    Zori & Suki & Kai & LunaThe four members of Team Stormcloud came rushing in, more than a little bit late. They'd been all the way across the Guild when the bell had rung, and only arrived in time to catch sight of what had to be the largest, most ferocious Tangrowth any of them had either seen. Covered in blood. And attacking Guildmates. Ah ****.

For all their effort, and the guild's, it seemed they were no closer to actually bringing the monster down. Demetri watched for only a second as he gathered more energy for another fire attack."What's it gonna take to bring this thing-" Demetri's sentence was abruptly cut off as another tentacle suddenly shot towards them and yanked him forwards along the ground. Grimacing, Ruana ran after him, using a vicegrip attack to yank the vine from its owner and free her partner.
Demetri stood up, shaking out his fur quickly, and growled, rushing at the tangrowth on impulse, slamming into the beast with reversal.

Armand quickly snuck up behind the Tangrowth and gave it a good smack on the head, Astonishing it. Veronica pounded a nearby pillar in frustration and caused several pieces of rubble to land on the thing's head. Damon on the other hand, was swiped so forcefully, he fell unconscious. ((2 hits))

Frowning slightly at Selena for a moment, Blade nodded curtly and flew back down to where Solaris was standing and used Metal Claw to cut through any vines that got too close to the Espeon. His moment of vague caring about the Umbreon's well-being had passed, and now he was back to not giving a damn whether or not she got torn limb from limb by this Tangrowth. Frankly, he figured he'd only saved her because of her being related to Solaris; sort of like an old times' sake kind of thing. Or maybe it was momentary insanity, who knew.
Both Jonah and Zaru were suddenly being swamped by vines, and were too busy dodging and attacking them to actually deal with the Tangrowth itself. They might as well leave the kids to finish the job, give them a chance to build character and whatnot.     Tavian && Cael && Cerberus && Rembrandt && Ivy
Rem simply continued Teleporting around the room with a now-crying Ivy in his arms, avoiding the vines as Cael slashed through more attacking vegetation with Night Slash and Iron Tail.
Cerberus sat down and let his tail wrap around his paws as he glanced nervously at the ceiling, floor... everywhere but at the Ninetales. If he looked at her, he just knew he'd say something stupid, he had to think of something cool...
"Um... the monster sure is ugly this time, huh?"
What? That wasn't cool! That was akin to talking about the weather! What was he, stupid or something?! Oh man... now what?

As the blast from Spike's cannon hurtled out and slammed into the creature, a white light filled the room from the resulting explosion.
"Nice work, Spike!" The Umbreon crowed.
The Tangrowth fell forward, landing on the ground with a thundering slam. It seemed to have been defeated for a moment, but slowly its vines slithered out and it forced itself back to its feet.
Solaris and Selena both glared at he creature, both tired and at a loss.
This damned thing just wouldnt die.
Spira bit her lip, not even Spike's machine had taken it out. What would they do now?
Oblivious to the danger, Donovan was attempting to wake his brother by shaking him violently by the shoulders.
In a last ditch effort he raised a hand to strike Alfred when the Gardevoir caught his fist.
"...what?"
Alfred opened his eyes, now black and green. A lime green Psychic aura flared up around him, engulfing him in an eerie glow.
"Move out of my way."
He stated, voice warped as though more than one voice was speaking.
The Gardevoir lifted a hand and Donovan was thrown aside by a Psychic attack, the shackles on Alfred's wrists rattled violently and then shattered into a fine black dust.
"ObLiTeRaTe."
What looked like a shadow ball formed before the Gardevoir and then it launched forward at the staggering Tangrowth, shifting into a lime green colored arrow that shot right through the creature's chest.
At first it seemed to do nothing and then as if it was being torn apart from the inside the Tangrowth crumbled, breaking apart like glass until nothing was left but a wispy white smoke.
"WHAT THE F-"
Luckily Donovan's crude remark was stopped when he had to catch the Gardevoir as he fell back and collapsed.
The Gallade blinked.
What...the hell....was that?

Xavier blinked in surprise. Hold on. If the damned psychic was that strong then why did he allow himself to be caught?!
...Oh geez, was it too late to appologize about the dress jokes he'd made?
Jazz sighed, leaning with his back against Siggy.
What a hassle.
The Ninetales blinked at the comment. An odd comment, but...he seemed to be acting awkward so it was alright.
Maybe he was nervous like her? Naw, couldnt be.
"...I suppose. At least...it is gone now."

[Rewards next post! ;3...you guys really had it out for this Tangrowth. XD;]

"Ha-HA! Take that!" Autumn crowed, grinning as the Tangrowth fell. The Good Doctor was occupied wiping the sap off of his scythe, but a smile appeared on his face as well...which promptly disappeared when it pushed itself back up. Wordlessly, the teammates watched Alfred's attack and its effects on both the Tangrowth and the Gardevoir.

After hitting the tangrowth, Demetri jumped back some, promptly tripping over some of the vines still slithering around on the ground. The growlithe crashed into the ground, but perhaps out of sheer terror of being so close to the beast, pushed himself up again and darted back to a relative safe range near his partner.
Just in time, too, it seemed; something that seemed extremely strong slammed into the tangrowth soon after, making the creature tumble to the ground. Despite the pain now coursing through his lower jaw, Demetri gave a whoop of victory, which slowly died off as the beast got up again.
"Die already!" Demetri growled, thoroughly annoyed by this pokemon's resilience, about to use another flame wheel. Abruptly his partner noticed the glowing gardevoir, and motioned for him to stop; the two watched in slight awe as the tangrowth seemed be eaten alive by whatever attack the gardevoir had launched. What the hell...?

Solaris gaped like a fool for a few moments before recalling that he had to hand out the rewards and teleported out long enough to grab the bag and return.
"...good job...everyone. Um, here are the weeks rewards. If you'll excuse me..." He trailed off, leaving the guildmembers to grab their stuff and go.
He turned to Selena who was starring back at him with the same blank expression.
"I think it would be best if we combined forces and remained here in the palace together."
"...for once I agree, Solaris. But let me remind you that this changes nothing."
Spira had shifted over to Spike, then to his shoulder cannon, then to the Absol's face where she scowled.
Was he out of his mind with that?!
Donovan stood, leaving the care of his brother to that sunglasses wearing Gardevoir girl.
With a growl he headed for the exit. ******** Weavile, ******** guilds. He'd deal with them all later.

As Donovan stepped out of the guild, two pairs of eyes peered down at him from the wall surrounding the guild.
"Should we maybe kill him? He didnt do as we assumed he would?"
"No, dont bother. We should just report this Tangrowth to the boss. Our Weavile friend just jumped a notch higher on our list of worries."
The two vanished, off to inform their 'boss'.
With this new threat and more enemies, the Sun and Moon Guild combine forces.
Looks like you'll be seeing Selena a lot more frequently since she's now lodging here for a bit.

Zori & Suki & Kai & LunaThe team, realizing that they'd arrived too late, grabbed half of whatever they'd normally be given, seeing as they'd answered the bell, but had been unable to help. They definitely didn't want to take more than what they deserved. Then, they left to head back to their room without another word, although Zori dipped her head slightly to Solaris and Selena as they passed by, thanking them for what they did get, and showing respect to the Guildmasters.

Tolin immediately took a few hops back after the shot impaled the Tangrowth cleanly. " That was rather..." Puer moved up to Tolin, passively relieved that the threat was gone. " That was flashy." Tolin replied with a simple "mmm", not yet turning his head. " Did you see who fired it?" Albus walked over to the pair, catching the last sentence. " It was one of the Moon Guilders, the gardevoir." Albus half-turned, signaling to the unconscious pokemon. " The one being carried by the Gallade. I think his name is... Alfred?" Tolin muttered lightly under his breath, too quietly for anyone to hear. When he was met with a quizzical gaze, he simply replied " Don't worry about it. Let's just head for our room." Puer nodded, not really caring.

Blade frowned again as it turned out Selena and the Moon Guild would be staying with them, biting his tongue to keep from speaking out against the plan. It wasn't his place to question Solaris' decisions, he'd just have to make sure to keep a closer eye on things until the Moon Guild left.
While Zaru scowled and started brooding over thoughts of his own, Jonah threw a lazy salute to the Guildmembers and Teleported himself and the Infernape away, back to let Jasper know what had gone on. Tavian && Cael && Cerberus && Rembrandt && Ivy While Cael grinned and immediately grabbed their monetary rewards before dashing out of the room, Tavian rolled his eyes and calmly followed the Pikachu to make sure he didn't go overboard with the money hoarding, turning back to wave goodbye to Altair as he went.
Cerberus fidgeted awkwardly and glanced around again as the teams started collecting their rewards, completely at a loss for what to say next. In his panic, he let his eyes drift back to the Ninetales, and instantly a remark tumbled out of his mouth before he could stop it. "Arceus, but you're gorgeous."
As soon as he had spoken the Houndoom's eyes grew to the size of dinner plates and he blushed so hard even his red fur couldn't hide it, and clapping one forepaw to his mouth he sat frozen in horror for a moment before completely panicking and dashing out of the room as fast as his legs could take him. Way to be smooth, Cerby. Way to be smooth...
Much calmer now that the Tangrowth was gone, Ivy toddled up to where the rewards were being given out along with Rembrandt, and the two of them picked out an egg from the pile before leaving with it.
