{Lavi Filstan} Lavi didn't fall asleep just yet. He peeked every now and then at Erin to see if he was asleep yet and Lavi glanced over to an old photo he had sitting on his desk.
"What is the pinky for?"
"It's for making a promise silly Erin! We have to lock them together or else the promise won't come true!"
The two locked their fingers before a younger Lavi smiled.
"I Lavi Filstan promise to keep you as a best friend forever!"
Lavi smiled at the now very clear memory as he looked at Erin. "Forever really is a long time...Erin Ishen. I had a feeling that my dad was telling naught but lies..." He grinned as he lied his head gently upon Erin's chest and cuddled up to him as he fell asleep.

 Erin had finally drifted to sleep, a pretty deep sleep as a matter of fact. Though even as he slept his muscles were tense, they probably wouldn't relax till hours had passed. He quietly groaned as he felt Lavi move closer to him. His head fell to the side as his mind beat back memories and nightmares just as usual.
When early morning came Erin was having one of his night mares again. It was from that one horrid night.
He relived as his parents were murdered infront of him by a slender red haired male. The cruel laughs echoed threw the grand hall as Erin, much younger then cradled his younger brother to him holding him close. Then as the man turned around his eyes burning with cruelty as Lavi stood infront of him instead of the usual Emperor.
Erin's eyes opened quickly and stared at the ceiling above him. He was hot and sweaty and had something wrapped around him. His eyes looked down and he scowled seeing Lavi curl up to him. Erin slowly slipped off the bed and retreated to the bathroom. He quickly figured out how to work the new shower like faucets and washed the dirt and swear off of him. After he had dried off and wrapped a towel around himself he went to Lavi's closet and borrowed a pair of pants before he left the room. It didn't take him much time to figure out how to get to the garden and he sighed softly sitting on a bench resting his elbows on his knees as his face rested in his hands.

{Lavi Filstan}Soon after that Lavi woke up and saw that Erin wasn't there. Not thinking much of it at first he slipped into a set of clothes and went to the bathroom thinking that maybe Erin was in there. No such luck. Now he was starting to worry.
"Erin? Erin? Erin where are you?" He then did something else his father never told him to do. He ran through the halls searching through every room possible and soon he accidentally ran into his father.
"What are you in such a rush for boy? I told you not to run in my halls! Aside from that...May I see your new pet? I bet he's hot and young too...."
"I'll show him to you later father. I need a stroll through the park."
"Come here boy..."
Lavi walked up to him and before Lavi knew it his father slapped him really hard on his cheek leaving a red mark behind.
"That's for running in the halls...Boy.." He scowled at him before walking off. When Lavi was certain that he was out of sight he checked all the remaining rooms before going out to the gardens holding his swollen face.
"Erin...there you are..I was really worried..."

Erin sat there for a while in the same position. He had been working hard on hiding his emotions again now only seeming flustered and annoyed. The man had lost his battle with his tears once but he had calmed down after a few minutes. He groaned and laid down on the bench. One of his legs was bent at the knee his foot handing off the end of the bench as his other foot rested on the ground.
When suddenly Lavi's voice fell threw the garden Erin jumped so bad that he fell straight to the ground. He scowled and looked up to Lavi. Though when he caught sight of the other's cheek his anger left. "What happened to your face?" he asked softly and stood up. His eyebrow rose as he heard the other say he was worried about him. "You were worried about your pet? Maybe you should get that head of yours checked out." he said soflty and stood up walking over to Lavi and grabbing the younger man's wrist pulling it from his face his other hand forcing the man to turn his head to the side as he looked the nice hand print over. Erin scowled his anger building up again.

{Lavi Filstan}Lavi was going to answer his questions and make a comment but the next thing he knew Erin's hands were on him as he inspected his face. "My father did it...It'll go away in a few days...It always does. While my younger brothers are angels in ny father's eye he calls me the royal screw-up. He's only kind to me because I'm the heir to the throne...but he punishes me for even the smallest things..."

Erin's grip tightened for a moment on the boy's chin and wrist before he pulled away and stepped back. He had an angered scowl on his lips as he crossed his arms infront of his chest. "If you still intend on me meeting your father put my shackles back on and behind my back or your father won't be breathing when I leave that room." he growled looking off to the side his deep purple eyes in a hard glare. He may still hold a grudge on Lavi and his whole family but his father was someone he could see himself taking his life with a blade.

{Lavi Filstan}To tell the truth Lavi had a deep hatred for his own father and he actually smirked when he thought about the damage that Erin could do to him. "I'm not putting them back on...I could care less if he continues to breathe...Him or my brothers...They can just...all go to hell..." Lavi went up to him and placed a hand in his and led him back to the house. "It's time that you met my father...I'll hold onto you in place of the shackles..."

If Erin could growl he would have. The last thing he wanted to do at this moment was see the man who murdered his parents and separated him from his twin. "How about I don't and we say I do." he mumbled. "And you had better hold them tight if he touches me he's a** is on the floor." he said slowly trying to calm down. 'If he touches you again too.' he thought.

{Lavi Filstan}If he touches you...I'll let you hit him back... Lavi found his father reading in his bedroom. "Father...I brought you my pet like you asked...His name is E." Lavi wanted to be the only one calling him Erin. His father walked over and looked the man over before grinning.
"Not bad...not bad at all. He's got a nice strong build...but his face reminds me of someone...someone I stepped on a long time ago. In other matters I figured out why you were running in the halls Boy...you lost your pet when you woke up this morning...didn't you? What did I teach you?"
"Keep pets on a leash and with you always..."
"And you broke that rule." His father raised his hand and slapped Lavi extremely hard in the face this time..so hard that Lavi was pushed back and his hands had completely let go of Lavi and Lavi realized this as well.
Well Erin? He didn't touch you...You want my family dead right? Ow...this hurts so damn bad...You wouldn't kill him on my behalf...would you? Slowly Lavi passed out because of the force of the impact and he had went through a table on the way down as well.

Erin scowled even worse and his eyes were glaring as if they were there own daggers once he heard the man speak of his family. Then he found out why Lavi was hit and he frowned guilt slowly creeping in but he pushed it down. The other knew not to run, he shouldn't have made it so damn obvious he'd lost Erin.
When then hand suddenly came down on Lavi's face next to him he winced as he heard the contact echo in the room. Then his hands were free and Erin didn't even think he just acted. The man's hands tangled in the Emperor's hair yanking on it and then he brought that ugly face down as he brought his knee up feeling bone crack underneath. Then he kicked the old man in his gut as hard as he could making him stumble back into his bed. Because of all of the commotion the guards ran into the room and tackled Erin down tying his wrists up. Then they were dragging him down and outside. He was in a dungeon like room within minutes but he couldn't take the smirk off of his lips sense he knew what was coming. Masochist much?
(Time skip like maybe a day?)

{Lavi Filstan}A few days had passed since then. The servants had told him that Erin had attacked his father. His father hadn't died but he came out with serious injuries and now he was to be executed. Lavi was currently in his room alone, wondering why he didn't just finish him off. He didn't want Erin to die and there was only one way to save him from the gallows. He would have to finish the job that Erin had started. It was late at night and Lavi snuck down into the dungeons and came across Lavi's cell. It was the first time seeing him since the incident. "Hello...You're not...upset with me about what happened...are you?"

Erin was laying on the floor in his cell his back to the bars. His body was riddled with bruises and cuts. The man's back was ripped open with long welts from a whip. His hands were still shackled behind his back and Lavi's once clean pants were torn and ripped. All this mess and it was only a couple of days. When Lavi spoke The light haired male slowly moved lifting his head to glance over to the other showing the fresh blood falling from his nose. "No. I'm not upset with you." He mumbled and set his head back down. "You should go before you get in trouble." he added in a soft mumble.

{Lavi Filstan}Lavi shook his head no. "I'm not leaving you again. You're Erin Ishen...aren't you? I made a promise to you that we'd be best friends forever and I intend to keep that promise...after what you did to my father on my behalf...I thought you hated me for something my father did long ago. But if what my father wants is a war then...a war he's going to get. I'm going to get you out of here." Lavi touched him through the bars before stepping back to look at him. "I'm sorry for what my family did to you...I'm going to give you a life for a life. Three of your loved ones were killed...In return I'll give you the blood of three of my own family members. My dad and two brothers...I'll save some and put it in a jar for you." He grinned before he stepped out and went back to his room to sleep.

Erin's muscles tensed painfully once he heard his name pass from Lavi's lips. He slowly sat up and turned to the red haired man listening to him speak. He finches as the other touched him. The man's purple eyes widened as he heard the other speak. It was shock that kept him in place. By the time he had regained his mental state Lavi was walking off. "Lavi! Wait come back here!" He yelled. He couldn't let the other do this. It was madness. It would make the man just like his father! "Lavi!" he yelled again but the man was already gone. Erin angrily kicked the bars and sighed.

{Lavi Filstan}Lavi slipped into his bed and drifted off into a sleep, knowing that if he didn't do this then Erin was going to get killed. he woke up in the next morning and to breakfast wondering how he was going to take care of them all.
