Rozene sighed a bit disappointed. "Ok..." She wasn't in the mood to pout for her food so she just took accepted what she got. Besides, she could eventually learn how to kill a duck or a squirrel on her own or maybe from her mother. However she seemed not to hunt too much so Rozene probably had to learn on her own.
Strawberry had excitement in her eyes. "Oh! That's really good news! I'm glad she found someone to settle down with and have a family." She got up for a second. "Hope you don't mind, but I want to wash up for a bit." She went outside the den to the lake. I wish Rosa and Ninea would settle down with a mate as well, she thought to herself. Eventually after cleaning up she came back. "Alright...all finished. Just didn't want to be dirty, besides I needed a bath."

Prince was sorry to see his daughter upset. "Rozene dear, I know you really wanted duck or squirrell but you need to realize that it is not very nice to hurt other animals, they are people too. I hope you understand dear." He hated to see his daughter disappointed.
Prince turned to Strawberry as she left the den, "alright dear."
Osiris saw the conversation between his dad and sister. "Dad? Can I help you get food? Pretty please?". Osiris sat on his haunches bouncing with excitement.
Prince told Osiris "Sure son, Rozene? Why don't you think about it for a moment and let me know if you would you like to come to?" Prince got up to go check on Strawberry. "Children I will be right back, please stay in the den" he called out as he left the den. He came up to the Strawberry and nuzzled against her neck, "Are you okay darling? I am worried about you."

Rozene shrugged. "It's fine..." She watched him wander off to get Strawberry. Once he was gone she went to curl up in a corner before shutting her eyes trying to nap. She really didn't feel like doing much of anything all of a sudden.
Strawberry was heading back to the den after a nice wash up. She didn't want Prince to know she was thinking about the other girls so she smiled. "I'm fine...just wanted to get the dirty mud off my coat. I'm a pink fox, not a brown one." She chuckled a bit. "Although brown foxes are pretty too."

Prince laughed at Strawberry, "I think brown foxes are neat looking but personally I prefer pink ones" he said with a wink.
"I know you miss the girls but we do have two beautiful young kits here, and I wanted to tell you when we were away from the kids, Aurora just gave birth to two kits...a little boy and a little girl. She told me that her and her mate Victor are happy and healthy." He held her close as this information sinked in.
Meantime, Osiris rolled his eyes at his sister and then sat down and dozed off while waiting for his parents. His parents could here his snores outside.

Strawberry chuckled. "You just said that info before I left." She looked back at the creek lightly smiling thinking about Aurora being a mother. "Anyways, do you want to get some fish for the kids while you're here? I heard you say you wanted to get that, or did you want to bring them along to learn to hunt as well?"

"Hmmm....I was going to teach the kids...but I can hear Osiris storing and I know Rozene didn't seem interested. I think we can just get fish now for them while they sleep." He walked towards the edge of the river to prepare which spot he wants to use for fishing.

Strawberry lightly smiled. "Alright. Let me help you in the least." She looked around for some fish before scooping them out of the river and onto the bank before dropping them to talk. "Alright. That looks like enough. We should get back so they can be fed." She laughed a bit. "I'd hate to see what would happen if one didn't get fed."

Prince pulled out some fish too and placed them next to those Strawberry obtained. He chuckled, "Yeah, the kids would probably start eating the furniture...just kidding...".

Strawberry laughed. "That wouldn't be any good although I think Rozene would starve herself before she did that." She picked up the fish and headed back.
Rozene eventually woke up from her nap as she heard mom coming in. She cocked her head to the side. She felt a lot better. Normally after a nap she would be more reasonable and tolerant. "Looks good." She called out.

Prince laughed and then after picking up the remainder of the fish followed Strawberry inside the den. He laughed as Rozene awoke from her nap. "Hi sweetie," he whispered since Osiris was still sleeping.
In his little corner Osiris heard the quiet noises that everyone was making as they got ready to eat. He stretched his body and then yawned. Finally opening his eyes, he gently but groggily sat up and watched his parents. "Hi mom and dad, is dinner ready?" He asked as he began to wake up completely.

Strawberry smiled at her two children. "Yes, dinner is here thanks to your dad."
Rozene went up to the fish while batting at them. "They're sticky."
Strawberry nodded her head. "Yes they are, but I'll show you a way to clean them and have the meat if that's what you want."
Rozene smiled and nodded her head. "Yes please."
Strawberry skinned the fish so the meat would be exposed. "There you go. That should be good enough. Anyone else want their fish cleaned? I'll just wash up again later."
Meanwhile Rozene got started on the fish. She picked out the rainbow trout in the pile since it looked rather colorful.

Osiris looked at his sister... laughed...and then started ripping his fish to pieces. "No thanks mom, I got this" He said with a mouth full of fish.
Prince laughed and took his nails and gently cut open his fish without making the slightest mess and began to eat it enjoying the flavors of it.

Rozene eventually finished her meal before wandering over to her mother. "How about we go clean up now?"
Strawberry nodded her head. "Alright dear." She looked at Prince and Osiris. "If you want you can come to. It always feels good to get a nice cleaning." She then went out the door with Rozene to a stream to bath in.

Osiris followed and ran past his mom and knocked his sister aside and then with a great leap did a cannon ball into the water splashing Rozene completely from head to toe. Prince chuckled and followed his young family out. He sat and watched the kids for a few. "Be careful kids...."

Rozene yelped at first from the surprise cannon ball. She wasn't sure if she was happy or annoyed. The kit sighed before heading to a much quieter area wanting to see if she could catch a fish.
Strawberry chuckled a bit in amusement. "Well someone's got tons of energy today."
