"When you say problems, oh Edelweiss of Fruition," Azazel said, pretending to look hurt. "I surely hope you don't mean me! I came to offer my services, though I'm sure you know that by now."
He slapped himself in the forehead. "Of course, my manners! I am Azazel," he said, bowing at the waist, "Commander of the Neyaphim and leader of the Fire-Dancer hordes. It is my honor to meet you."

The girl grinned. "Charmed. By problems I was referring to the situation in general. I do not make it a habit to become involved with games that have such powerful players. What happens to this world's heroes, or this world for that matter, is of no consequence to me. I'm able to pack my bags and head home whenever I see fit. I have no interest catching the attention of beings that are on a level at or above myself. I do not involve myself unless there is something to be gained, or I have no way of avoiding it." she said, then glanced back over at Reaper. "Which I'm sure is another reason Reaper brought you here. Hoping that this would also spur me to lend my aid."

"Mm, yes," Azazel mused, stroking his goatee, "I do understand your sentiment there. I too could simply withdraw from this dimension and allow them to wallow. In fact, I'm starting to believe that I not only should, but that doing so would be productive for me."
He glanced at Reaper before speaking again. "However, I'm not positive that gambling in such a fashion is the wisest course, Edelweiss. In a situation like this, the beings that we're dealing with can also access us wherever we would try to go. If we lend our assistance to these people now, then we would stand a better chance in the conflict that would otherwise find us inevitably in the future. Don't you agree?"

The young girl smirked a bit and placed a small finger on her bottom lip as her features became thoughtful. "That possibility certainly does change things." she replied. Should something like that really happen, then her world would definitely have a problem. Her world rarely ever seen such trouble with beings such as this. "And it would certainly be beneficial to have allies to call on should something like that happen. Pausing another moment, she looked up at Reaper with a small smile. "He makes a rather strong case. This is a problem for everyone. And...I suppose lending my aid will be the best course of action as well."
Reaper hesitated a moment, glanced back over at Azazel, then sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "Alright...so how is this going to go?"
"I suspect we'll need to go over particulars first, correct?" the girl replied, glancing back up at Azazel.

Azazel nodded, pleased that someone had finally had the sense to listen to him. "If you tell me what you know, I can begin to formulate a strategy against this foe. I'll also join in trying to recover heroes and figure out how to track this being down, in the interest of time. Does that satisfy?"

Reaper hesitated a moment and leaned against the wall behind him. "Doctor Strange just vanished. Only thing we could find was a not he'd written with a list of names. All but two are missing as well. From what the g-, erm, woman said before she left, they are all captured. She left to bring back something that would help us find them, but she didn't say much more than that. There are a few other heroes around, out doing their 'jobs' since the others are gone." he replied. "If you need anything in more detail, you'll probably have to talk to one of our other magic users who have a better way of discovering things than I do."
"The woman in the mask preformed a spell to show what had happened when Strange disappeared." the small girl continued. "They weren't able to find out who or where though. And your Goddess dipped into the woman's memory to try and find out anything. I believe she was able to see bits and pieces, but the being didn't like her nibbing and stopped the spell. I believe she left to her own realm to retrieve something to find one of the missing. Odd though...even with her current lack of abilities, I'd have expected her back by now." she said, then glanced up at Reaper. "I have been watching a little bit."

Azazel stroked his goatee in thought as he absorbed all of the information. He would need that.
"Hmm. Well, I have a few things that might be able to help. For one thing, I think we can bypass the being's ability to shut us out, but...I don't think that plan will work. So I'll table that for now. As to the girl, do you think she's okay? If not, then perhaps someone should be sent to assist her. If you tell me where this realm is, I can check it out."

Edel paused a moment in thought. "I'm not sure she's in danger, but I'm not sure why it would take her this long to simply retrieve something. I don't think she'd have been foolish enough to try and locate the others on her own. But with her current lack of power, she may simply have trouble bringing whatever it is back. I can't really locate a "Goddess's" realm off the top of my head, but I would be able to do so in my shop." she replied.

"Perhaps you can lead the way, then?" Azazel asked, bowing and stepping aside to let Edelweiss lead.

The girl grinned and began walking down the street. "I will only allow you access to the main room of my shop, since this is more of a business type of thing." she said as she walked. Plus...the rest of her house was her home. She wasn't willing to let a demon, momentary ally or not, have access to any and every part of her little world. Not that it would do him much good anyway. Not with her magic and love of "Rose Red".

Azazel followed Edelweiss and Reaper in silence, taking in everything he saw, heard, and sensed and storing it away. He wouldn't forget anything here.
When they arrived, he said, "Are there any defense mechanisms I might want to know about? Because I can't deactivate mine, and I don't want your store to expel me."

The girl led them up to a brick building with a long wooden sign hanging by the door. 'Galdorcræft Lyftgeswenced' had been engraved into it with golden letters. She glanced back at Azazel and gave him a small grin. "Another reason I said that you would only have access to the shop." With that she turned and opened the door. Upon entering, there was a vast collection of what seemed to be anything and everything magic related. The more expensive or 'shouldn't be touched' items were sitting behind rather thick glass that had odd symbols carved into the edges of the glass. The room itself seemed to hum a magical energy, though it was manly from the items in the room, and the magic in the walls that seemed to be the same as every other building in the town. The rooms that were beyond the shop though...seemed...odd. Part had no magical scent whatsoever, and the rest seemed like there was an impenetrable wall that boxed in the entire room.
"You will be fine in here. Since I am personally allowing you to enter, you won't find any security other than what's securing my more expensive wares. Had I not been here, you wouldn't have been able to enter. Much like the 'wall' you're probably feeling for the other rooms. I advise you do not go near those doors or try to pass through the walls in any way. I am...particular about my privacy."

Azazel nodded silently, regarding the shop around him in silent interest. He could appreciate a good stronghold like this. Silent approval aside, he didn't really want to go wandering around in here anyway. He had a feeling that he would be in a bit over his head.
"So, what do I need to know to go help?" he asked cheerfully, looking at Edelweiss expectantly.

The girl smiled, then walked towards the far wall of the room and placed her hand on the wall. A moment later, everything around the wall melted and dissapeared. Just as quickly, a table and two chairs rose out of the floor. Once they were fully formed, a large orb rose out of the center of the table and hovered in the air about a foot above the table. The girl sat down in one of the chairs and propped her arm onto the side of it to rest her head on. She glided her other hand under the orb and casually brushed her fingers across the bottom of it.
"She's created her own little pocket dimension...she keeps her 'door open', but you can only find her realm if you already know of it's existance." she began, looking at the floating orb. Small glowing symbols began to appear within the orb. A dead, alien language...but she could translate it into something more 'Earthy'. Unfortunately with this kind of spell, she'd have go through a few other dead languages before she could get it into modern English. She shouldn't have to translate that far for Azazel to be able to read the location though. Under the symbols, more symbols appeared.
"A word of caution...she's had a rather traumatizing experience recently. I would not catch her by surprise, or do anything to seem like you're a threat."

Azazel peered at the symbols floating through the crystal ball, his gaze taking in every shape and character that appeared. After a minute, he nodded, his thoughts obviously turned inward. When Edelweiss mentioned the pocket dimension and the traumatic experience, Azazel nodded.
"That's probably a good idea," he said, imagining surprising someone of such apparent power and seeing where that got him. He turned to Reaper and said cheerfully, "Coming along?"
