"Ah! Good Evening, young sir! I see you're looking rather dashing! It suits you well! Like a... Like a dandy~!" Having moved away from the staircase, he was now sitting in a rather cusiony chair in what seemed like a home office, with lacquered wood furniture, and a lining of oak book cases. He, himself, was simply sitting back in the chair, his feet on top of his desk, crossed at the ankle. If anything, he seemed more like a teenager, rather than a man in his late twenties.

"How are you feeling? How is your back doing? Do you need masseuse or anything? How about some food, I know you like food, EVERYONE likes food, what kind of food do you like?" the man talked as quickly as ever, though everyone just seemed to find it amusing. It was part of his charismatic charm.

"I want to thank you once again for saving my little Melon!" At this, Dinnye seemed to puff out his cheeks. He was so not a melon! He was a Dinnye! A good Dinnye too! Little did he know, his name did, indeed, mean Melon. "I'd like to grant you one wish! Sure, I'm not a genie, but I want to make your wish come true!"

Kiyoshi couldn't help but to flush a little bit at the compliments given to him as he wasn't used to such words since he didn't usually go anywhere that he could be given such compliments. Or if he had been given them he'd never really noticed before now, "Ahh, thank you, your far to kind." He said, giving the man a smile before he looked down at Dinnye who was standing at his side.

"My back? Its a little sore but nothing to worry about." He assured his host, after all he had been hurt making sure that Dinnye wouldn't sustain any injury, as such his pain was well worth it, "A... masseuse?" He seemed to think on that for a moment, more because he was trying to place the word then trying to decide if he needed one, "Oh! No, no thank you. I wouldn't want to make anyone wait on me in such a manner." He said when he recalled what that word meant, while it half sounded nice he didn't want to ask anyone to do such a thing for him.

After the massage he was offered food, another thing that sounded tempting, "I would hate to put anyone out with having to make me anything when I am able to make my own food." He told the man, then couldn't help but to laugh at what he said last, "Please, please. All of these things your offering, a massage, food, wishes, I don't require any of it. I helped Dinnye because it was the right thing to do, because I was worried for him and didn't want to see him hurt. I didn't do it for a reward so you needn't give me anything." He said, one hand moving to stroke Dinnye's hair in a manner that was gentle, as though to again remind himself that the boy was alright and standing next to him. That had been to close a call for Kiyoshi's liking but since everything was alright now he was trying to keep himself from fretting anymore then he already had.

"Such a kind young man... The world needs more people like you. And So earnest as well!!" Elliot nodded wisely to himself, finding his heart fill with warmth as his son addressed Kiyoshi with such affection. "I must say, Dinnye, you're more like a kitten now, rather than a melon."

Even as he said that, something akin to a purr came from the depths of the little child's throat, instantly sending blood to dust his cheeks in a vibrant red. You know what? At this point, He didn't care what his father said! He took pride in the fact that he adored the milk pocky boy for saving him! It wasn't a crime at all, now was it? As the hand stroked his hair, he moved in closer, so that the was leaning against the other, hugging him around the waist.

Just as Elliot opened his mouth to say something more, there was a crack of lightning and a large rumble of thunder, causing a few yelps to be heard around the household, and the arms of Dinnye tightened just a bit around Kiyoshi, his eyes hidden from the flashing lights right outside the window.

"Ah.. It seems that the weather isn't getting any better... You should spend the night here. I'm sure we have plenty of space for you." Elliot moved from behind his desk, opting to sit on the front of it instead. He was never one who enjoyed having objects separate him and the person he was talking to. "Of course, if you wanted to, you do not have to have your own room, you could bed with little Dinnye here. I'm sure he'd be crawling into someone else's bed anyway, he was never a strong one when it came to loud noises."

In saying this, Elliot received a glare from the little melon. Cute, but a glare non-the-less.

Kiyoshi's cheeks colored slightly when he was given such a compliment from Elliot, "That is very kind of you say." He murmured, looking down at the boy who was standing so close to him, hugging his waist in a manner that had the older boy smiling. His head jerked up, turning toward the window when it was filled with a flash of bright lightning that was followed with a rather loud crash of thunder that almost shook the house, "Woah..." He breathed, feeling quite surprised by that.

The rain had turned to something far stronger it would seem, a storm was coming in and he couldn't help but to worry about the fact that it seemed quite dangerous and the walk home would be a long one... and then suddenly, as though reading his mind, Elliot was offering to let him stay the night, "That is... quite kind of you." He murmured, the other things he had been able to refuse because he hadn't felt as though he'd needed anything but this was different, to be allowed to stay here was something he needed, "If your sure that it won't be a bother?"

His attention dropped to the boy that was clinging to him, face hidden, as the lightning outside danced across the sky, "I don't mind looking after him if he wishes it." He said, he'd never shared his sleeping space with someone before so he didn't know how well he would sleep but that didn't matter as much to Kiyoshi as looking after Dinnye, as well as Elliot if he needed it.

"I only say what I mean." Elliot replied, smilling, but serious all the same. He didn't seem the least bit phased by the roaring sounds coming from the outside. He seemed.. Almost comfortable by all the racket.

"How can it be a bother if you agreed to watch over my son? Just keep him safe and you are free to stay as long as you like. " There was a few rapid knocks on the door, before a large, broad man came in. He wasn't muscular, but he did seem to be very strong, with long black hair tied down in a manner that was similar to that style that Kiyoshi currently had his.

"Elliot, Are you alright?" was the first thing this dapper of a man spoke, his voice strong, yet worried. "I heard you had fallen..."

"Yes, yes, I'm fine, Please, Don't worry."

"I'll have to give you a look over." At this, the man grinned, going over to Elliot and picking up out of the chair, holding him bridal style. "It's for your best interest, Master."

"What did I just say! I'm Fine!!" Elliot, though trying to be angry, came off in a giggling fit, simply giving in in the end. "I'm sorry, but it seems our meeting has to be cut off. I'll see you two in the morning..."

The butler brushed passed Kiyoshi, squeezing the man in his arms tightly in his arms, before disappearing down the hallway.

Dinnye was at a complete loss at what just happened, for he was still hiding against Kiyoshi's side, shaking with fear. Fortunately, a maid at the same time, poked her head into the doorway, giggling.

"Ah.. That man.. He is Master Elliot's.. Uh.. Um... Top butler!" She wasn't sure if it was appropriate or not to tell the two who exactly he was... After all, Dinnye was too young to understand, and the other.. Well, he was rather young too.

"You two can go down to the kitchen for a snack. It's right down the staircase, and to the left, through the dining room."

Kiyoshi turned to look at the man that came into the room so suddenly, starring at him with a somewhat calm manner as he came in, swept up Elliot into his arms, and then turned to leave just as quickly as he'd come in, brushing passed him. He blinked then turned to look over his shoulder, "Odd... I get the feeling he doesn't like me." He murmured, just the way the man had acted in coming in to take Elliot away in such a manner, brushing passed him, not really acknowledging him, he gave a little sigh feeling a bit as though he didn't really belong in this place. Elliot's 'servant' seemed to make that clear enough.

"Come on then Dinnye." He murmured, finding himself feeling a touch envious of the butler as Elliot was rather cute... not to mention that Kiyoshi had nobody like that. The man had been sure to mark his territory and in way that Kiyoshi wouldn't miss. Elliot belonged to someone and wasn't to be approached it would seem.

"Lead where you would like to go Dinnye." He murmured, trying to get his mind off of where it had wandered for a moment. Ah well, not as though any of what he'd been thinking was at all important after all since it was just the white haired boy having a slight interest in the man because he seemed the sort that needed looked after... and he already had a guardian it seemed.

Dinnye looked up at the milky white fellow... And he saw an expression his father had so many times before... He seemed so.. Alone.. And hurting... Maybe he was just imagining it, but it seemed all too familiar. Just when he thought that he would never see that expression again..

"Here, let me lead you. Just incase the power goes out." The maid wasn't blind either, taking Kiyoshi's hand and leading him downstairs. "The master.. He was raised with that man. They grew up together. No one knows who he is, or what his name is, but just recently, he returned after a long, long journey, only to serve under our master again..."

Something akin to a romantic sigh came from her. "And as soon as he came back, he swept the master off of his feet, and carried him away." She leaned in close to whisper into the boy's ear. "I heard he had lost his virginity the night he came back, the master did." Pulling away, she laughed again, hiding her smile behind a white, gloved hand.

Dinnye made a face at her, knowing how big of a gossip she was, but he loved her like a mother, and simply found contentment holding onto Kiyoshi's other hand tightly as they made their way through the rumbling building. Every creak, crack, crash, rumble, boom, and shake, made the child whimper, though he dare not close his eyes, for fear of taking a tumble.

Soon Enough, he found his little group inside the kitchen, a place of silver and white magic!

"Shall I cook you two up a snack before you head on up stairs once more?"

Kiyoshi gave a slow, pained nod of his head, "I see." He murmured, seeing no idea what else he should say when told such a detailed story as that. At least it told him that his guess about that possessive man that had come into the room was right, not that he'd been hard to read. He was quiet as he was lead along from the office to downstairs by the maid who was holding onto his hand. He looked down at Dinnye and shoved the thoughts and feelings aside, deciding that such things were just silly anyway.

Instead he would think instead for the one that was in his charge, lowering a hand down to rest it on Dinnye's shoulder in a gentle manner, wanting to sooth him when he saw the look on his face, he looked as though he were afraid and that was the last thing that he wanted, "Its going to be alright." He told him in a gentle manner, "Storms like this pass and soon enough the clouds will part and the star will be full of stars again, I promise."

He looked over at the woman as they came into the kitchen, "Alright, but nothing to heavy since Dinnye will be likely going to sleep soon. If he eats something to heavy he will end up with a stomach ache." He murmured, sounding a bit like a parent himself even though he didn't have a child of his own yet. Taking care of Dinnye though gave him the thought and desire to have one of his own one day, it was something he might see about looking into he decided to himself silently.

Something just wasn't quite right anymore, and it bothered the muted melon greatly. Sure, he was frightened, storms always scared him, in fact, many things scared him, especially situations where he could not scream for help, but that was not the point. The point was that he could just tell that something had changed about his darling savoir.. As look of sadness, a look of lonliness.. And it just broke his heart.

... But what could he do? He was just a little boy.. Just a child who wasn't capable of even saving himself yet... He knew nothing about the way an older heart feels, he didn't understand the relationship that his father had with the butler.. He understood none of it, and yet he wanted to help.. He was snapped out of his musings when the maid offered him a half of a turkey sandwich, offering the other half to Kiyoshi.

"There." She spoke, smiling at the two who seemed to be a bit lost at the moment. "Turkey is a wonderful sleep aid. I hope you both enjoy. When you are finished, just leave your plates on the counter, alright?"

Dinnye nodded, leading Kiyoshi over to a table and sat down in a chair. He had been hungry.. But after seeing Kiyoshi saddened, he had lost his appetite, simply poking at the sandwich before him. It was times like these where he absolutely hated himself. He was unable to form words, ask questions without putting up a struggle.. No was he able to comfort those who needed. He simply despised himself for being so... Weak.

Kiyoshi looked down at the food handed to him and he gave the woman a smile, "Thank you, preparing food for us. It is very kind of you." He told her, not quite used to having someone prepare things for him in this manner. Sure his parents had done so when he was younger but when he grew he had started to take care of himself. To have someone do something for him had him quite humbled. He looked down at his sandwich before he lifted up to take a bite from it, "This is really good." He complimented her sandwich making skills.

When they were told to leave the dishes his eyes went wide and he gave a slow nod though he meant to wash their dishes as it wouldn't feel right to just leave his dishes laying around since that could attract ants or something. He followed after Dinnye, sitting down before he continued to eat a few more bites before realizing that Dinnye wasn't eating, "Not to hungry?" He asked of him in a concerned tone, "Is the storm scaring you to much? I promise that it will be alright, nothing to worry about since its outside and we are inside." He tried to reassure.

He finished off is sandwich before he gave the melon boy a gentle smile, "I understand if you don't want to eat though, we can wrap it up and put it in the fridge for you for later if you would like."

"Haha! You've very welcome young man, but I must admit, there's no real trick to making a good sandwich. Well, I suppose there is one, but this can be applied to all foods. The more love you put into it while making your food, the better it will taste. Even if I were to cook Brussels sprouts, they would taste good if I put enough love and care into it. Love, in cooking, means being willing to bend to the other's taste. Giving up a bit of freedom in cooking can lead to many things!" The maid seemed very please at the compliment, even though it was simply a sandwich. Soon enough, she wiped her hands on her apron and turned away. "I bid you two good night!" She sang, before disappearing down the hallway.

With a shake of his head, Dinnye pushed the plate away, looking down at his hands. What to do.. What to do... He felt that it was needed to comfort the older boy, especially with how well he was being treated.. Jumping down from his chair, he made his way over to the fridge, wrapping up his sandwich and sticking it inside. Although he wasn't too hungry, he was sure that he would want to eat it later. That Particular maid, Miss Aliciana, always did the best cooking.

After such, the melon returned to Kiyoshi's side, tugging on his hand. It was time for bed...

Miss Aliciana, foreseeing this, layed out some pajamas for the two on Dinnye's massive bed, then smiled. Perhaps she could snap a few pictures of the cute pair sleeping then share them with her fellow maids!
PostPosted: Thu Nov 11, 2010 11:42 am

Kiyoshi seemed to be listening closely to what the woman was saying before he nodded his head, deciding that he rather liked the sound of her ideas on what made food taste better. Love, huh? He gave a smile. That sounded really nice indeed. He lifted a hand to wave to Aliciana as she bid them good night and headed out of the room. She really was a nice woman, wasn't she? A bit eager to tell stories about people but still a nice person and one that he found himself liking... not that he could think of to terribly many people that he didn't like. Kiyoshi just didn't have it in him to dislike people.

He light colored eyes turned to look at Dinnye, watching the boy as he moved to set to work wrapping up his food and putting it away in the fridge. As he did so Kiyoshi gathered their small amount of dishes, bringing them over to the sink so that he could wash them. When the few chores were done Dinnye was at his side, giving his hand a tug, "Lead the way and we will go to sleep." He told the boy, giving him a smile as they walked along.

The walk to Dinnye's room had Kiyoshi once more admiring the house, how big it was, how nicely decorated it was, so very different from where he lived he thought to himself before they headed into the room. Already there were pajamas awaiting them, something that had him wondering who had found them and was so kind to lay them out. He would have liked to have been able to thank them, "Alright, lets get changed into our night clothing and we can get some rest. I am sure it will be good for the both of us." Kiyoshi worried that his back was going to be stiff tomorrow, that likely meant he wouldn't be able to spend the day practicing his archery as he normally did. That worried him a little as he didn't want to grow rusty but he reminded himself that it was a fair price to pay since Dinnye was safe.

The Milk Pocky boy was only to happy to change out of the clothing he was wearing. It wasn't because he didn't like it but more because it was really nice and he worried about doing something that ruin it. He couldn't fathom what he would have done if that had happened. He folded each item of clothing neatly and set it aside on Dinnye's dresser to be found by those who would know where it went. Likely to be cleaned before it was hung back up somewhere. He changed into the pajamas that were laid out for him. From there he removed the ribbon in his hair, braided it tightly, then moved to retie it around the base of the braid tightly. This way his hair would stay neat through the night, "Phew, done." He said, then turned to Dinnye to see if he needed any help.

Dinnye's room, when compared to every other room in this hous, was vastly different. it was large, yes, but there wasn't much in it. Dinnye didn't really care that he was rich, or that his father tried to buy him everything he wanted, because he didn't want much. The bed seemed to take up most of the room, the head board underneath a large window, then there was a closet not too far away, closed. That closet always frighted Dinnye; it was large, and spacious, and a perfect place for a person to hide..

Eying the closet wearily, the melon changed into his pj's quickly, before flopping onto the bed. By the time he got there, Kiyoshi had just finished changing, and in response, he simply shook his head.

The storm outside was raging like a mad man, the wind blowing angrily, and the clouds showed no mercy as the weather slowly began to decline. It was nights like these where Dinnye would go through the house, looking for someone, anyone, to find comfort in.. But tonight, he already had his comfort, and it was so much more pleasant.

"...." With a gentle tug, Dinnye had moved it so that Kiyoshi was sitting on the bed, and he, himself, knelt beside him, his knees near his bottom. A blush as red as cherries found it's way to his cheek as he leaned up, kissing Kiyoshi softly on the cheek. his way of thanks for helping him so very much.
PostPosted: Mon Nov 15, 2010 12:12 am

When beckoned to do so the milk pocky boy had sat down on the edge of the bed and watched as Dinnye climbed onto the bed next to him before leaning up to give him a kiss on the cheek. Kiyoshi's cheeks colored just a little at the gesture before he smiled, "Thank you." Dinnye really was such a sweet little thing he thought to himself, the sort that he was more then happy to look after and keep safe.

He wrapped an around around him, lifting the boy up as he rose to his feet and moved the two of them so that he could pull the covers down, setting Dinnye down first before he laid down with him, "Its been a while since I have slept with anyone else, I used to when I was really little with my sister when things scared me." He told him, not that there were a whole lot of things that could scare him given his parents and the ones that they worked with but on occasion a few things intimidated him, "Come on, we will curl up, keep warm, and not worry about the storm." He told Dinnye, determined to keep the boy safe and make sure that he got a nice nights rest.

As they laid down he gave Dinnye a little kiss on the top of his head as his good night kiss.

This warmth.. It started from the place where Kiyoshi kissed his head, then traveled all the way down to his toes and fingertips. It was different then the warmth that the maids, butlers, and even his father could provide..

No, he was being silly.. He couldn't feel like this about an older boy.. No... It would be wrong. But for now, he would enjoy this. He pressed his lips gently against where the other's heart would be, then readjusted himself to a more comfortable position. His ear was pressed against the other's chest, finding comfort with each beat of the other's heart, lulling him to sleep.
