Going back to helping to pick the apples, "Do you..wanna be friends?" She asks, looking up to Ask again with a smile.

"Sure." He said willingly. He liked little kids. He knew a surprising amount of meta children, maybe he could introduce her around sometime.

Moira smiled a little more before she went back to picking the apples, taking a bite out of the one she had grabbed earlier every five or so apples. Surprisingly enough, the rough and tumble girl seemed to be having fun while picking the apples.

Ask hummed a bit as he climbed higher into the tree for the apples at the top. "Moira, catch the ones I drop down?" he called down to her. He was glad she seemed to be having a good time. It was clearly about time.

Looking up, she nods, "Alright..!" she grins before shifting her weight on the bottom part of the ladder so she could catch the apples without tumbling down. "So.. do you have any brothers or sisters?" Moira asks with a slight tilt of the head. She hadn't met anyone yet who had the mass of blood siblings that she had, only adopted ones and she was wondering how 'rare' her case was.

"No, I don't have any siblings that I know of. It's just me and my Mom. I'm not lonely though, I know a lot of other metas. My Mom's friends both have meta children, and I've met a lot of them around and about." He tossed some more apples at her carefully.

"Really? Thats gotta be nice..not having any brothers or sisters..you'd get all the attention to yourself." She mumurs, almost jealous of his situation because of the attention bit, but she let it go as she caught the apples and gently tossed them into the basket, wondering if either of her parents were wondering where she had gone.

"Yeah, I guess it's nice. Mom and I are kinda the same though, we need our space. And she doesn't smother me with attention." Ask said while reaching for a particularly perfect looking apple.

"But you do get attention...I don't really get much." She sighs before taking another bite of the apple she had gotten before, soon finishing so she tossed it to the ground because she figured that it should be fine for now. She'd toss it in a trash bin when she got to one.

The small girl smiled softly as she looks up to the older boy, "Thanks... sometimes I wish my Momma could give me proper attentions. I dunno where shes at tho.." Moira lets out a quiet, nervous sigh. Sometimes she would spend hours just trying to find one of her parents but the hunt would end to with no avail.

Ask frowned. That didn't sound very parentish to him. Her parents must be seriously inept. "That really sucks." There just wasn't another way to put it. "I bet my Mom'd be willing to let you hang out at our house." He tossed her down a few apples. "I can also introduce you to a bunch of other kids some time if you want." It was a shame Moira was so miserable, she seemed like a good kid, one that would have a happy cheerful personality if there wasn't so much angst.

"I dunno if I could go. I...Id has to ask Momma about it" She says before catching the apples and carefully tossing them into the basket, "Ive met lotsa kids already from my 'ventures. I think Momma wants 'ta meet my friends but.." The girl shrugs as if it was nothing, "I don' wanna bother her with more leetle kids.".

"Yeah, asking is generally a good idea, saves getting in trouble." He thought a moment, "Well most of the time anyway." He saw that the basket was almost completely full of apples. "Want to take a break and play tag or something?"
