Misunebo was a little surprised at the others bold action, well, bold for him anyways. It brought a smile, not a smirk, not a grin but a genuine soft and tender smile to his lips. He turned his hand over so he could link their fingers together, the gesture simple and sweet. If he moved too quickly, did too many things at once then he was sure to send his little rabbit skittering. No anything too bold or too aggressive would certainly activate the natural prey instincts that were buried within Adonis.

He returned his eyes to gaze out the window at all the bright lights that sparkled as if they were colored diamonds. The city was certainly amazing, Misunebo thought, his eyes sparkling with excitement. If they managed to get to sleep that night it would be a miracle all in itself. The reflection of his friend and current love interest caught his attention and he frowned slightly. "How's your ear?" He asked, referring to the one that had a portion wrapped in bandages. "I'll change the dressing for you. It's probably a good idea to give it some air for a little bit as well."

Adonis didn't mind it at all when the fox linked their fingers. He blushed good naturedly and smiled, embarrassed but happy.
At the question, however, the blonde rabbit blinked. He turned his eyes upward, towards the floppy appendage.
"Oh....you don't have to do that...." he said lowly, looking back up at Misunebo, "....but, you're right...maybe we should take them off for a while..."
He didn't really want to. He knew it would look awful. The fur had been shaved off and the skin was bruised and nasty looking. That's why he had decided to keep it covered at all times. It was the exact same thing with his eye. Misu had not seen it since it had been damaged. He didn't want his best friend to see it.....
Adonis gave a smile,
"....I have more bandages and stuff in my bag. Come on,"

(lols. I learned how to make it pretty. XD)

The fox boy smiled in return, following the rabbit to where their stuff had been set, picking up the boys bag and setting it on the table that was in the room. "Sit here." Misunebo suggested, pulling out a chair from the table for Adonis to sit in. Once the other was sitting, he began to gently remove the bandages and gave a smile. "Well it looks much better then it did though I think giving it time to breathe will most definitely help the healing process. Has your eye been giving you any trouble?" Misunebo asked, dabbing a little bit of disinfectant onto the wound he was looking at.

((lol this is actually pretty plain to the styles I use now))

Adonis immediately put a hand up to his patched eye,
"Yeah, that's fine, no worries."
The last thing he wanted was for Misunebo to try and remove the black eyepatch. He had seen the condition of his eye lately. He used to be able to see, just barely, but now...it was only black. The pupil had turned grey and the iris had fogged over into a strange an unnatural color. He didn't like it at all, and he didn't want Misu to see it.
"I just prefer to keep it covered all the time. It's just...easier that way~"
He chuckles nervously, wincing a little at the sting of the disinfectant.

With a bit of a frown, Misunebo decided against pressing the matter, seeing how it made the other nervous just talking about it. "Alright then." He said, leaning forward a bit to gently blow on the injury on the rabbit's ear. The action usually took the sting out of the disinfectant. Soon, Misunebo threw away the old bandages and packed away the disinfectant back into the backpack. "There. We'll just let it breathe for a little while before putting another bandage back on."

Adonis smiled weakly,
"....thank you, Misu~"
He didn't dare try to straighten out the damaged ear, but the other one sprung up at the sound of loud music from outside. He turned and rushed back to the window, looking for the source. It seemed like there was an event going on downstairs, on one of the land-bridges that allowed pedestrians to cross the busy streets without the worry of a ped-crossing.
Luckily...their window was the perfect seat.
"Wow! Look at this! There are a bunch of people down there!"
He turned back to the fox, one visible eye sparkling,
"I bet it's busy like this all night in a city, huh, Misu?"

He wouldn't know. His entire life, he'd only lived in the small town where he'd been born and raised. This was his first time ever leaving that place, and it was a scary thought. He felt better though....enclosed in an apartment, with no one but his best friend with him.
The only person who wouldn't judge him, yell at him, or tell him what to do. He was genuinely glad that he was here with Misunebo, even if the fox was...making all those weird advances on him and stuff like that.
He didn't mind it too much, except for he was easily embarrassed and Misu always seemed to find it amusing.
Even if it was embarrassing.....at least he knew that Misu wanted him around, right-?

Going over to the window himself, he opened it, greeted by the cool night air that felt good against his skin. It really was amazing how the city could be so alive and yet parts of it seemed like it was in hibernation. After a moment of watching them, Misunebo took Adonis' hand gently, gathering his courage. "Adonis ..." He began slowly, blushing a bit, "I love you." He waited for a moment but continued on quickly. "It's been going on for a while now but I wanted to find the perfect moment to tell you and, well, now seems like as good of time as any perfect moment."

Adonis's visible eye widened and a bright red blush spread over his face. He stared, gaping like a fish, at the fox before him. He tried to find his voice to reply but after a few attempts of opening his mouth, closing it, then opening it again, he gave up and just stared.

He didn't know what to do, and it was uncomfortably silent for the longest time. It pressed upon his sensitive ears like a heavy blanket.

"Y-You....you love me...?"

Misunebo nodded slowly, his heart beating so fast he thought it might burst out of his chest. "Very much." He replied quietly though he didn't have any doubt that Adonis could hear him. "I just ... wanted to wait to tell you though it's okay if you don't feel the same way about me, it doesn't change that we're still best friends because we'll always be friends first before anything else."

Adonis was completely shocked. He stammered for a while, then fell silent again. He reached out timidly, taking hold of Misunebo's hands,
"....wow..."
He didn't even know what to say. What are you supposed to say to that?
He swallowed hard and licked his lips,
"....um....so....wh-what.....what do you do, if you love someone like this-?"

The little blonde rabbit had no clue.
He'd never been close to someone like that and he hoped that, perhaps, the fox would have an idea.

"......I mean....um.....I don't....I don't know so....m-maybe, if you wanted......you c-could show me-?"

Maybe if they started out slow, it wouldn't be so scary.
