"I ... I guess I just never really thought about it." Out loud, he thought to himself, ignorant to Justus' fuming beside him. Maybe it had been a good idea to come here after all.
"I think... it would be nice to have a dress just to have one." He said, lightly fingering the fabric and smiling a bit to himself.
"So umm... are we going to do the fitting now?" He asked, looking over at Abygale.

Whenever you're ready... *She trailed off, pulling open a drawer from one of the work tables, taking out a few measuring tools, tapes and strips of cloth etc.*
Do you mind dressing down a bit?

"No." Devlin shook his head, untangling himself from Justus' rather strong grip, and headed over to Abygale. As a seasoned Quidditch player he had even less reason to be embarrassed at getting somewhat undressed in front of people. The fact that he didn't really see his body as something sexual helped, as well as the fact that he was naked with Justus all the time when he was changing.
Devlin took off his shoes and stripped off his shirt nonchalantly, putting them in a neat pile.
"My shorts too?" He was wearing below-knee length shorts, though not long enough to be called Capris. "I'm wearing boxers."

Justus was reluctant to let Devlin go, obviously. For once he wished the other boy would feel some shame at stripping half of his clothes off in front of two virtual strangers. But it was hard to feel shame when you didn't think or couldn't understand how your body could be appealing to people in ways that weren't purely clinical, artistic, or scientific.
Not that Devlin was stupid, he just couldn't quite grasp the concept in its entirety without being able to actually feel it.
".... shorts should be fine." Justus answered, casually crossing his arms and resisting the urge to turn and glare at Circinus. He didn't want to see the look on the man's face. No doubt he was drinking in the sight of Devlin's bare upper torso. He hadn't barely said a word to Justus since they entered the shop, which annoyed him because Devlin had only agreed to do this after Justus encouraged him to.
Never mind that Justus had done nothing but act cool towards the Professor either. And he was rather interested as to what 'terms' the two of them had agreed on as well, but as long as it didn't affect Devlin or himself, he supposed he had no right to ask.

Devlin stood in front of Abygale, raising his arms and standing with his feet shoulder width, tall and straight. He gave Abygale an apologetic smile that Justus wouldn't see and shrugged lightly.
"You know, I don't even know my measurements." He commented. Now that he was more interested in the situation, and was more in his element, it was easier to relax.
"So... " He realized he didn't really know what to say to the 'Mom' of one of his friends. Talking to the parents of your mates was generally not a 'cool' thing to do, because most parents were lame.

Justus pressed his lips together and didn't say anything else, standing as cool as a cucumber with the pleasant smell of strawberries wafting around him.

*Watches with a thoughtful frown as Abygale's thin fingers manipulate the measuring strip, her eyes intent on Devlin as she notes his body's curves and dips; edges over to Justus, sleekly folding his arms over his chest as he speaks* She's not cross, exactly; just intent on Devlin at the moment. And I believe she's cranky because she thought I was bringing along a boyfriend. *Smiles flirtatiously across the room at his biffle*

I am not cranky. *She scowled, thin brows furrowing and her rather pixie-like nose scrunching up in irritation at her long time friend before she looks back to her work.*
I'll be sure to write them down for you, so if you decide to have any other garments made the designer won't have to bother with this step. Not that it's any trouble.
*Straightens and sets the tape aside, going over to get a piece of parchment from one of her tables.*
Yes, actually I had. I spent all morning preparing to douse any sort of hateful flames and made sure I was dressed to kill and you brought in students... Not that I'm legally inclined to say if I would have continued to fret over my outfit for their benefit as well.

Justus mimicked Circi's stance as the man settled in beside him, folding his arms and leaning back somewhat. "I wonder what gave her that impression, Professor?"
He raised a cynical eyebrow as he spoke, looking at Circi momentarily before turning his attention back to Abygale.
"Either way, Ms. Travers, you look..." Justus flickered his eyes in appraisal over her form, sliding slickly in a smoother, lower tone of voice. "Lovely. Your efforts certainly haven't gone unappreciated."

Hm, that wouldn't be very nice of you, Circinus.. Even keeping compliments to yourself. *Caught the touching bit, which only made her smile just the slightest*

"And the Professor already turned down the 'favours' I offered him in exchange for his help." Justus said, standing with his arms still crossed even as he wanted to shift away sulkily after Abygale's implication.
