User Image"Alright. I hope you can all climb.. we're not going to be strolling up the gang plank." TRP smirked as she hurried back out into the night and toward the ship. Faded paint on the rusty hull read The Empoleon.

Indeed, TRP didn't lead the group to the ladder beside the ship. Instead she guided the Rockets to one of the thick ropes tying the stern of the ship off to the dock. Cat-like, she sprang onto the rope and held on tight, swinging until she was dangling beneath it by her arms and legs. After casting a glance at the group to ensure they knew to follow suit, she made her way up the rope toward the deck of the ship.

Furin floated ahead to ensure the coast was clear. Being small and inconspicuous clearly worked in the little windchime's favor. "Chii.." she whispered softly as she peeked over the hull and nodded back at the others.

TRP nodded at Furin's all clear and pulled herself up onto the deck. Whatever security the ship had obviously wasn't focused on the threat of invaders climbing onto the rear of the vessel.

User Image When TRP began to climb up the rope there was only one thing left for the group of grunts to do: follow suit. Since no one seemed to be jumping up to go next, Bonnie shrugged her shoulders and moved to go after the blonde. Someone had to go next, after all. Taking hold of the rope, she then made sure it was secure before proceeding to go up.

Banshee, being a ghost pokemon, didn’t have any trouble following along after her trainer. She just noiselessly floated along up toward where the windchime was situated, but went a bit slower to make sure her trainer made it up okay. Once Bonnie was safe and secure on the ship, the Mismagius let out a quiet and content, “Miiis…” of a response. She was glad the girl was okay.

All Seth could do was sigh and stand there next to the rope with his arms crossed irritably. He would have to stay here and keep watch.

Nikki however, watched as TRP climbed up the rope, and then soon after jumped in to start her ascent as well. Ending up following Bonnie on the way up.

User ImageNyx followed the Elite. Once she saw the rope she looked nervous. She didn't like the size ratio between her limbs and that rope. That, and she was no athlete.

No way around it. Nyx clumsily tried to imitate TRP's spring onto the rope, but unlike their graceful leader, almost lost her grip. Once she steadied herself, she swung her legs up, wrapped them around as well as her arms, and shimmied up the rope in her best imitation of a hanging Slakoth.

User ImageSorano followed after the ivory haired female, curling around the rope like a slithering Ekans. Never was clinging to his back, yawning again out of boredom. The Flareon was certainly not going to be returning to his ball nor did he have the proper utensils to scale upon a dangling piece of braided threads. When he finally reached the surface of the boat's rear, he groaned. Ow.

Horatio floated over towards the other two ghost pokemon, curious. This was interesting, quite interesting indeed.

Following after TRP, Jen slipped in with the rest of the group and walked quietly as they reached the ropes tying the ship to port.

At that their leader did, the Grunt did all she could to hold back her snickers. This was totally Mission Impossible style! Not that she was mad about it; on the contrary, she was supah excited. These werent things she would have been able to do back home.

Mimicing the Rockets before her, Jen sprang onto and gripped the slick rope best she could; taking a moment to judge how much a grip she'd need, she swung legs up and started to shimmy up as quietly as she could. Perhaps having Jen come up behind behind would force Nyx to move faster!

User ImageAfter watching a few of the other grunts climb the rope, he glanced around, idly wondering if any of the others would bail at the idea of climbing a rope. They shouldn't, not after training. He waited for the latest grunt to climb all the way up before jumping across and climbing it. With four limbs working together, it was a simple feat, and he quickly scaled the robe, not wanting to be dangling above the water too long.

..well okay then. This mission was just full of surprises.

Hayes followed after his partner, kneeling on the splintering dock to take hold of the thick rope and make his way up. The motion brought his arms above his head - something his right protested - but apart from a wince and a quiet 'ngh' the agent didn't show his discomfort and scaled toward the ship at a steady pace. The endeavor required more upper body strength as the rope began to slope upward, and the blond's fingers found crevices between the turns in the rope.

Dark water sloshed quietly below, carrying the scents of an active port - engine oil, sea brine, decaying plant matter - but eventually Hayes found his fingers on a doubled-over knot and then flaking metal railing which he pulled himself over.

His boots touched down on the deck with a dull, soft sound.

Dusting rust off his gloves, the agent reached up to adjust glasses that weren't there and did a quick head count while the pain in his shoulder ebbed.

Dammit, dammit, dammit, dammit... The words echoed through Lilith's thoughts as she ran as silently and as quickly as she possibly could through the port town. She was so disgusted with herself... How the hell could she forget that she was chosen for this important mission?! She ran swiftly through the shadows, taking care not to be spotted by anyone, with Serafina the Charmeleon tagging along behind her, tail burning low so as to not attract attention. After what seemed like an eternity of running, she reached the warehouse and found the ship where the rest of the agents were crossing. She paused to catch her breath for a split second and proceeded over to where the others were crossing over.

As Lilith neared the group, she could recognize a few of the faces. Among them were TRP... It was obvious that she would be there. There was the green-haired guy whose name escaped Lilith, and standing guard was, of course, Seth. Great. That was all Lilith needed. She grimaced to Serafina, who was close behind her, and she walked up to Seth and saluted. "Evening, sir. I apologize for my tardiness." While speaking, she kept direct eye contact with the Elite agent. She heard stories of his brutality, and she was not going to let him intimidate her.

User ImageOnce the group was assembled on the deck TRP nodded her approval and spoke in a hushed voice, "Alright.. we're splitting up now. One large group of us charging through the ship is more likely to draw attention. My group will go to the forward hold, Nikki and Hayes' group will take the aft hold. Remember, quietly subdue anyone you encounter. Radio use is only for emergencies if we need to evacuate. We'll all meet up afterward at Warehouse 9.

"Half of you with me, half with Nikki and Hayes. Anyone who argues about which group their in is getting pushed overboard." After casting the group a serious look TRP turned to lead the Rockets who opted for her group toward the nearest door to the ship's interior.

User ImageNever hopped off his trainer's shoulders and stretched. A small smirk formed on his face next. This is where the real action begins. If he had fingers, he would have steepled them. Excellllennnnt . . .

Sorano had no idea who he was to be placed with. Was he with the two agents or with the elite? Argh, this was so confusing! Opting for a random choice, the teal-haired male hopped over to where he believed he belonged. He hoped he made the right choice.

Well this was certainly no contest over which leader she was following. With a hand on her belt, not before waving them a bit to get the grime from the rope off, Jen made way after TRP.

This would be the first time the Grunt worked with the Elite Agent. Hopefully it would be a better experience than her previous encounters with the other leaders of Team Rocket back at HQ.

Mission Start. Objective...um...somewhere in the hold down below. Primary route? Follow the boss lady and keep quiet.

Simple objective.

Zach had recalled Amaryllis for the time being since she probably wouldn't have an easy time of climbing the rope, leaving only Ishiyu out. As TRP didn't seem to care who went with who as long as they didn't argue over it, Zach went and walked over to Hayes, preferring to be in the group that had a leader he was familiar with.

User ImageNyx watched her partner scoot over towards TRP, so she scooted right along with her.

Hopefully they wouldn't encounter much of anyone to subdue, but Nyx kept a hand hovering around Beaker's pokeball, just in case. The little squirtle was really Nyx's only battling pokemon.

When Lilith showed up, Seth gave her a withering glare.

"I'm not the one you should be apologizing to." The elite growled lowly before jabbing a thumb up in the direction the others went. "Get up there before I kick your a** myself."
