Grabbing a tray, Kofuku went through and just piled things onto it. "Oh! Chili!" She yelped out happily, making sure to get a few large helpings before grabbing a few other various things, ending her pillaging with a large glass of milk. Nina sniffled a little at the food, having perked up at the word 'chili'.

"It was just some understanding with the two of us though. We sort of see eye to eye for the most part, since both of us were abandoned." For a brief second, sadness crossed her face, but it was gone so quickly it left one to think if it wasn't imagined. Grabbing a spoon and a fork, she looked over to Will, giving him a look that read 'Is that all?' before shrugging a little. "Where do you usually sit?"

"Aww, I'm an exception!" She gave him a big grin, then dug into her chili, not minding when Nina got up onto the chair beside her and started to eat right off the plate.

Swallowing her mouthful, she shrugged a little. "If it is, I wouldn't know. It's not gourmet food, but it's nothing close to the crap I used to have to eat." Which was true; after eating mostly what you could find out of garbage cans for almost 5 years, you couldn't complain with free, healthy-ish food the HQ served.

The knowing grin that Kofuku had flashed him when he decided no to ask about the food should have confirmed his choice; it wasn't a topic to be talked about while eating.

Taking a few more bites of chili and a huge swig of milk, Kofuku licked away her milk mustache and nodded. "I'm in training to become an actual medic. I think I'd make a great nurse, since I don't faint at blood and I have a stomach of steel when it comes to the nasty stuff." Granted, Seth still scared the willies out of her. "Down side is that when I become an agent, if that actually ever happens, I'll be stuck mostly at the HQ, or where ever they decide to ship me off to."

A small smile played on her lips before Kofuku took another mouthful of her chili. Chewing it and enjoying it, she looked up at WIll again with surprised eyebrows, then swallowed.

"Well, I won't be anything more than 'Agent' status, and I won't be able to go out much on the field. But, I guess considering the fact that I"m a near-failure at being a trainer and that I'd never trained a pokemon before until I got my first one only a few months ago, that shouldn't be much of a surprise."

A rather warm smile came over Kofuku's face and she laughed. "I've been lucky so far, I"m sure one of these days I'm going to get someone who I can't control in the slightest. As it is, they all still have a mind of their own and one... no, two of mine can't seem to stay OUT of trouble."

She paused when the second question came up, then blushed and looked down. "I-it's a silly reason." She said, stirring the rest of her chili with a spoon.

Laughing a little, she looked up, her eyes lit a bit with probably the first soul-felt smile she'd given since the incident with Panther only a few days ago. "I took it because the head Doctor believed in me. It's something I've never had before, you know, someone telling me they believed that I could do it even though it's a lot of work." She clearly held this medic position close to her.

Passing the bowl off to Nina to be finished, she giggled. "See, told you it was silly, Willy." Oh yes, this was going to be her knew nickname for her new friend.

"Awww, why not? I think it's a cute nickname! Besides, what other nicknames could I come up with for Will, hm? At least with mine you have Koko, Fuku, Kofu, which sounds a lot like Tofu."

Nina licked the bowl clean, sitting quietly and watching the two. She'd begun to relax, seeing that Will wasn't making any moves after her trainer.

Kofuku blinked a couple of times, processing his statement, then laughed and grinned. "Fine! Consider it a deal then, Willy!" She did notice him looking at his watch and grimacing, and she pretty much knew what that meant; his time was up.

Looking over at Nina, who was licking the chili off of her face, Kofuku stood up. "Well, we should probably head on back to the HQ, I guess. Do you think you have enough time to escort us out? I can't remember which stairs it was out to the real world where my car is parked."
