Averill frowned, putting her sword back on her back. "You know me Neomi." She said. "I am the leader of the mermaids."

Neomi shrugged. "I know, we just have a lot of us. You can't remember all of us, so I'm just letting you know again." She winked. "And oh! I'm usually out swimming, so I've must of forgotten. I sometimes forget to group meetings.." She blushed and looked down. She flipped back into the water, needing to get wet.

Averill shrugged, looking at the boy again. "Do you need a way back home? I can help you get where you need to go."
(Did you guys know one of the mermaid myths startes if you kiss a mermaid, you turn into a mermaid? I didnt know that hahaha)

Neomi grumbled, shaking her head. "No." She said giving the leader a sign that she liked the guy. "I will. Come on. Where do you live?" She asked the boy, smiling and jumping out of the water. She did something that most mermaids couldn't do. She turned into human, with toes instead of a scaly tail. She shooed Averill away, smirking. She watched Niel and took his hand, walking him up the beach, waiting for Averill to stop them.
(Oh, wow! I didn't know that! How interesting.. eek )

Averill sighed, "Neomi, this is why you are still at the bottom of the food chain." She looked at the boy. "Escorting humans is prohibited, and yet you still try and do it. And in front of a leader, too." She frowned. "I am coming, too. At least then I dont have to punish you."

Neomi sighed and made a kind of hiss angrily. "Fine. But if you try anything.." She warned and shook her head, irritated already by her leader's precense. No wonder she swam around while they had meetings. This girl HAD to take control, and HAD to be with everybody, knowing everything. She squirmed. This will be uncomfortable. "You sure you don't want to stay in the water or on the beach?" She asked anxiously, and weakly. But before Averill could answer, Neomi was pulling his arm quickly, already halfway down the beach.

Averill jumped in the water, letting her legs turn back to a tail. This girl is a pain in the A** She laughed to herself.

Neomi rolled her eyes that she was showing-off, but ignored it. She finally got to be with the guy. Human. She nodded back at her leader and felt like sticking out her tongue, but that would be considered 'Rude.' So she smirked and pointed at him behind his back. She quickly turned and watched him, smiling. She was starting to trust him. A lot. She sighed and knew she was one of those that got along easily with friends and new people. Sometimes this can be good and wise, and sometimes it can be reckless and dangerous.

Neomi heard a splash and looked towards the sea, seeing two small heads peep out of the water. One was a girl, one a boy. She smiled at both of them, waving.
