atomic Blast that had once burned his opponent shot out at Reyen’s face. If it hit, Reyen’s already burnt face would end up with 3rd or 4th degree burns due his already burnt status.
If this hit Reyen would undoubtedly be writhing in pain. Joe would then attempt to kick his foe in his chest to knock him down. “You blade is like a paper cut compared to Dzan’s ax. Come back next year, maybe you’ll do better.”

Pain. It was one hell of a motivator, even to someone like Reyen. Someone who had felt more than their fair share of agony, at all stages of their life. Someone who felt that the painless moment of their life were just there to make the pain more distinct. And so, when Joseph opened his mouth, Rey moved first. Mana rushed in to fill in the gaps of mental processing, his mind racing, excited. The vicinity around him seemed to crackle, rushing with latent energy. Rey's right arm was now slightly past his opponent's left, arm blade dripping blood, and Reyen's left arm was free, stiletto impaled into his opponent's right forearm. The blade was specifically enhanced to pierce just about anything and to stick in it. It had been used for climbing the sheer walls of building and castles for example. But very little of that was relevant. Fact was, Rey's hands were outside of his opponent's and getting them inside in time was impossible. So he did the only thing he could do; he improvised. His head was already slightly to the left, and the rest of his body thusly had a slightly leftward tilt. So, it wasn't too difficult for him to push as hard as he could from both of his feet to the left to avoid the blast of flame. This was pushing close to as hard as he could, a desperate move, and he would end up skidding along the arena floor a good ways, arm blade slicing a furrow wherever it slid. It would hurt, but at least it wasn't fire. The total distance of said skid would be roughly fifteen feet, and Rey would be a bit disoriented and thusly would not stand immediately. Mana: 29/160.

The Goji worshiper roared in pain, his right arm hurt like hell, and he was starting to feel the first stages of extreme blood loss. Blood oozed from his arms, and abdomen, caressing the charred flesh there, the nerves no longer able to respond to pain, in that region. With his left hand he grabbed the pill bottle that he still had in his pants pocket. Popping one of the pills, Joseph showed the crowd his last ace.
Joseph’s eyes became white orbs almost lifeless yet at the same time full of a dark fury. Along his back, dorsal spikes ripped from his back in the shape of spiked maple leafs. His skin had become like charcoal colored scales, his hand became claws, and a thick and powerful tail erupted from the back of his pants.
The dagger in his arm would now lay on the ground, pushed out by the transformation. Joe would grab it in his right hand and lick his blood from it.
“This ends now, before I can’t continue!”
The Goji worshiper charged his opponent, dagger held in an assassin style ready to cut and stab his foe in CQC. [Gojira form 1/8]

Reyen Targawyn rose in the classic parlor trick style, arcing his entire body to accommodate the quick change in posture. The thief's grin widened. . .Of course, with his face nice and crispy, grinning hurt a hell of a lot, but, after all, he was a professional. He had what one might call a half dragon barreling him down with one of his own signature extra sharp stilettos. What could possibly go wrong? Rey had less than a quarter of his standard Mana left, had lost his sword, two daggers, and his opponent was wielding one of his own "piercers." With another twist of his right arm, his third and final throwing dagger fell into his still bladed right hand, and left it shortly thereafter, with a target of his foe's left thigh. Whilst this was happening, his left hand drew his last stiletto from his right hip, and flipped it into a reverse grip. His plan was simple; as the humanoid dragon closed, he would intercept his own stiletto by way of the Practitioner's second blade, the one currently in his possession. The movement would be to catch the twin blade and move it harshly to Reyen's left and up, moving it, and the limb it was attached to away from the area of battle. As this was happening, Rey's right arm would pull back and rush forward, once again like a very fast snake. The blow would be aimed, once again, at Joseph's stomach. Let's hope this works. Mana: 29/160.

The Goji Worshiper grunted and slid to a stop as the throwing knife hit home. Looking up from the wound, he found he had slid up to Reyen. In a defiant roar Joseph let loose another energy pulse, hoping to knock his opponent back once again. If this worked he would throw the dagger he held at Reyen’s chest as he was knocked back. Finally in a fit of rage and adrenaline he ripped the knife out and tossed it to the side.
Still running on the fit of rage and adrenaline, when Reyen landed he would find Joe almost upon him, ready to start the final fist fight. [Gojira form 2/8]

[ Knife results, and pulse timing decided OOC. Constant OOC questioning has been going on for the majority of the fight between us, such as to clarify various points between us. ]Reyen saw the ever so beautiful results of his brilliant throw, and quickly made use of the action, striking fast, and straight, at the dragon's stomach, once again. Ten seconds after Joseph stopped, the pulse hit home once again, and Rey was knocked back the obligatory four feet. They were now four feet apart, and Rey waved his stiletto around defensively, prepared as before for any oncoming attacks. he stiletto caught Rey off guard slightly, but hit him with the hilt, winding him slightly. He readied, as before. Quote: His plan was simple; as the humanoid dragon closed, he would intercept his own stiletto by way of the Practitioner's second blade, the one currently in his possession. Joseph doubled over in surprising pain as the arm blade pierced his gut, and blood pour out. “******** readied himself staggering slightly and shook his head to attempt to shake off the dizziness in his head. His vision blurred then cleared.
The Goji-morph slowly broke into a running limp and then into a full on charge his left shoulder pointed towards Reyen in an attempt to bowl him over. If this worked, Joe would attempt to stomp on his opponent’s chest about five times.
