Like Tish, Niko was also late, for a completely different reason. Demyx had decided to write Axel's name all over the walls in bright red crayon. Well, that's what the infant said he'd written anyway; to Niko's eyes it resembled something like Egyptian. In other words, it was absolute gibberish. Speaking of said little boy, Demyx was dressed as Little Boy Blue. The infant wasn't old enough to pay much attention to fairytales; but nursery rhymes were handy.

They were short enough to read before the infant fell asleep, and memorable. Demyx's favorite just happened to be the one that started "Little boy blue, come blow your horn." Thus, he was dressed in blue overalls with a white t-shirt underneath. White socks and black buckled shoes. On his head he wore a straw hat, and in his hand was a golden horn. Currently he was looking for his mother; Daddy had promised she'd be here. Then he spotted her. "Mommy!" he cried, pointing to her, in case Niko didn't see her. "Xelly!"

Niko chuckled. "Yes, yes, I see them," he said, making his way towards Tish. "Fancy seeing you here," he teased. Unlike Demyx, Niko wasn't dressed up. He kissed Tish on the cheek. "Has Thali been bothering you?" he asked, hesitantly. "She told me she was going to tease..." He swore in Elvish and broke off into silence.

At that moment, Thali (with Devin in hand) walked over to Tish. She tapped her on the shoulder, grinning. "Did you know, Tish? That you're engaged to someone who's barely thirteen when it comes to the human life span? Isn't that fascinating?"

Niko groaned, but did nothing to deny it.

Sammi gave a smile and a nod at Milo. "Agreed," she said, before giggling slightly. Yes, she supposed seeing Howl get hit by a girl was rather funny. "I"m not over emotional," she added. "I'm different." She thought so, anyway. She wanted to be different for Milo. "Want to play a game? There's beanbag toss, or there's--" she glanced around the room. "Well. I guess beanbag toss," she said sheepishly. "Or we could eat cookies and talk."

Loki shrugged. "If you don't believe in it, why should I?" he asked logically. The only reason he'd ever believed in it was his hope that he and Aesica would end up together when they were older. "Okay, I'll win you something," he said, before setting her down. "More and more people keep arriving," he mused, looking towards the door. "Do you want to go first?" he asked Reiya, as he noticed her with Eve.

"Do you want to try first, Eve?" Reiya asked, looking down at her friend. "You can; just throw the beanbag at a window or the door. You get three tries--and if you get all of them in, you win."

"I'm fine though," Howl insisted, before being tackled by Luvvie. He sighed. "Hello, Luvvie," he muttered. "Nice to see you." It wasn't exactly a secret that the wizard didn't get along with the little girl who insisted on calling him by a girl's name. "Again, my name's Howl. H-o-w-l. Rhymes with vowel. Not Lindsey."

Tish let go of the wriggling Axel and watched him run over to his brother, tackling his water-tied twin in a pint-sized bearhug. She noticed Luvvie tackling Howl out of the corner of her eye, and then lost track of all of her children when Thali's words broke through her mind. "What?" she asked flatly, her face going pale and her eyes widening.

Behind her, Miri peeked her head around, red ribbon bobbing as she looked around at the gathered children. Spotting an unobtrusive corner, the tiny, de-masked snow white made her way over to it and sat down, half hidden behind a fake castle.

Luvvie giggled and hugged Howl tighter. "I know," she chirped gaily. "But I like callin' you Lindsey!"
